Joining Mink It seemed like the rest of the crowd had started growing quiet as Liam and Hiroshi had been talking. During the pause in their conversation, Liam began to hear strange noises. It was a soft sound, and he might have thought it was his imagination at first, but judging by the turning of heads he wasn't the only one to hear it. Memories of Leviathan came back. They too had heard odd sounds outside, different from these but equally mysterious. It made Liam feel nervous, then, abruptly, angry. His rattle stirred quietly, sounding like falling rain from a distance. How dare these....creatures make him feel like a hunted mouse scurrying for a burrow. What had they done to deserve this? He didn't know how much of the story from that crazy broadcast was true, but there were plenty of innocents here who didn't even know such darkness was capable of existing in the world before now. People who'd never lifted a finger to harm another. None of them deserved this. These things struck out at everything and everyone like a rapid, feral beast. Well fine! Let them circle and think they had trapped timid prey! Liam, for one, was more than ready to show these beasts that the "timid creatures" they thought they had trapped had fangs of their own! He noticed a group starting to form up by the doorway, determination and focus on their faces. He turned to look at Hiroshi. "I don't like the sounds we're hearing. Looks like there's a group forming up to investigate. I plan on going along, if they are. You want to come along," he asked. He would understand if Hiroshi wanted to stay behind, but it would be nice to have someone he was at least one speaking terms with along with him in case things starting looking dicey.

Join Mink in investigating the sound Aedus frowned worried. When he noticed that there were beings in the bunker who were now sick, he hadn't spoken to anyone yet besides Kappa and Niamh so he didn't really think about them being the bite victims. He turned to Niamh and frowned again when he heard the sound of scampering and Mink looking towards the door. He had already pretty much decided he would go out there and see what was going on, after all he couldn't really comfort the sick and wounded. "Do you want to stay here or come look and see what that noise was??" He asked Niamh. He shook his head and he couldn't help but think what he had just said was a bad line from a horror movie. He hoped he wasn't walking into a horror movie setting, but considering others had already been bitten there was always a chance. All he could hope for was making sure that Niamh didn't get hurt. He kinda wanted her to stay here, but then if something went wrong here he wouldn't be here to protect her. He sighed. It was up to her in the end, no matter what Aedus wanted. "Alright so coming or staying here Niamh??" Aedus grumbled. This situation was just gah. He leaned down to pet his little friends head and picked him up to snuggle his soft fur. Maybe after all this was over he'd give the familiar to Niamh since she hadn't gotten a chance to get a familiar.

Join Mink in investigating the sound
The little Fey swallowed, listening to the skittering noise. She stood up, and kept close to her friend. "I think we should probably stick together... I don't want to get separated if... uh... something happens." She swallowed again. Surely enough had happened for one day.
She spared a glance for the injured. They seemed to be doing worse and worse. "Maybe fewer people being in here will be better for them, too." Perhaps it would give them more space, and give those tending them an easier time, with fewer eyes glued to them. "I really do hope they'll be okay. Can you even imagine ... being attacked like that?"
She trailed after her friend, babbling softly to him. Because talking felt better than following in silence.

Joining Mink “ Kingston is right. There are a lot of what ifs in the world, but if you just focus on what could have happened you’ll find yourself trapped in a negative loop. Sometimes as hard as it is just focus on the here and now and what life you have” Vanna replied placing a reassuring hand on coco’s shoulder before turning to Kingston. “And you know purposefully well why I table dived” He stated glaring at the grimm but there wasn’t really any heat in it. “As for go fish, I would love to but I need to be glued to my phone. I… am... the Ceo of a business and I need to be able to keep in contact with them. Not everyone was able to get to the school. They’re safe but as their boss I want to be there any way I can” he told mostly for Coco and Eilwen’s benefit. Kingston already knew what he did for a living. Of course right after he finished there was a scratching sound. It was also around that time that He also noticed that his teacher was starting to look worst and he thought back to Coco’s first comments about vampires and zombies and the like. He looked over to where... what had they said her name was. Ah yes, where Mink was standing next to the door. “I am inclined to go out with Mink. While I think it’s a stupid idea. Sitting here waiting for things to happen really isn’t my style. However it’s not just about me either. I promised I won’t leave Eilwen or Coco. So if you would feel more comfortable if I stayed then I will stay put” He replied looking towards the others.

Staying BackEnomu had actually started to calm down, and was even thinking about going to pet one of the familiars wandering around when he heard the scampering like nails. His ears shot up and he looked around. After all, it wasn't the first strange sound they'd been hearing, but then he saw someone staring at the door and someone else seemingly trying to talk them out of opening it. Oh no. The sound had come from outside!
Ohh, no no no nononononono! All of his fur standing on end, he got up and scrambled, holding Kuroi and Shiroi tight. Oh, they were here! They'd found them! They'd found him! He began looking for somewhere as far from the door as he could get, somewhere he could hide. He knew he should be brave, he knew the right thing to do was to sacrifice himself, since the evil things were surely there for him after what he'd done. But he couldn't be brave, no matter how much he might want to be. So he tried to hide in the first place he found, and positioning his plushies in front of him, he curled up tightly and tried to pretend he was invisible.Investigating the sound Maybe it was her nihilist viewpoints, or the certain knowledge that if those monsters wanted in nothing was capable of stopping them, but Helja stepped toward the door herself. If it was the cannibals, then they were dead whether they opened the door or not, and if it was something else then maybe they would find something interesting. Either way, opening the door would make no difference when it came to their safety in her view, so why not just do it?

