Cirisse

Cirisse nodded, 'Tis a very beautiful place to live ... full of life ... but calm ... most of the time anyways.' She remembered the events from the day before and shivered ... what pain ... and all of the newcommers had no idea ...

She smirked, turning another corner there was the shop. Walking up to the door, she opened it, 'Shall we?' Her stomache growled loudly. She giggled, but she didn't know why she found it amusing.

Rein quickly snapped out of her daze and smiled as she looked over at her. Finally, her attention was back to her stomach. It chanted to her, food food food in weird growling noise. "Huh?! Oh Yes! Please!" SHe says as she chuckled nervously, slightly embarressed about the sounds her Stomach and continued to make.

Hearing a roll of thunder, Cirisse's gaze snapped to the sky. It began to rain, 'We'd better hurry in!' She called over the roar of thunder.

Opening the door to Ms.Rosemary's shop the scent of freak cakes attacked their nostrils. Cirisse smiled.

Xue-Lien jumped at the sound of thunder, her eyes growing wider. She clinged onto her mother. 'What that?" She asked. Hisakata sat Xue-Lien at one of the taverns many tables and she sat down next to her. "It's thunder. Thank god we're in under a roof."

Lori nodded to all the information, hoping she didn't get lost. This place seemed pretty big. Oh gosh, she really hoped she didn't get lost. "Thank you very much, it would probably be best if you led me back there. I'm not too good with directions."

And if these rooms meant at least dry clothes, she was good with it. She now remembered that there was a storm out, so Lori would have to wait for her precious bath. Hefting her bags onto her shoulder, she waited patiently for Lita to show her where her room would be.

Kizzy snuggled her drawing close and Sai smiled down at her. At least she had something to keep her occupied for a little while. The young mother frowned a bit. Kizzy didn't have much to play with, now did she? 'Even I had a favorite little doll when I was little,' Sai remembered. 'She did draw that little picture now didn't she? Perhaps we'll take a trip to the store and buy some paints and things.' Yes, that was the solution, there had to be something there Kizzy could be occupied with. 'Can't just let her play in the soot all day now can I?'

She shook her head and looked up at Kizzy. "Sweetheart, you can't just play with the fireplace all the time. It's messy and can be dangerous if there's a fire in it. So, tomorrow, Mommy was thinking that we could go to Ms. Rosemary's and find something for you to play with. How does that sound?"

Kizzy seemed to take quickly to this idea. "Can I has whatever I wants?" She put the paper out infront of her and started 'walking' it about on the floor like it were a doll.

"We'll see, Kizmo. We'll see." She smiled at the little girl and stood up to walk over by Carol and Paine. "What all are we up to? Working on a dress?" She thought about seamstress' previous proposal. "Do you think you could hem my kimono for me, Carol?" Sai's eyes lit up at the thought of being able to properly fit into her favorite outfit.

Carol looked up at Sai her violet eyes shining. "Why sure thing ms. Sai" She spoke with a soft giggle. "Bring it on down and i will start up on it as soon as you wish" The seamstress giggled and stood up and pumped her fist in the air with determination. She then added a bunch of words that slurred together making it almost impossible to understand anything at all. She began giggling happily and ran quickly over to her bag and pulled out her sewing supplies on the table. "YAY!" she shrieked loudly before running off to paine. "YAY!" She shrieked in her ear before sitting back down at the table. Fidgiting every few secounds, trying to be claim.

Glancing outside, Maren just waited for the owners of the inn to come so she could check in, her deep eyes watching as the rain fell as she tried to see through to the other buildings. Everything around here amazied her, and what got her the most were the children. She had no idea how to take it all in, but as she hovered moreso in the shadows than in the light, she just accepted it with open arms, realizing it must just be an every day occurance. Sighing once more, she leaned against the wall, not sure if she should take the efforts to put herself in the open and talk to others, and slowly she drifted away as she thought about what she needed to do next.

Worm yowled at the loud clap of thunder that seemed to make the old house shudder. He leapt form the rafters to Seriva's shoulder and sat there, bristling. The golden girl was spooked, she didn't like it in here at all. Not one bit. Fumbling with the golden-hilted dagger her mother gave her, she held it out awkwardly. "Worm?.. I don't like it here.. Let's go.."

Seriva edged torwards the door, and slipped outside, just as the rain began to pelt down. with a yelp, and a screech from Worm, she dashed off in search of another place to find refuge.

Soon the golden girl came across a farmhouse, and slowed her pace. Approaching the door, she knocked on it with a closed fist. She hadn't gotten to wet, the soft yellow appendages on her back had taken most of the water damage. Though poor worm now sat on her shoulder in a very moody and pissed off, ball of black fluff with eyes.

