Feeling Charl land on his shoulder, Vincent, while not looking at her, would reach over and pat her on the head. This would be his own way of apologizing without actually saying it. "You should probably get off of me, unless you want to be stained blood." he told her, as Vincent was still soaked the blood of the mob he slaughtered..
Charl smiled happily at Vincent as he patted her head. "I don't care," she replied when Vincent said she would be covered in blood if she stayed on his shoulder.

Ever since finding out about Vincent's current state, her emotions were stirring wildly about. She was happy, worried, exicited, and scared all at once. It was a terrifying feeling, akin to murderous butterflies in her stomach. Seeing Vincent the minute she got to Charlotte's Realm was something her mind wasn't prepared for it seems. It took sheer willpower not to throw herself at Vincent and hug him for what he was worth. She held in her breath, feeling the awkward silence surround them. It was only a fraction of a moment before her will broke and she ran to hug him. "I missed you. I'm so glad you're still alive. I was afraid I would never see you again." At that point, Reina looked like she was on the verge of tears.

Before he could even reply to Charl, Vincent would sense an all too familiar presence enter into the realm. One could tell that Vincent was surprised, just by looking at the expression on his face. Turning around, Vincent would see Reina, standing before him. As spoke to him, Vincent's mind would become clouded and a warm feeling would take over his body. It seemed that just seeing Reina, hearing her voice, had a profound affect on the boy. Once she finished speaking, Vincent was...well, speechless, he didn't know what to do or say. Of course, now he knows where his mother went as she must have been the one who sent Reina here. Walking towards her, Vincent could see that Reina was about to tear up. As he neared her, Vincent stopped a few feet away. Since he was covered in blood, he did not want her to see him, not like that anyway. So, he would turn away from her, but even that wouldn't be enough to hide the smile that spread across his face. "It wasn't that long. I...uh...was planning on seeing you......later." he told her, not sure how he should respond to her. "I'm glad that you're doing well." he added. As Charlotte figured, Reina was the key to helping Vincent, as just being near her was enough to settle his madness and calm his wavelength.
Charl watched as Reina came in and saw how Vincent reacted. She giggled before jumping off of Vincent's shoulder and taking off towards the house to give the two some time alone.

It felt like an eternity." It felt like nothing had changed. It almost felt like it was only yesterday that they were sitting at the diner, casually chatting over food. She even wondered when that chance would come again. "You must think me so silly to be nearly at tears over this. I just couldn't stop them." Reina said with a small laugh. It took some time, but the almost-tears finally stopped. "Are- Are you okay, Vinny?" Once it came out of her mouth, Reina could only think about how stupid it must have sounded, as if the answer was so blatantly obvious she shouldn't even have to ask, but the infamous quote of an old friend reminded her "Only asses make ASSumptions."

Vincent would glance slightly towards Reina, noticing her wiping her eyes. "I don't think that you're silly at all. I actually think it makes you even more of a caring and kind person." he told her before she asked if he was okay. That one simple question, was something Vincent could not answer. He was nowhere near being okay. He felt angry, depressed, guilty, loneliness. He would not tell anyone how he truly felt, not even Reina. "I'm....alright." he stated. I'm just dealing with a lot of things at the moment. "I'm sure that my mother told you about what happened?" he asked.

"Oh, um, I stopped by the store on my way here. It's kind of like a peace offering, I guess? It's just a bunch of snacks really (and the plush of a grumpy sheep that she was too embarrassed to even mention purchasing). I thought maybe we could hang out, just 'chill.' It's okay if you don't want to. I won't make you." Reina said holding up said bag. She secretly hoped he would agree since it had been so long (to her at least) since they spent any time together.

Vincent looked towards the bag for a few seconds and took it into his hands. Hearing Reina explain what was in the bag. Looking back at Reina, Vincent had a puzzled look on his face, "Peace offering?" he asked. "Were we arguing or something?" Vincent knew the reason why Reina was there. Why, at all times, she would appear before him. Despite knowing this, Vincent would smile and nod, "Sure, I don't mind hanging out for a little bit. I actually kind of missed hanging with you." he would state before looking around, "We can sit there, it's very comfortable." Vincent would be pointing towards the tree.

The words that came to mind after had caused her to blush a bit and want her to just hide in a corner. Her mind was almost like a blessing and a curse. She just wished she had a little more savoir-faire.

"If you put it that way, I guess peace offering would be fine. Though, I wouldn't mind if it were indeed a present." Vincent stated. As the two made there way towards the tree, Vincent couldn't help but sneak a glance at Reina, every now and then. For some reason, her being here, made him feel.....warm. It was like just being near here, just hearing her voice, did something to him. His mind would race back and forth and for some reason he got a little nervous. Of course, if he's anything like his brother, he will just write these odd sensations off. Noticing how Reina had blushed, Vincent, unknowingly did the same, yet again, he didn't know why. Once the two reached the tree, Vincent would motion for Reina to take a seat. The spot would be the same place he had always went, under the tree with its branches providing cover and circulating the cool breeze, this was the perfect spot.

She frowned but shrugged as she grabbed a box of pocky and opening a package. Taking one, she offered it to Vincent

Sitting down next to Reina, Vincent rested his back against the tree and watched as she took out the snacks and started sorting them out on the ground. "I'll try." Vincent stated as he took one pocky as well, before smiling, "You know I've never had one of these before." he told her. "I've seen many people eat them, though." Taking the pocky, Vincent placed it in his mouth and bit down on it. His eyes would then lighten up as it was sweet and crunchy. Sitting here with Reina, Vincent had pretty much forgotten about Mirai and everything else that had weighed heavily on his shoulders.
At the mention of snacks, Charl was there. While both Reina and Vincent were enjoying their time together and eating, Charl crept over rather quietly and reached for one of the boxes of poky while trying to not attract attention to herself. Thought the poor doll's arms were too short so she wasn't getting anywhere.

She soon joined in eating as well, munching on one pocky stick at a time.
