That is absolutely awesome. I've actually never heard of a fulte-turned-trumpet before. Clarinet, yes, but not flute. Go you!

Who says it wasn't duct tape? I've seen green duct tape before...
isn't it about time to invest some cash for a newer one? Haha...no. I have green electrical tape on the part that holds the trumpet together by the mouth piece. I wish not to have a new trumpet cause I could use that money on gas, food, bills, and other important things. My trumpet is important yes, but it is still playable..as long as I have tape to hold it together. I've had it since 5th grade and it plays just as good as any new one. If you said Duct tape then you must be from ohio like myself, but duct tape is too big to use. Scary, i am from ohio... See people from ohio know WELL that duct tape solves almost all problems xd

I play trumpet. I have a silver one, which I dont play often, cause It'll tarnish and all... We just got back from a football geme, where we played "Georgia on my Mind", "Are you from Swanee", and "Down by the Riverside". Anyone playing/played these?

The first time I listened to "Georgia on my mind," it scared me. I have two trumpets. One's silver, and it was my begining horn. I got a new horn about a month ago and it's a gold yamaha.

I SO wish I could learn how to play trumpet. I'm in percussion..and I've never played anything else at all. I don't want to switch..I'd just want to one day learn how to play something like trumpet.
