*I know, that's why I tried to leave it as open-ended as possible. Darxian reminding Xashowd X may be totally new and Darxian only giving Xashowd the information based on what Xashowd told him being a part of that. ((I for one like the walls of text. I'm an avid RPer on my main and I miss it a lot. I keep my posts short on X because I don't want to be given away by similarities in my writing style or monster length in my main's posts. ))
(I don't suppose anyone would like to update me? I'm a little confused as to who's actually still here or not and what's going on.)

Currently, X, Gypsy, Batty, and Xashowd are awake in the Safe House, anyone else here is snoozing or silent. Freak left when X came in, and when Luck woke up and got the details, she left in pursuit. Xashowd also found himself a closet a few halls down, made it habitable, and made it so that he can warp to either his heavily protected new home or the Safe house whenever he wants via Wind Markers. Hope that helps!*

(Basically what batty said. Sweet woke up with her arm numb because of the shot and slipped out, thinkin she was infected. Lady found out and wen' to go find 'er. Xashowd came back in, but now 'e's in his human form. We also got a light now in the safe room. X is 'ere too now. Slow goin' righ' now)

The elf wanted to protest, but she also wanted someone to go after Sweet Freak. "B-be careful, Luck and come back to us." It was the best she could muster, feeling sick with herself for being too scared to attempt such a feat. When the barricade was back in place, she set her grey eyes to Batty again. "Batty, do you have protective armor you can wear? You know, better safe than sorry when you change.

((He's writing at the semi-lit length requirements at max. A lot of the adv. lit ones and up require 1500+ words per post. I love the complexity of those plots but I hate the elitism and godmodding. I tend to go for lower level ones for fun except that they move too fast and have mary sue characters more often. In the end every level has its pros and cons. ))

X, lost in her own thoughts and guilt looked up after a moment, realizing the world seemed to have gone on without her. "I...I apologize. I was thinking on what your friend said in regards to myself and that....creature..." Her head lowered again and she thought of how best to phrase her words. "In regards to myself...I'm afraid I could be any of those three or nothing at all. I'm not sure...all I know is that if I do have any of those powers none of them have ever shown themselves to me....I always assumed I was just a human or an elf who went afoul of a magic spell when I was a baby or in the womb...but I've never met my parents so I don't know." X kind of chuckled and gave a shrug. "In all honesty I woke up about six or seven years ago looking pretty much as I do now. I was fully clothed and washed up on a beach similar to the one my cove is on. If something happened before that...I've never remembered, not even flashes."
X seemed altogether very unperturbed by this. It wasn't that it didn't bother her, only that it hadn't bothered her for a couple of years now. She was X, she had friends she had a life, that was all she needed. The demon however, that did bother her a great deal.
"If a fire leviathan is what I think it is...then your friend is right. We're all in great danger. However fire leviathan or not it's not here now and the grunnies are." She frowned slightly, looking down towards the floor. "There was a cure...and that is something we'll need if any of our friends were infected..." It was a thought she didn't want to face but as she looked up at her companions in the room she knew that they'd all have to. "We need to focus on the possibility that some...some of us may not have survived completely...intact. After that...we need to find a way to get out of this room because being here does nothing for anyone. We need to find lost stragglers out there and bring them to where it's safe, treat the wounded, and try to figure out how to put an end to this invasion before it gets out of hand." For the soft spoken woman it was a long speech but someone needed to say it.
Xashowd nodded. Like Darxian said, X could be anything. It was most likely something she'd discover herself, and since she wasn't too perturbed by not knowing, Xashowd figured it was best to leave it be. After hearing the rest of the situation, Xashowd mentally slapped himself for letting his curiosity make him forget the bigger issue at hand. "You're right. The Grunny situation is the bigger threat right now." I can pursue the mystery of Daenes and Leviathan another time...Though when I next see Spice, I'm giving her the answer to her question. I can do that, at least. Xashowd thought to himself. "Well, I do have my Wind Markers, but those only work for Wind Elementals. I try not to set too many of them down at once, just a few select spots, and I'm not sure if I can warp anyone with me. I've never tried." Xashowd explained. For all that he could do with the Wind, he had his limits. And now they were rearing their ugly heads at the worst possible time.
