((Tis fine...I'll post when I get home though. I slept in a bit XD))
Sakura stretched a bit. "They don't like Chaos. They love me. You? Well that's another matter. Also, if you wish to speak like that...then can't you make them the Shinsengumi and yourself the Meiji? Forcing them to become something new. Someelse that they don't want to become?"
He chuckles and puts his weapons back on. "Let us go back to the village. Our guest will be there soon...don't want the villagers killing her ne?" He smiles and walks past her back toward the village, his hands on the hilts, his steps a little playful with the ground as he goes.
Kashi smiles and lets her down as they walk, getting closer to the town. "As you wish Akira. We'll get something to eat and another place to sleep." He smiles at her as they walk into town and begin searching for a place to eat, maybe something else...

Akira took her normal spot under his coat, clining to the leg of his pants and looking around. She saw a flock of birds feeding on a loaf of discarded bread. That was enough to flush her out of her little shelter to go chase after them.
Lotus stopped a little ways from teh village stood in the trees. She took a deep breath and stepped out in the open.

"Alright, I'll remember to watch what I say. I don't want to cause any unneccessary trouble. But it's still my opinion. And just so that you know, the only thing that makes me stay loyal to the Shinsengumi is the money they pay me." Well, the money wasn't exactly the only thing, at least not the reason Yumi joined the Shinsengumi in the first place. But it was such a long time since she joined, so she had slowly forgot all about what she was fighting for.
"Yes, we should go back. We don't want anything to happen to that little desperate friend of yours. I'm getting rather curious about what kind of person she is, you know. And even more, why she is chasing oyu like a maniac." Yumi grinned.

Sakura and Yumi walked into the village just as Lotus was walking out into the open. A few of the villagers had looked up the instant Lotus stepped out. Their eyes narrowing, the women sweeping their children inside, and the men continuing to mill about, but anyone who knew how to read a person could tell the tension that was hanging in the air.
Then a laugh resounded from a man Lotus had known 5 years ago...or thought she knew. His voice, not seeming to be afraid of the presence spoke to Yumi. "Oh come now Yumi-dono. The Shinsengumi was against the changing of ways. They wished to keep their old ways compared to the Meiji's new ways. They wished to practice and keep guns away from this world of ours. At least remain a hermit nation. You should keep up with current events Yumi-dono."
His eyes looked up as he stopped in the middle of the village, a few of the men nodding to him in respect. Sakura bowed to them and then turned his head to look at Lotus. "Well hello there Lotus-dono...glad to see you came to my village...I hope you know these people don't well like strangers, and have a mind to kill any who trespass ne?" He tilts his head a bit strangely still smiling. This wasn't the Chaos she had known 5 years ago...it seemed like a totally different man in fact...
Kashi chuckled and watched her before pointing to a beef pot restaurant. "Akira! Let's go get a beef pot." He smiles at her and walks inside knowing she'd follow as long as she was hungry. He would then get a place to sit and wait for her.

Yumi gave Sakura a cold glare.
"HOW stupid do you think I am?" Sakuras comment irritated her, did he really think she had become a high-ranked member of the Shinsengumi without knowing what the Shinsengumi was fighting for? But Yumi let the subject drop as she saw the new girl. Not only was she surprised how quickly the mood had changed in the town, but also because of the simple foolishness of the girl. Just walking straight into a town she knew they wouldn't accept her immediately was nothing else than foolish. Now there was yet another person Yumi couldn't understand. While curiously waiting how the situation would develop Yumi inspected the girl, Lotus. From her hair to her feet, everything now seemed interesting to Yumi.
((You see the link between Yumi's unwillingness to accept new thoughts and new ways of looking at things and the Shinsengumi xd Only just noticed it myself xp ))

Lotus said nothing, she shuffled forward very much like a zombie would, her eyes riveted on Chaos but when Yumi spoke they flickered to her and lingered there. She suddenly smiled, it was an exhausted smile, "Oh, she's so pretty....I can see why you like her..." She let out a weak laugh and collapsed.
Akira stopped chasing the birds immediatly and zipped into the restaurant, making a waitress squawk in astonishment. She secured a booth for Kashi and guarded it until he got there, snarling at anyone who approached.

Sakura chuckled as Lotus collapsed. He shook his head and walked over to her. He lifted her up with one hand and then began walking to a house. "Take care of her for me ne? I know she's a stranger but that doesn't mean we can't bring her back to health and send her away..." He smiled and then walked back out toward Yumi. "Such a strange creature...she rarely understands and comprehends even less."
Kashi chuckled at the girl and moved into the booth seating himself. He waved to the other seat. "Have a seat Akira. I think you scared them all off." He then leaned back waiting for a waitress to approach and take their order.

Yumi could not comprehend who Lotus had called pretty, so she decided to forget that comment. Seeing the girl collapse right in front of the whole village just made Yumi look down on the girl even more.
"Weak..." Yumi snorted then turned her gaze back to Chaos. Now this girl was no longer interesting, simply the thought of her bored Yumi.
"So have anything more interesting to do? Meeting some people from this village would still be nice." When speaking to Chaos her voice was remarkably softer, also the arrogant look on her face had disappeared.

Akira sat down and swung her feet back and forth. A young girl, older than Akira approached and bowed a little and asked in a soft voice, "Welcome, how may I serve you, sir."

