The entrance to the third room suddenly began to crumble; shortly after the entire room caved in.
The young man had found his treasure.
Now he could ensure he kept it.
For eternity.

Channeling his Chi into the sword Kurobatchi, harnessed the power of the first head of orochi, and sliced right through the rocky debree like it was sand, he then ran right through the second room, the first, and then went right out of the exit.
He caught his breath for about thirty minutes. He wasn't surprised that the ancient structure had collapsed on him, but he knew each blade was made in away that the true wielder of the blade couldn't die by a cave in in any of the Orochi Temples. He also knew that each temple was more dangerous then the last, but he had no choice, but to risk his life , as he no longer had acces to the technological resources that S.I.G.M.A had before it broke up, and his natural physical defenses where limited.

Akira Mercuraki Channeling his Chi into the sword Kurobatchi, harnessed the power of the first head of orochi, and sliced right through the rocky debree like it was sand, he then ran right ---- ---into several bindings snares. His limbs were caught and held onto tightly even a torrent more began to wrap around his entire body. He was looking like a mummy pretty soon. At the same time the ceiling and floor began lowering in unison, threatening to flatten him.

And of course, she wouldn't do much of anything yet. At least, not until she was roughly two feet away from him. She lifted her right leg, aiming for his exposed skull with the heel of her right foot. She then planted her blade into the ground for support and kicked outwards to slam her steel boot right into his nose.
And the gemstone still shone brightly...

Ho Shin He spoke to the women, commenting on what she had to say.
"Wouldn't know...Im blind remember. I can't see your so called beauty...and your paralysis abilty wouldn't work on me. To top it off, Im not the kind of man whom would need someone based on the fact you described...I can take care of myself..."
He thought for a moment.
"The only thing I really lack at this present time is friends, or people to accompany me places."
He tapped the table and thought, then he turned to the man.
"And your name would be...?" "Friendssss are overrated... all I require issss a ssssuitable masssster." Again, her tongue flicked out and she slower turned her head to look away from the men, out into the desert. Some yards away from the group, she could smell and taste another reptile, one of the many desert snakes, probably in search of water.

Once her sword was planted and she seemed to be dedicated to kicking him in the face, Ruuvan raised his left sword to head level, turning it so the handle was facing the foot, and turned his body, taking a step back to make sure his head was out of the way. Then, with a simple flick of his wrist at the last possible minute, a small stiletto-type blade shot out from the bottom of the handle to meet the armour foot.
This blade was four inches in length, housed in a six inch handle with a two inch coiled spring mechanism, and was pushed out at around 250fps, meaning that as it came into contact with a heavily armoured surface, such as the foot coming the opposite direction, the small surface area would puncture it and most likely damage whatever flashy part lay beneath it. With her momentum towards him and the blade coming out in the opposite direction, it made for a quick and clean stab through the armour into her foot - or at least, that's how it was meant to work.

"Oh really now?" Brass said curiously as he looked at towards the Strata Lighthouse and grimaced abit. Admittedly he hadn't seen that place when he first traveled all the way out here. In fact, he had completely missed it. But that reason might have been the fact it only had taken him a few hours to get to the Lands of Pain, thanks to travelling on the gaint rock. But, that was neither here nor there. "So we head that way?"

((There is a breast in your signature. o.o))
"Yep. Just straight on until we get to Strata..." So, with little to do, they continued to walk, the soft sands shifting under their weights, the desert winds being cool and very dry as it washes along them. The glassy particles all over the desert from their fight that morning were scattered over a good area of the desert, some of the large chunks jetting from the ground. But there was nothing to particularly worry about. It didn't seem to be any life active at that moment. "So... what were you doin'... way out here?"

She had expected something like that. Scoffing at such a move, she swept her right leg downward, the toe hitting the back end of the blade grip. The stiletto that flipped out grated against the sole of the boot, sending sparks flying. Of course, she had expcted a blade instead of an attack like that, so she was a bit surprised. But whatever.
The point was, his attention was away from her sword. It was hot just about everywhere, so a slight change in temperature would not be recognized underneath him. Then again, he was an elf. His senses were far beyond human, and so were his reflexes. He could probably dodge it...
But Claire had a feeling that he would not.
With that, she hopped backwards, secured her grip on the blade, and hopped backwards again, jerking the weapon from its resting place in the ground. And as soon as she did, the gemstone flashed.
There would be an explosion underneath Ruuvan as if he had stepped on a land mine. A column of fire rose up from the ground with the aim to incenerate the target above it. The main thing that he had missed during her kick- or perhaps not- was that she had used the sword as an anchor instead of just coming at him dead on with the kick, when she could quite easily heft the sword along with her.
So then... what now?