Paine was awakened out of her world of thought when she heard a loud shriek in her ear. "Ow..." she said, sticking her finger into her ear and rubbing. Now, her ears were ringing to the high volume of Carol's voice. "Uh...Okay...what's going on?" she said, looking at a figety Carol. "Um...am I missing something?" she said, looking around for answers. But just searching didn't solve the humongous problem still in her head. WHAT SHOULD SHE DESIGN FOR CAROL?! "Decisions, Decisions..." she thought to herself...

Sai smiled wider, however took a step back at Carol's outburst. Was there something wrong with her? Not thinking too much of it Sai took a quick look at Kizzy. "You two keep an eye on her for a second, I'll be right back." Sai leapt up the stairs two at a time and then stopped, remembering the injured woman. She tiptoed down the hallway to her room and opened the door. The lightning flashed about the room enough for the maid to see where everything was and allowing her to find her kimono without much trouble. She tucked it safely under her arm, shut the door quietly and made her way downstairs. "Here it is!" She held out the blue dress to Carol. "It's too big for me, and has a few snags about it that happened when I was hugging Kizzy, back when she was still an itty bitty seedling."

"Room then? Very well." In truth Lita had hoped to stall the new resident a while, so she could consult DS further. Still, she had her instructions, and it would be rude to keep the woman waiting. "Follow me, please."

The shadowy figure headed towards the left of the teahouse, stopping near the wall and changin course. At the rear was a staircase, but she bypassed it, walking through a narrow hallway on the right. There was a door underneath the stairs, but she passed that, as well as the next door. There were only two more visible, and Lita chose the one on the left.

"Under the stairs is my own room. Across the hall is vacant- I think it used to belong to the keeper of the hot springs. The door at the end leads outside, right to the gardening shed and the springs. Upstairs is DS and Linnea, and Hisakata-san the cook and her daughter. If you need anything, please don't hesitate to ask me."

Lita left after opening the door, which revealed a sparsely furnished room painted a cheery shade of light green. There was a bed, a dresser, a nightstand, a mirror, and little else.

Lori stayed close to Lita, wanting to make sure she didn't get lost, placing the layout of the teahouse firmly in her mind as she walked. Because of her attention to that, she lost half of what Lita said. From Lita motioning to the door on the left, Lori assumed it was hers.

"Thank you very much,..Lita, was it?" Lori struggled to remember her name, but thought she had it right. "I'll be sure to ask you if I need anything, you look quite capable."

Moving into the room, Lori put her bags on the bed and looked around. It had more furniture than what she expect, which was none. Sweet, furniture!

"Mmm this is good bread and water..." Rae murmured before he leaned back on the barstool, "Hum...well..." he leaned forward and pulled his backpack up onto the bartop and opened a few pouches, "Let's see...Vials...check...herbs check...mortar and pestle...check..." he muttered as he ruffled through the thing.

It appeared that he had packed an entire alchemic laboratory into that backpack he had, complete with plenty of ingredients. He then dug deep into the backpack and withdrew a sealed envelope which he stuffed into his shirt, "Introduction letter from the Alchemist's guild...check!"

He promptly resealed his backpack and adjusted his violet lenses so that they were sitting high upon his nose bridge again. "Guess I should wait...OR I could explore the town!" he snapped his fingers and tossed his backpack over his shoulder. He walked out of the inn, one hand with his thumb hooked over his pocketbelt, the other hand held onto one of the backpacks shoulder straps.

"...You know...maybe I should get a pet...Like a falcon...some sort of friendly companion..." Rae murmured to himself as he walked down the main street of Astora, "...Then I wouldn't be all lonely like half the time!...er...He'd probably drink one of my less then healthy combinations and die..."

Rae gets a temporarily depressed, downcast look before banishing it with a smile, "Oh well! I could just hang out with Lori!"

Ayira smiled at the little girl before taking the picture back and placing it in the pocket it was in before for protection. She then turned to walk back to the window and gaze out it, noticing that no one took note of her. As she stood there looking over the dark blues and grays of the sky, becoming lost in her own thoughts. She was however shaken out of them as two of the young women in the room started talking about sewing and dressmaking. Ayira slowly turned and leaned up against the wall and listened to them talk, it seemed the one was the owner of the local dressmakers shop.

This must be my lucky day... she thought as she gazed at the two of them. Mustering up some curage she cleared her througt and pushed off the wall. "Excuse me I do not wish to intrupt." she said walking over to Carol and Paine, "But I could not help but overhear you, are you the owner of the Dressmakers shop here?" she asked Carol with a soft smile, stopping infront of her.

Carol took the dress in her hand and flipped it over a few times checking it over. She then nodded towards sai. "Ill patch up then ill fix up the size for you ms. Sai" After speaking she spilled out the contents of her bag and scooped up some pins, she brought them to her mouth and bite down on them and then one by one she placed them in the dress before she could sew.

At hearing Ayria, however, she turned around. "Mmm" She muttered before taking out the needles and giggling. "No, I dont own a dress shop" She stated "Im a seamstress, but i have yet to talk to lady chiaku, perhaps in the future i might thoguh"
