What the hell?! Growling slightly, he took off after her, intent on getting back at the girl. There was a fine line between putting forth your best effort and just showing off. Dominic growled. ”It slipped….” He hissed under his breath, the only one close enough to him that would have heard would have been Darius, and that was only if the rushing wind hadn’t cut the rest of the world from the other beaters ears. He hovered in the air, eyes trained on Virgil; he didn’t want to move to upset his stomach too quickly, he knew at any moment he might just have to touch down to the grass and just stop. Every time he heard the slam of the bludger knocked into a target, he swore he heard the break of bones or a blood curdling scream.
The winds had seen fit to carry Virgil’s words down the pitch and towards Dominic, however, and fire emblazoned in his eyes. That bloody barmy git! He barely held back an animalistic scream. He held his silence, hard as it was to keep. But damn him! How dare he! He’d already heard the poison that crept along the grapevine—and now he was sure he knew where it had started! ”Shut your damn mouth!” He exploded from the other end of the pitch, it was all he could do not to fly right up to those goal posts and knock him down to the dirt.
He cursed, loud, slammed his fist in the air because he knew there was nothing he could do about it. He spun his broom around and tried to ignore it, tried not to see red. He spun around on a bludger that came thundering near and as much as he would have rather have hit Virgil, he aimed for Sergio, the first year that hadn’t hit a single target so far, it seemed.
...
And really, nothing could have topped off missing and getting hit by his own damn bludgers. Nothing.

Amanda looked at Virgil when he spoke and cocked an eyebrow. Vampire girlfriend? Obviously what the keeper blurted out was extremely personal, so the blonde didn't know whether she should give in to her curiosity, or if she should get strict with the boys. As soon as the keeper's words were heard at the other end of the pitch, a loud yell escaped Dominic's mouth. Almost immediately afterwards, a bludger slammed into the beater. Man, that's gotta hurt, she thought quietly, staring at the fifth year. "Alright, Virgil, it seems Dom's ignoring you for now, so you ought to do the same. And I mean it," she said, her voice stern. Amanda wasn't kidding around anymore. If things got too out of hand, she would have to deal with the two students personally. After a moment, the captain looked back at the chasers. Eretria and Edajin continued to play throughout the chaos, so Amanda decided to join in. Since the sixth year had the quaffle at the moment, the captain flew towards her and stuck her hand out to try and steal.

Amanda failed to steal from Eretria which either meant the captain was really awful at being a chaser, or Eretria got better since the beginning of last year. In fact, it was probably the latter. There was no way Amanda got worse. When Edajin stole the quaffle, Amanda nodded towards him. Half of her nod was to indicate how well he was doing, and the other half was to let him know she was open for a pass. Just as she gave him a nod, the boy passed the ball to her. The sixth year wanted either Eretria or Daniel to try to steal the quaffle from her since that would test their ability. There was no point in Amanda to even try scoring, well, unless she wanted to see if Virgil could take her throw.
