Tantis took the datacube and replayed. He looked at it for a minute then replayed it again. "Tatooine, huh." He closed his eyes for moment. "Fina you mind holding a spar with me on the way to Tatooine?" He asked her. And awaited her answer.

Fina looked to the Datacube again as Tantis replayed it. She watched the man and listened to him speak. Then Tantis spoke and her eyes were drawn up to his face again. A smile crossed her face. "That would be nice. I was actually coming here to ask you if you would like to spar before the officer handed me the Datacube." She then looked down the hall for a moment. "We should let Sven know that we're going though... unless you think he'd send us out..." She said, then turned her eyes back to Tantis' face.

The Galley of the Arcadia was fully stocked and spacious enough to serve over three dozen crewers for months on end.
Yet by it’s reckoning, its capability to service a full crew of hungry pirates was being badly wasted.
There was only one crewman on the entire ship.
And he was barely eating anything.

Link looked up from his meal to see the Hologram woman staring at him.
“Oro?”

“Is that your answer to everything?” She demanded.

“No, that’s the initial response to most things.” He replied. He pinched a chunk of his meal between the two wooden tongs balanced between his fingers and placed the wad in his mouth.

“Ever hear of the Fork?” She asked him as he repeated the action.

He chewed and swallowed. “A fine invention. But as its not required of this one to eat in the fasion of those who rely on it he will continue to eat his lunch in the manner of his choosing.”

“But plain rice??”

“A simple lunch. One should not pursue the taste of good food. It distracts from the Way.”

“What way?”

“The Way of the Itinerant Warrior.”

“The same way that says to hold no preferences in anything?”

Link gave a disaproveing glance to the girl.

“Oh I’m sorry.” Sia said with marked sarcasm. “I wasn’t aware that the guys who lived by that little code got to pick and choose which rules to follow. Does the Jedi Order work that way too, perchance?”

“Yes, sadly enough.” Link finished his bowl and moved to the sink in the Galley’s kitchen, the hologram floating behind him. “The Order has an unnerving habit of stubbornly holding to some of the code, while other parts of it are blithely ignored. As it is followed today, the code is much changed from what it should be. There is no Emotion, there is Peace. There is no Ignorance, there is Knowledge. There is no Passion, there is Serenity. There is no Death, there is the Force.” He began to rinse and cleanse the dish he had been using, ignoring the dishwasher that stood not a meter to his right. “The Order believes in absolutes. They have forgotten how to balance, how to achieve equilibrium between all things. Wherever there is passion, ignorance, emotion, they seek to purge it. Wherever there is Chaos they enforce Order. They believe that they are the ultimate good in the galaxy, and the only ones who can protect it from ultimate destruction. In believing that, they lose sight of everything.”

Sia nodded, feigning interest. “And what about you then?”

“This one goes by the code as it was written down long before. Emotion, yet Peace. Ignorance, yet Knowledge. Passion, yet Serenity. Chaos, yet Harmony. Death, yet the Force. One must master his emotions, not purge them from himself. One must always understand his ignorance to better receive the knowledge life presents to him. Passion of the soul must be tempered with serenity of mind. In the depths of chaos, there is harmony, and though one may die, the Force will be with him, always. Simplified, that is the code this Jedi lives by. Nothing exists in this galaxy without something to counterbalance it. Without the Jedi, there is no sith. Without the Sith, there is no Jedi. An Outlaw only exists when there are Laws he can dwell outside of, and without outlaws, Law itself has no meaning.”

“Yeah….shut up now.” Sia said. “I may be a higher life form than you, but even I get bored by Philosophy as stupid as that.”

“You wished to know.”

“Yeah, and I also want to know why you want to go to Nar Shaddaa. I thought we were going to hit someplace with a center of learning, not the Shipjacker homeworld.”

Link set his dish away and began walking to his quarters. “This one has agreed to participate in a fighting competition in two weeks time there. The prize is a million credits.”

The Hologram paused for a moment, running the idea of such wealth through whatever constituted the brain of a cyborg starship.
“A million credits….its not much but…” She looked to the departing Jedi and quickly hastened after him. “So shouldn’t you be bulking up or something? High protein diet and the like? I mean I got dewback ribs in the freezer.”

Link shook his head. “A wasted effort.”

“Well shouldn’t you be training? Like doing jedi aerobics or some crap like that?”

“This one has yet to stop training.” He remarked sagely.

Sia blinked, the hologram displaying confusion. “You sat around with your eyes closed for four hours and then ate a bowl of rice!!! What kind of competition are you entering?!”

"I will talk to him about, I will also show him this datacube and I will see wht he thinks about it." He looks at the officer, "You," He points to Fina, "Do as you wish, you," he points at the other, "Head back to your position, both are dismissed." He then walked over to his room he clipped his saber to his belt loop and walked off to see Sven.

The Sabre leapt from hyperspace. Its stealth and scrambler systems activated as it sat over the densely-vegetated planet of Dathomir. Darth Latro looked through his viewport and spotted a great Palleaon-Class Star Destroyer. Taking down a few of the scrambler systems, he opened communications. It was safe to say that was Darth Fernos ship, but he kept his location and beckon scramblers, as well as his cloaking system engaged in case something were to happen. He hailed the great ship.

"Ship hailing us," the Com-O reported.

"Let it onboard," HM replied.

"You are clear to dock." The comm officer reported back to Darth Latro.

"Affirmative."He said as he took disengaged the rest of his systems and approached the ship to prepare to dock into the great warship ands soon the sith Infiltrator sat neatly on the hanger floor.

