Brenda's glare relaxed.
"So... fill me in on what's been happening... Tim," she said softly, rubbing one of her temples. "I dunno if I'll go out fighting around Gotham again, but I can act as mission control from the cave. That's what I did for my Richard when he took my place as Batman," she said.

The writer with the camera looked back at the third. "Are you ********' NUTS? You know who that is? Your boy's about to get MANHANDLED . . . by a woman no less!" he said with a smirk, zooming in on it. "By da way, y'all want me to put this up on Youtube?" he asked, adjusting his baseball cap as he zoomed in on the ensuing a**-kicking.
Arell, however, heard confusion before things got zoomed out and tried to walk over. He was stopped by a giant hand from the sky, stopping him. Needless to say, Arell backed up and got back to the others.
The writer, still at it, zoomed in and fell about laughing. "heheheheheheheeeeeeee Told ya." he said, before cracking up again.

Tim sighed and scratched at the back of his head before he sat down in an exhausted slump. This part of his day was not helping him reserve his energy.
"We've figured out so far that there are at least two separate 'mainstream' universes... with smaller branches of each. So, where there are the 'Infinite Earth' Batmans, there are infinite without him, etc.... the verse with any League members is considered the "DC" verse... and along the way we met a group called the "X-men", who are from the "Marvel" verse."
He was pretty sure he got that right. Tim glanced Brenda's way from where he sat before covering his face with a hand.
"Frankly, everything's gone to hell with this mash-up. The Titans Tower is destroyed, there are people from all sides trying to take down anyone with a cape, the map is literally squashed together..... it's a mess, and Gotham's more a mess than ever. Luckily Catgirl and I talked with Commissioner Gordon today, so the GCPD won't be on our case as much."
After a while of talking, Tim started to obtain his serious 'work voice' he would usually hold with Bruce. It was mostly subconscious, and he kept giving Brenda the specks.
"The Batwave downstairs will have plenty of files that can help you catch up..... there's a lot to cover."

Brenda processed all this information quickly, looking to Tim impassively.
"What about the League? Clark? Diana? J'onn?" she asked, frowning slightly. "Where are they in all this?"
((Now, uh... For pacing purposes, Soulless and I have taken this exchange to PMs so you guys that are not finding this hilarious (me, Swampy, and Soulless) won't get pissed at us for getting so far ahead. We were just have so much fun with this... Heehee.))

Kai replied to oracle slowly eezing herself to the edge of her bed ready to stand, not eagerly but to stand regardless. She had work to be done, and in situations, sometimes there was no rest available... nothing she could really help. Especially considering the people at the manor and the craziness going on.

Both Tim's and Kai's comm's chirped (Oracle doesn't know that Nightwing's right there), "Robin, I assume Kai's up to speed on these murders too, since she's right there? It looks like, according to the M.E. reports here, that all these men were killed with a series of slashes -- five blades on each swipe. The M.E. also notes that there is a slight variance in the distance of each swipe. I'm also seeing notes from the CSI's observing part of a cut iron girder with the same pattern with blood smears. The CSI's noted the arterial spray at each crime scene being consistant with the M.E.'s reports. My God... whoever this is really can slice through industrial steel like it was butter."

The taxi pulled up to the Wayne Manor, stopping in front of the front door. "You be safe Mister Wayne. Take care of yourself." Jimmy watched Bruce get out of the cab and close the door behind him.
Bruce checked his pockets and looked at the young man. "I'll need to go inside to get some mon-" Bruce started but was cut off.
"It's not a problem Mister Wayne. I never turned the counter on." Jimmy tipped his cap and drove off.
Bruce walked to the door and sat there staring at it. There were many people in his home at the moment and he didn't know if he wanted to open the door to something he couldn't handle.

Damian hurried up to his "father", having followed the cab to the Manor, as the cab left.
"Father!" Damian cried, and there was a mix of emotions in his voice: Excitement, anger, a hint of fear... Regardless, in what was a considerably out-of-character moment for the heir to Wayne Enterprises, Damian nearly bowled his "father" over as he wrapped his arms around the other person's waist.
d**k took the phone, and was about to reply to Crystal, when he blinked. Where... had Tim gone? He looked to Crystal and shrugged, then put the phone to his ear.
"Kori? Kori, are you okay?" he asked her, and in his voice was total worry.
In the room where Brenda was sitting with Tim, she glanced down toward his communicator. "Who was that?" she asked him, frowning. "And I'm guessing whoever she's talking about is some new villain?"

Crystal walked out the room, sniffing around and followed the young bird's trail.
Crystal, unlike Robin, had kept her mask on and her ears and tail out and she followed her comrade's scent. She rounded the last corner to the back hall and stopped and blinked. "Who's the hot chick?" She asked Tim, her ears standing straight up.

Since Arell didn't have a minor trivialty as a secret identity, he kinda just strolled over. Hands kinda in his pockets (he drank all the coffee he had left) and caught up with Crystal. Doing a walk so slow and rhythmic it almost looked like he was walking to a Reggae beat. Not too particularly worried, he saw something familiar in the woman.

Kai and Tim heard Nightshade's voice over their respective comms,
"Excuse me, Oracle........I've seen these in Prof. Xavier's files. These are Sentinels -- Omega class. And whoever this person is with the blades, they disabled each of them in single swipes. I don't know about you, but in my book .... that means familiarity. I think our assassin here is from the same universe that this school is from."

"Most if not all the league members have been missing for months...-"
The first distraction from this awkward atmosphere was Oracle's voice accompanied by Nightshade's over Tim's titans communicator. He was quick to respond as he stood up from the chair.
"Kai's actually been sleeping off some snake poison, she hasn't looked into these files yet...... and, yes, I was wondering if there were additional files at the Institute that could help."
He looked up from the device to see Crystal and Arell enter.
"Um... this is.."
He glanced at the ex-Bat, who was still sitting in her chair.
"Brenda."
Now that his shock had worn off..... his brain started thinking in a different light. This was peculiar, to say the least..... not the 'gender-bend', but the appearance all together. All the other league members were missing. Why would the bat (even if "she" isn't "The Bat" anymore) show up now?