Staying Back Cuileann was sitting in the corner very quiet watching everyone for the last few hours or days she lost track. She hated being in this cramped area with so many others, it was not that she was uncomfortable with large groups it was due to everyone being on edge not knowing what was happening and why. Those that knew something was not saying anything and those who speculated just seemed to make it worse so she just sat huddled without making to much sound. She felt safe that way, why she did not know but it was how she felt. Watching the familiars running about keeping the younger children occupied kept her mind from wandering to much and put a small smile on her face seeing the joy it brought to those to young to fully realize the danger they were in.

Join Mink in Investigating Sound Lokni felt like he was going to go nuts if he did not get out of that room, he needed the fresh air as badly as he needed to breathe. He knew it was pointless to ask to go outside but the longer he stayed in the more pressing the feeling became. His mind was wandering on what was happening in Levithian, who was hurt, who was missing and the worse there was. He worried over everyone there and felt like he should have been there but instead he was here. His data collecting is the reason he was here and not there, although in a way he felt like this was where he was supposed to be for reasons unknown.
When the noise was heard he immediately turned towards the sound and was curious as to what it was. He glanced about the room and saw the same questions on everyone's faces, some had a look of fear, others had a look of concern, while a few others had a look of "bring it". He was sure of one thing if anyone was going to see what it was he intended to be right there with them. It would get him out of this room for a while and help in the process. He knew that his help was needed and so before he could give himself any reason not to he slowly walked over towards Mink calling out "I am willing to help you just tell me what you want me to do"

Staying back Chervil noted even as he absently stroked the fur of the vespercat that seemed keen on making a snug nest in the folds of his sweater that the presence of the creatures had done its work; people were starting to relax, and the entire tone of the room was more conversational and less hysterical. The only thing that pressed on his mind was that he couldn't help but notice that there was something going on with those that had arrived injured; it might have been his worrywart mentality finally kicking in, but none of them seemed to be recovering; in fact several of them looked worse, with telltale signs of an infection, or possibly even a fever. The sudden skittering noises set his teeth on edge and caused his hair to prickle; so much like gigantic insects it sounded. His mild discomfort quickly gave way to curiosity, and when he saw a group forming with the intent on going off to investigate the cause of the noise, he almost stepped forth to go with them. But then he turned and saw those who did not step forward; frightened freshlings and nervous students, not to mention the several who were trembling from something other than fear, something that looked as though it were ravaging their frail forms from the inside out. As curious as he was about the sound, he felt that he could be more beneficial here. The vespercat seemed to agree, claws digging slightly through his sweater as it faced the door with flattened ears. He walked around looking for someone he could offer assistance to, and almost missed the small form quivering beneath what appeared to be a very makeshift plushie fortress. Guessing on a frightened freshling, Chervil crouched down in front of the plushies and addressed them. "Hello there. What are you hiding from?"

Join Mink in investigating the sound Coco listened to Vanna and bit her lip, there was a new what if on her mind and she wasn't sure if she should voice it. Kingston and Vanna were right she shouldn't dwell on wondering if she could have ended up like one of those creatures instead of working her way to becoming an artist. Coco blinked when Vanna said he would love to play but couldn't because he was a CEO. "Oh, what sort of company is it??" She asked curiously. When Coco noticed that the ones bitten like Vanna's teacher friend had suddenly fallen sick, she jumped up. She was not staying in this room alone if her worst fear came to pass. Coco did not want to be near one of the sick ones. Though the skittering sound might be more of those creatures who might bite her and she might get sick too. "This is bad really bad, they were bitten by those things.. What if something really bad is happening to them?? And if we go to the sound what if we run into those creatures??" Coco shook her head "I know, I know more what ifs.." Coco said with a sigh "I don't want to stay here, I'd rather go see what that sound was." Coco had thoughts of zombie movies running through her head and the thought of being stuck in a small space with the sick scared her more than facing something in a more open space.