As the hatch and ramp lowered. Darth Latro made his way down, his dark gray cloak about him as his orange orbs scanned the ship. He made a small sound as if agreeing and waited upon his escort, the troopers in this hanger were just normal guards.

Fina merely nodded and walked back to the door to enter her room. Activating it, she watched it slide up to allow her to enter her room again. Walking into the room, she heard the door slide shut behind her, and went to the shutters of the room, setting them to nearly close, then turned the lights off and closed her eyes. Reaching out with the force, she'd find her way to the bed, seat herself cross legged, and would start her meditation. Like this, she would attempt to clear her mind... Whatever was in store for them in the future would reveal itself when the time came.

"Abdulla III," Aurora answered as she poured two cups of cocoa. "This is the safehouse we occasionally use."

"My challenge, my destiny, The Licker, and if you do not cooperate, not only will it kill me, it will kill both you and the rest of the organisms on this planet. One big bite at a time," he said. This witch had some trust issues, but she had to belive this one.
She nodded. "Okay. Say I believe you. What do i need to do to stop it?"

He closed his eyes for a moment then spoke again, "You must do nothing, but hide yourself from the beast. You and your rancors must find shelter, and when I am done slaying the beast, I shall return to you, make your presence known when you feel it is time, ok?," he said.

Throughout the hangar, the intercom blazed open with the robotic voice. "Welcome to the Pillar, Lt. Gren will give you the honor of leading to the meeting room." A young man stepped forth to the sith, unafraid (as ferno had somehow imbued most of his crew) of the newcomer.

"You are no longer in space, nor anywhere within sith imperial control," Gren reported. "On the pillar, Lord Ferno is the master, and by his gracious benevolence, allows us to greet you. He expects none of his crew to be harmed in any way, so I would refrain from such impulses if you have any. We serve him loyally. Now, if you will follow me," the Lt. stated, while a bold young man, Veers had been keeping an eye on him for a while now. The plaguetroopers turned, and marched back to their own area.

"If you have felt already, Lord Ferno keeps a small cadre of assassins on board at all times," Gren announced, looking left and right. Though he could not see them, nor force inclined, he always knew they had to be there. "I'll cut the small talk until we get to the room. HM-74 is there to meet with you. As with all guests, Ferno never directly speaks with anyone. His droid acts as a more than reputable emissary. And I would not suggest destroying it either."

He opened a door to a table with eight seats, one which was meant for a general meeting of officer staff, but on the pillar rarely used. The rusty droid looked at the newcomer, adjusting is jaw and standing up. The red eyes stared at the sith. "I assume you requested an audience with the Master, then?"

His meal finished, the monstroscity hunted through the jungle areas. It felt life, all around, its instincts keen on the death which had been here. But its senses, evolved from that of the vornksyr, picked up a new prey. A challenging prey. Two users, one weak, the other only moderately threatening. Nothing like that black garbed character he had lost to. Its master. It had pondered the defeat it had suffered time and time again, but could never quite understand how much rage had been needed to take it down. Its thought processes were limited, but it wasn't stupid.

Muscles tensed and sprung into action, as it began to hide its presence, creating echos as it moved along the basin, stalking its prey. Perhaps this may make a good meal indeed, as glands began to produce copious amounts of poison and neurotoxins. Its mouth drooled from the idea of feasting. it grew closer to the cave, as the predator only can.

~~~~~~~~~
Hassen looked at the chonometer. He tried to lift his arm, but it was like nothign was reponding. The meat, where had it come from? Where did it need to be? What sick creature would forcibly make this effect upon him? It mattered not. His arm finally responded, as he grabbed the raw meal and ate it. His body sprang to life, as the chornometer ticked down to zero. The blast doors slammed shut, as the mechanical voice spoke again.
"I'm sorry, but you just don't have what it takes to survive," it said. The Jedi master pulled out his lightsaber, adn stabbed it in the door. "Nuh uh uh!" The voice said.
"What ever, I must stop that menace!" Hassen said, as the heat began to melt the door. Then it happened. A click. Hassen picked up on it and turned around. Nothing. He looked down, watching the bits of the floor come up from the resounding explosion. The room filled with shrapnel, and fire billowed from the mountainpeak as the tower fell down.
Above, in an unmarked shuttle, Lord Ferno had already cleared atmosphere, watching the flames billow from the smoking tower as it crashed to the ground. There was no such thing as "overkill" when Ferno dealt with a victim. A Jedi Master? It was barely ranked a knight in his book. Someone had grossly overexaggerated their strength back at headquarters, but it was a bounty well worth saving.
Hitting the hyperdrive, the spectre headed off to another system.
Darth Latro remained silent during the entire introduction. The assassins were about. Any who would attempt to force their way upon this ship would likely find themselves quickly one with the force. He kept his hands clasped together infront of his mid-body under the long, drooping selves of his robes and followed behind the bold trooper. Ferno trained his men well, Dri'sah liked that.
As he was escorted into the room, the sith and the droid locked eyes. He kept his cloak covered about him and nodded."I am he, Darth Latro."The voice was as a blade cutting the air, smooth and deadly."Where is your honored Master?"
She laughed. "Ha. If this monster's SO powerful, do you honestly think you could beat it on your own. No. You're just another arrogant swordsman." She sneered.
"How about I help you, and we call it even from there."
He nodded no, "No, as I said this is my masters test. 4 years ago he said that if I was to defeat the licker, I would be granted the rank of sith Knight. So, then I must slay it on my own, that is the way of the sith," he said. He knew that this women was most likely to reply with the usual "Then your ways are stupid, thats why your people are weak!" but, she had no idea.