Tabi Kat The being was silent as she was all but dragged this way and that by Vahn. Silvered eyes looked around them, ever watchful and observant. She flinched however, for no reason that was discernable when Vahn released her, her fist tightening as if pained. For just a moment, Tijae spoke to Sun's mind. 'I'm sorry, lover, she's gotten stronger then last time.' before even the presence of Tijae's was gone from Sun's mind. Glancing not behind her, she followed Vahn through the door, expectant and tense body but a serene smile upon her face that seemed unfazeable. HonoRaven ((*Kicks the avatar server in the a*** stare stop that!)) *Rave was getting a little annoyed at the lack of good places to perch, but you couldn't expect ancient builders to have birds in mind when they built the place.. She drifted carefully above the group as Vahn tried a few different directions. She landed and changed back looking at the door, tempted to see if it would burn her as well." I wonder how they do that?
*shaking her head a bit she backed away from the burning door and headed after Vahn and Tellus again, for once not letting her curiosity get the better of her* xp Sunstrike Sunstrike took a look up and down the empty hallway for a moment, just as Raven passed through the door that Vahn had. There was plenty of dust here, that was a given, considering the age of the place. But there was no life. No rats, no spiders, no little desert lizards... Then the whole place shook, waterfalls of dirt and sand tumbling down the structure outside the hallway. Sun's ears lowered in a bit of shock, something was going down out here, which meant he didn't want to stay long. The wood of the door was warm as he followed his companions, softly closing it behind him in an unconscious need to shut off whatever his instincts were telling him was coming. Where we are is not where we see. His steps only slowed down slightly as he found himself in a winding hallway. He could feel some form of a draft and musked air the farther ahead he went. At least we're going up...There was nothing at all too interesting about the passage. Not even any portraits to make it stand out, let alone anything to distuinguish it from the architecture of the tower itself. Yellowed eyes looked over warily, even as he turned his head to the side, looking at Tellus, but speaking to everyone else as well. "Not so bad is it?" He gave a light hearted grin, even as a shadow pushed off the wall nearest him, glistening jaws opened wide to take a giant bite out of the would-be leader. He had to stop looking away.

If one were to ask this narrator, which they should do in such situations, he would've stated that Ruuvan hadn't taken his attention away from the sword completely, nor though it wasn't in a usable position, but he did have to take care of the foot first so this narrator would say his attention was split; Ruu was not ignorant in a fight.
So, as she started to move her foot downwards and slide off the stiletto blade, Ruuvan shifted his weight back slightly so he could break off as soon as she did. The rise in heat didn't register in his mind, nor did anything else aside from his opponent at that time, but he was ready for something to happen - what with fighting a Fire Valkyre and all. Anyway, once she jumped backwards and retrieved the sword from the ground, Ruu practically mimicked her move, in the way he moved backwards, and managed to scoot backwards far enough to get nothing but a temperature from the column of heat that erupted in front of him. Surely she had to be done soon, even demi-gods had their limits, so once again Ruu would stand ready and waiting for her next attack, hoping she would burn out soon - if you'll pardon the pun - and the fight could end.

"No..."
Her words stopped by the shadow like creature coming to take a bite from Vahn. Without a moment's hesitation, the room was flooded with light, burning bright but without heat. There would be no place for shadows to exist, the power sweeping over the area in a large wave of energy, disappaing any negative non passive energy. Even the 'people' would feel the energy as it moved through them. The girl then blinked and the light was gone.
"What was that?"

And indeed, Ruuvan was correct.
Claire was starting to pant in exertion, beads of sweat forming on her brow and sliding down her cheeks. Her body could only take so much, which is why she opened up with the sword attacks. Still, she definitely needed a rest.
Right after she kicked his a**!
"Just die already!"
Upon the second word, she rushed toward Ruuvan, her body moving forward at a blur. If she expounded her energy now, she would most definitely lose... So she had to do something else. When she was but four steps into her rush, she extended her blade and turned on her right heel in a full circle. And another... and another...
Soon, she was heading towards Ruuvan in a whirlwind of steel, aiming to tear through him like a rotary saw.

..But at that time Kurobatchi was saved by Terran, who had heard the cave starting to cave in and then used his geomancy to stop the temple from caving in.
Not wanting thanks, Terran walked off before he could see if he saved anyone, and both him and Kurobatchi headed on their ways.

Ruuvan, in comparison to Claire, was not exhausted at all; having been placed on the defensive and having only moved out of the way and used one lot of magic, so things were fine on his end. It was evident from her appearance the strain was getting to her, and soon he'd be able to use his own reserve to beat her down. Claire's exhaustion of attacking would carry through to defending, hopefully making her easier to attack once he started.
Anyway, her whirling dervish move had to be stopped first, so Ruu had to get into action. Once the blades came close to cutting his flesh, Ruuvan started to take steps backwards to remain out of range of those attacks, but that wasn't all. In an attempt to slow her attack down and eventually halt her spinning, Ruu made passing strikes with his swords into the blur of steel, retracting them as they hit the Flameberge head-on and added to the resistance of the move. Regardless of how long it took, Ruu would continue to move back at a fast pace to avoid getting struck by the swords, and continued to strike her blade on each pass, hopefully slowing it down.