((*chuckles* I changed it...I'm getting a new outfit...*points to sig*))
Sakura chuckles and nods a bit before leading Yumi toward a forge. He stops as loud pounding noises echo out from it. He speaks to her close to her ear so she can hear him. "You know of the master swordsmaker Masmune yes? Well...that's him...still alive despite claims of death." He had pointed to an old man, well defined still and hammering away on a sword as if it was nothing.
Suddenly he stopped up and looked up at her. "Ah, Sakura told me you'd be coming by Yumi-dono. I was hoping he'd be here though." He waves her down, Sakura, no where in site. He had simply disappeared leaving her with the very famous Masamune. "He asked me to help you learn the sword, and not just to use it. Would you like to do that? Or shall you be passing on from my nice little place?"
Kashi chuckled checking the money he had, "A beef pot sounds good. Just one and green tea as well." He then puts his bag away and waited for the waitress to leave as he rested in the 'booth'

((Well that's a kick in teh butt if I ever felt one! Nice twist, chaos 4laugh ))
Lotus woke up with a start adn was startled to see a cieling over her head. She sat up quickly and nearly blacked out again. She groaned and put her head between her knees. When she was able to see she suddenly panicked, did Chaos go away? What about that woman he was with? Did they ship her off? how long had she been out? She tried to get up and stumbled a bit.
The girl bobbed and scurried away. Akira was playing with a feather she had found on the table. She opened her mouths suddenly to speak but then closed it with a snap and put her head on the table, her eyes roving, watchig the other patrons.

((She's not really a meanie...))
Masamune? This can't be... Yes, Yumi had heard rumours about him, loads of them, and she had seen swords made by him. But she would never had thought she'd ever meet him, she was one of the people who thought he was dead already.
"Make swords? I don't really know if that's something for me... but I could at least try... I guess..." Without being able to decide Yumi walked down to the man. Feeling a bit lost she just stood there waiting for the man to say something and guide her in some way.

((Masamune will now be in dark red XD))
The man claiming to be the famed Masamune stood waiting for her. "Well, when that boy Chaos started off he wasn't either. There's his first weapon." He points to what looks like a large piece of steel, possibly a body sword, "And then his final work after a bit of...stimulation from me." He waves his hand to two beautifully intricate blades. Masamune pulled them down slowly unsheathing them. Instead of a normal scratching there was no noise except a nearly inaudible ringing.
The blades were woven with runes, and words all in them. These were the blades that matched Masamune's god blade. Masamune looked at it and smiled. "These are very powerful blades...but Sakura will never use them. Oh, and if you didn't already know, Chaos and Sakura are two totally different people. Sakura is a playful young boy, and Chaos is the hardened battle warrior and infamous hitokiri...Sakura made the blades at his side, one a sakabatou, the other a katana, in case you couldn't tell from how the sheaths were...
"Sakura doesn't believe in death unless it is absolutely unavoidable. The Sakabatou reads, 'Meek is the one who wears this blade.' Roughly in any case. The other reads, 'Cursed is the one who wears this blade.' Sakura carries a heavy burden with Chaos inside him, and must continually fight him off. Tis a hard life, but in any case, I must teach you how to concentrate yourself. Believe it or not...you are no match for Chaos, even though you've had more experience, he has learned a lesson you haven't.
"That is besides the point though, I'll bet you're wondering how I'm alive yes? Well, I am one of the four godsmiths. We aren't given that title for nothing. Our ways are passed down, and we, the original smiths hide from society, in death to live our lives in peace." Masamune smiled and walked over to a large piece of steel and lifted it without a second thought. He walked back over to Yumi and held it out to her. If she took it, she would not be able to hold it up...it weighed well over 300 pounds, probably getting closer to 500. "This will start you off for now. We'll work on strength, and then help you get better..."
Sakura had left Yumi with great speed and headed back to the village, a woman walked in and looked at the girl in the room. "Are you alright? You shouldn't be walking, you just passed out about 10 minutes ago. You're lucky though, Sakura saved your life, instead of letting the men of our village kill you. He told us that once you get better you will leave though, so just rest." She left the little house to go speak with Sakura as he walked along. They stood in the road speaking about varying things, inaudible to prying ears.
Kashi watches the little girl and shakes his head slowly. "Enjoying yourself Akira? Don't worry, our food will be here soon ne?" He smiled his normal wicked smile before looking away and waiting for that waitress to return.

Akira nodded with her chin still on the table. The girl came back and tripped on something. She let out a peeping noise but managed to get their food saftly on the table before she crashed to the ground. She popped up again as if nothing had happened, her face wasn't even flushed, "Your meal sir." She said, bowing. She then walked away.
Lotus wouldn't mind being dead; that's where the rest of her family was. She said nothing however and did not move from the spot where she stood. She had this odd tingling at the base of her spine that she couldn't get rid of.

Sakura spoke with the woman for a long time and then turned walking to the house and poking his head in. "Ah! I see you're doing better, good to see, good to see. You shouldn't pass out like that, especially when you don't know what is around you ne?" He chuckles and watches her with very different eyes than before.
Kashi sat up slowly, watching the waitress. He then served Akira a bowl and himself a bowl, before he began to eat. Maybe he would talk with that woman...She seemed nice, and good-looking at least. Just random thoughts really.
