"Alright then, this way." He led Alanna outside and down the path to the cliff face, quickly taking a glance back to the house to check the destruction from the outside. The second story was completely gone. He sighed, returning his gaze to the path ahead. "Lets head down the cliff face then, I'll show you where I was thinking of building." He continued ahead of Alanna a little bit, finally arriving on the path that led along the cliff.

"The path widens." He held out a hand to help her up, and led her down the path. A few hundred feet later, the path started to widen, and around the next corner, it was about 50 feet wide. "I was thinking about right here." He walked away, his eyes began to look at the area, as though he was seeing the building already there. "Yes, we'll have to dig a little bit into the cliff face to provide a little more room, but we could build something out over the cliff on this side... And there will be a dining room jutting out of a corner of the main building, with windows on all sides to give a great view..." Senstren quickly brought himself out of the trance and glanced back at Alanna. "Sorry, I sometimes get a bit too excited when I talk about my new houses.... What do you think?"

"I'm going to hold you to that." This new house was going to be worth keeping, and anything he could do to prevent it from being destroyed would be nice. "I'll have to add some extra enchantments to this one... Also, I'll have to re-enchant the workers who made the ship to work on the house." He looked over the cliff to the forest that stretched off into the horizon. "This thing will be done before half a year!" He said, putting his arm around Alanna. As he remembered her previous reaction to being touched, he slid his hand to pat her back, and then returned his hand to the pocket on his overcoat.

Senstren glanced down at his pocket, and quickly glanced away to hide his smile and slight redness that appeared on his cheeks. "Great!" He said, still facing the other way. "We can head back to the remains of the house, and alter the enchantments on the machine workers, now if you want?" He was extremely glad that his feelings were not one sided. Or at least, it seemed that way..... He suddenly really hoped that he was reading her action correctly.

Senstren smiled, interlacing his fingers with Alanna's. "This will look better in no time."

Senstren sat on the roof of the library, looking out over the expanse of forest which stretched to where it met the horizon, smiling. They had completed the house in half the time he expected, and it looked beautiful. Better than he had in mind actually. He had just finished up the last patch of the roof, and he was taking a short break.

"Gah!" Senstren's trance was broken as the rag collided with his head, and he rolled over backwards. He rolled onto the roof of the walkway, then, grabbing the gutter, swung himself onto the walkway. "What was that for? I'm done the roof!" Senstren said, sounding like a kid complaining to his mother about his chores. He walked up behind her, and put his arm across her shoulders. "Thanks again for all your help. The house looks beautiful."

Senstren looked down at Alanna and smiled. "Stop flattering yourself." He continued admiring her. For a necromancer, she really was quite attractive. Most of his fellow necromancers were hundreds of years old, like himself, and showed it. He had managed to preserve his youth (barely) but in doing so, lost some of his power. Now that he thought about it, he didn't know very much about Alanna's path to necromancy. But none of that mattered now. Now he was just enjoying her presence. "Oh, I have something to show you!" He suddenly took her hand and led her into the house, to the floating spiral staircase panels, up to the second floor. He took her into the second floor turret area, where he had been working on an special enchantment for the window glass. He turned to her excitedly. "Close your eyes."
