*Dothreme looked puzzled, as it was the first time he had seen the drone show any emotion*

"One thing I've been trained, my metal friend, is that there is always another way."

*At this Doth placed his hand on the drone's shoulder for a moment before stepping onto the small craft. He than preceded to meditate in the rear, not knowing how short the ride would be. He listened to the lapping waters against the hull, and for the first time since he had joined this party Dothreme rested*

*Dothreme opens his eyes. After meditating for some time he reolized that nobody else has joined him on the boat.*

"So.... am I the only one using the ferry today?

*He patiently awaits a response*

In patience Draeken sat waiting for Derrek to begin. He was aware of movements outside the mansion, but they did not bother him right now. If they were hostile, the defenses of the mansion would deal with them in due time.

But other than a faint awareness of people outside, Draeken's entire being was focused on the unbinding that was about to take place. When Derrek began, he took a long slow breath to steady himself, because the sensation of what was being done was quite unusual. Even the memories of Old Draeken did not remember any such feelings as this. He had the feeling that this was going to be a long and painful process.

The knot was larger and far more twisted than the previous, but Derrek had expected that. He also was more experiences as to what was needed. The chalk and cloth constricted as before, though the weapons remained in place. Between them, all the fundamental elements were represented, holding the spell further in place. With their separation, it would help focus the spell when the time came to actually separate the two. Reaching for the knot, he began drawing forth threads and hooking them onto prepared binding hooks for untangling.

The pulling of the knot was something that was even more bizarre feeling. It wasnt quite painful, yet, but it wasnt pleasant either. He sat, however, without flinching. He almost looked as if he were sleeping. Or meditating even. He would need to reserve every bit of strength for when he was finaly seperated again.

This knot, for all its increased complexity, went much faster. Derrek's practice with the other knot gave him experience in manipulating the strings. Furthermore, many clusteres were nearly identical. If Derrek had to guess a reason for this, it was because of the relation between the subjects. Just as traits from parents were passed to children, so musy some factors of the core knots. Spreading more threads, Derrek continued his work.

Draeken began to feel slight pain at having his being plucked at in such a manner, but still he remained stoic and silent. He did not even begin to sweat.

Walking slowly through the forest, causing as little noise as possible, his tail wagging slightly. He froze, and his ears twitched, it seemed other people were there as well, he began to walk faster and looked hopeful. Breaking through he saw the lake, and a group of people already preparing to leave. He almost spoke when he saw the drone, freezing all motion in his body, even his breathing seemed to stop. His eyes darted from the people to the drone, and since the people didnt seem to notice, he took a small step forward, his breathing relaxed alittle, as he looked at the group again, and raised his eyebrow. "Excuse me..." he said timidly, "but I think we might all be going to the same place...mind if I join you?"

The drone felt out of place amongst all the fleshies. It also felt unsure leaving Eva in their hands. After all, if one simply looked at her they could see she would be ready to mate soon, and the drone found none of them worthy of mating with the little girl he'd been told to watch. Nonetheless, the drone hadn't acted violently towards anyone in the area, including Sparkei and the others that were getting onto the boat. In fact, one might even assume that the drone had plans of defending these people against whatever forces were soon to invade.

That is, if KB was ever found. For all anyone knew he was dead, having shot himself outside the Citadel. Such suicidal actions were common though, and thus the only hint that KB might've given up his villainous ways was the overwhelming silence that had spread across the land. No fighting by him, no hitting on people, nothing. The Citadel wasn't being bombed, children weren't being mutilated.

Crazy.

*My face is covered in a big hood, my hands entangled into eachother, I walk up to the mansion door and look around for a doorbell...

I feel slightly nervous, not really knowing if I'm doing right or wrong with this move, but convince myself I can find help here, or just someone to talk with.

Rain is pooring down on my clothes, as I remember the good times I had with the other Black Company members, before I started my roaming, before I lost my way,...

I walk up the steps and knock 2 times on the big door.*

Anyone here?

Well, the thread was all stretched out as before. This one looped around the room twice. As Derrek had observed and predicted, the colors of this thread were more mixed. There was not clearly a Draeken half and a Truinthil half. Instead, the colors were blended through the whole thing. And as such, they would need to be forcefully separated. This was the harder part. Derrek stood, still within his own protective chalk circle. Taking the Orb of Unbinding from where it floated, he looked to the thread. After a quick glance at Draeken to make sure he was all right (relatively speaking), Derrek plucked a single loose strand in the colors of Truinthil. Focusing his mind and magic through the orb, he pulled it down, tearing Truinthil's essence forcefully from Draeken. Aiyana's had been a clean severing and had left her incapacitated. This ripped through most of the thread, which even now was recoiling into two separate knots, so Derrek couldn't even imagine what Draeken must be feeling.

Not a sound eminated from Draeken, but his eyes did seem to be closed more tightly than before. The firm line that was his lips also took on a look of tenseness. Obviously, his efforts to keep himself completely stoic were beginning to fall apart. He remained still, however. The feeling inside him was something incredible, though. He was starting to feel, fuzzy, if any word could truly be put to the feeling. Like he was being torn apart, of course. But also, the feeling of seperation had a physical feeling to it that was indescribeable.

Faster than what was likely expected, the doors of the mansion swung open. Aethi-Naeh stood inside with a smile on her lips. "Yes. There are several people here. You've come because of the loss of the dojo I assume? If so, you are welcome to stay for as long as you like. There are plenty of rooms, most of which are on the third floor. Do as you like, but for the moment, stay out of the training room. There are matters taking place in there that could possibly result in a large scale disaster if interrupted. Other than that, I again welcome you to stay as long as you please. Respect everyone else who resides here and do not break things if you can help it." She smiled a bit more then stepped aside to allow the man entrance without having to step around her. "I can give you a breif tour if you would so wish it."

I...
*surprised by the fast reaction*
I would be very pleased if you would give me a tour.

*I step inside the mansion and take of my hood and coat, revealing my face to the girl but avoiding her eyes...*

Thank you for letting me in. I won't be much of a burden or anything...
*This feels alright I guess*

Do you know anyone by the name of 9-lives? I really would like to meet her again...
*A wave of melancholy rushes into me as I see her face in my head. A small -sigh- can be heared as I, again, look at the girl, still trying to avoid her eyes.
She seems nice I think, and while I look at her and the hall i'm standing in, I smile...*

Yves stared, completly agape, at the huge stone thing in front of her. That was, what seemed to her, the best way to describes the larger than life "house" in front of her. She shut her eyes slowly and squeezed them for a moment. Drawing in a deep, stable breath, she opened her eyes again, releasing her air.

'Nope, still there,' she thought, almost sullenly. She wiped the sweat off of her brow and took a step towards the doors. 'I wonder if I should... Knock... Or... Nah. Not knocking. A door that size has to be thick. Incredibly thick. Knocking would do me no service,' her mind chanted at her.

She bit her bottom lip, chewing on it ever so slightly. 'Can't... Hurt to try, right?' She raised her fist to knock upon the surreal stone.