Staying in the Bunker
Foras had heard enough rumors about Sirius' classes to avoid taking them all together. He figured reading enough about familiar care would qualify him enough to take care of one. He wasn't very interested in taking care of them to make a living, just to have some around for the company. When Gany asked him about his classes he pondered for a moment. He had only focused on painting up to that point, but maybe he'd test a few other classes out.
"Maybe I'll try a theatre class? I could be an entertainer of some sort." He nodded his head, that sounded like it could be fun to try out at least. And if he didn't have the talent for it, he'd just return his focus to painting. That he knew he was good at, but it was also quite competitive. He knew a lot of artists that couldn't just live off of their work. Maybe he'd need to work on something else as a back up.
Things had quieted down a bit in the bunker. People were having small conversations in groups, sleeping, or just trying to be calm given their current situation. He had heard an odd noise, but tried not to think about it too much. then the noise got louder and sounded closer. Were their peaceful hours up? Around the same time many of those bitten seemed to be getting more sick with the passing time. He wasn't really concerned they'd turn on them or anything. This wasn't a movie plot. But, he was concerned with them spreading a possible disease they had gotten from whatever bit them.
To make matters worse, people were teaming up to actually go outside of the bunker. That, he didn't agree with. If that door was their only way in and out, opening it was like welcoming whatever was out there to come inside. And the idea of that, was starting to make him nervous. "Maybe we should head to one of the rooms that are sectioned off? I'm not keen on the idea of leaving the bunker. Really, anyone leaving. And I'd rather get away from those that are sick as well..." If he had any skills in medicine he might offer to help, but he wasn't talented in that sense at all. He was just worried for Gany's safety at this point.

Going with Mink
Eilwen was honestly so exhausted that she was having trouble keeping up with the conversation of the friends around her. She had leaned her head back against the wall behind her and the purring of the vespercat in her lap was about to put her to sleep. She chimed in from time to time to give her opinion, but didn't think she could focus on playing go fish with everyone.
She had closed her eyes and was just about asleep when she heard the sounds around them. She sat up straight after that, eyes wide when she looked toward the door. "No one's really going out there, right?" She thought that was a very bad idea. Who's to say something wasn't waiting right outside that door to get in? They just had to be safe in here, but as she looked around her group and others getting up, she realized they really were going to go out there. And so was Vanna.
She turned her attention to Coco as she spoke and then looked over at those who were getting sick. This was silly. Whatever had bit them probably was sick and so it was just an illness. Zombies weren't real. Well, not disease spreading zombies anyway. Necromancy was obviously a thing, but that hadn't been practiced in ages.
If Vanna, Coco, and Kingston were leaving she didn't want to be in here without them. She'd constantly be worried about what happened to them, and Coco was honestly making her paranoid about those who were sick.
"I'd rather stick if you all, if you're going out there. I'll watch your back at least." Honestly, this was terrifying, but she'd rather be with her friends.

GOING WITH MINK Kingston was all set to start playing, but then the sounds started. The eerie, creepy sound. His ears perked and swiveled around to try and pinpoint where it was coming from, but he couldn't tell... It was all around them, it sounded like. Oh he hoped that things weren't getting in the boarded up windows. He looked around as people seemed to be getting nervous and antsy, then Vanna said he was going to go investigate. Well, not like that surprised him. What DID surprise him was Coco saying she wasn't staying in here, and he was further shocked that Eilwen said she was going to stick with them. He smiled. "If we stay together, we have a better chance at facing... whatever it is out there." He slowly got up and brushed his pants off. "I feel better that you two are coming with us." This way he could better protect them all. He knew that Vanna could probably take care of himself, but Coco and Eilwen? Yeah, he felt they would be safer sticking together.

Remaining here
Adalyn watched various students and refuge seekers follow Mink from the room, while listening to the somewhat chilling noise that had picked up. She wondered if they were from those things that had shown up at the university.
As much as she hoped not, she had a niggling feeling that they probably would be, and stealed herself for what was to come. She glanced back at the injured, and positioned herself carefully between them and the door.

Joining MinkAs the nurse began tending to the wounded who appeared to be getting ill now, Kanako chewed on the inside of her cheek. What if the ones who were sick were infectious? Was it safe to be around them?
Ears twitching toward the sound of skittering, the Kumiho paused in her nervous chewing. She wasn't sure that it sounded like what they had heard before at the University, but she couldn't say for certain that it wasn't the same sound either. Looking at Mink, who seemed ready to leave the bunker, Kanako wondered if Mink had the right idea. Nervously, she began to edge herself closer to Mink, having decided that the ill students possibly being infectious was more of a concern than whatever the source of the skittering was.

This was the second time he had tried to hide only for someone older than him to immediately find him. If he was less dismayed by the whole thing, he might have thought about the fact that he was really quite terrible at hiding. He looked up at the dryad addressing him, certainly surprised by the question.
"The p-people eaters." He stated with a sniffle. He really had to find a better place to hide. Kuroi and Shiroi were supposed to ward off evil, but they did absolutely no good against anyone else and Enomu was starting to think he hadn't done the spell right. It had been so long since his father had taught him how to keep the monsters in the closet and under the bed away that he must have forgotten how to do it. That thought made him whimper. Maybe it had nothing to do with his memory and everything to do with him. He seemed to forget the dryad was there and his eyes filled with tears.
