Mai-lin's frist stop was the memorial. She stood there for a second before bowing and saying a quick thank you for letting her pass unharmed before running to where she and her brother use to sit. She had made her father promise her that Li would be buried there like he promised her he would be. She climbed to the middle of the tree that stood next to her brother's grave and sat down on the thic branch. "Hello, Nii-san. I haven't been here in a while, nee? While, I became a genin! All thanks to you helping me. One of my teammates is from the Mist. At first I thought we wouldn't get along but then I talked to my other teammate, he's Yuhi-san's younger brother, and he told me that I should try to get along with Ran-san. So I am. I also met my teacher. She seems very nice...and...I found the person who had your picture. You romised you wouldn't give it to anyone! Why did you give it to her? Who is she...?" Mai-lin slashed at her eyes with the back of her hand, trying to stop herself from crying.

"Pain in the a**." Yuhi muttered as he followed after Anekio. "I hope you're going to actually try to get the Hokage to let me go on the mission with you. The next Jounin exam is to far away for me to wait for. Besides, I've got skills that could be useful for capturing the leader of that group."

Turning her head to face him, she glared for a moment, "I heard that." She turned completly around so that she was walking backwards before replying, "Don't worry. Sheesh. You act like being a Jounin or even ANBU is great." She muttered the last part quickly. "I wanna kill that b*****d though."

The higher my rank, the more I can do for people. It's my dream. "You seem to have a hell of a grudge against this guy. What did he do to you?" Yuhi asked with a bit of a frown. "I'm pissed that he and his friends seem to get into Konoha so easily, but there's something else bothering you."

"One of them hurt Itachi-san." She growled, pulling out a photo of the mass murderer. She handed it to Yuhi with a frown, she wasn't one to show people his picture. "Nothing else though, but that annoys me too." She sighed.

It looks fine to me. Yuhi thought as he handed it back. "If you're so worried about it getting damaged, why do you carry it with you? You could at least put it some place where it's less likely to get ruined."

Anekio sighed, "Because my father never approves of my love for him." She put it away, turning back around. Nobody understands it...Why can't they just let me love him in peace. She thought briefly.

"That must be hard on you." He said and lowered his gaze. "It's never easy when a parent can't accept all of you or the things you do." I guess that's why I spend so much time training.

Anekio sighed, "It was more like he couldn't believe I care about a man that killed the previous Uchiha Clan." She mumbled, "He got pretty angry when I was crying about Itachi-san's death story." She looked over at yuhi to see his gaze casted downward. "Let's change the subject, hm?"

Yuhi nodded then tried to think of something. "Oh, Kei destroyed one of the trees at our house with that jutsu of his. It turns out, he's aligned with Lightning. I hope you're not Water like I am or it will make training him rather difficult."

"I'll be fine." Anekio stated, waving her hand in the air as if it was nothing. She saw the Hokage Tower was merely a few feet and grinned, "We're almost there, are you getting scared yet?"

"Why would I be scared? I'm looking forward to it...somewhat." Yuhi stared up at the tower, feeling a bit nervous. Only Jounin can do A rank missions, I'll have to do my best the Hokage that I can do one.
