Smiling a little as Luc flopped over, Kiro couldn't help but give the Aerandir a playful prod in the belly with his tail.
He glanced up at Nyxa again from his crouched position with a nod. "Yeah, I'm learning a lot of stuff - about animals in general, not just the Aerandir. As for how long I'm staying... I don't know. Until I get sent back I suppose."

Luc was gentle with the tail, knowing how sensative the darn things were. Churring up at Kiro, the Aerandir had an almost adoring look in his eyes, gently resting a paw against the cat-boy's ankle.
"It's always nice to see new faces around here. I have to admit, I haven't seen Foenix or Fae or Inle in a good long while." With a slight shrug of her shoulder, Nyxa shook her head at Luc. "He likes you, that's neat. He doesn't warm up to people that fast, usually, in fact he tried to take one of Orian's fingers off and he wasn't polite to Syren until a bit recently."

Kiro smiled as Luc pawed his ankle, lowering a hand to gently rub at the Aerandir's paw with his knuckles.
"He's great," he said softly with a smile. "All the Aerandir I've met so far are. It's what's making this trip interesting." He glanced up at Nyxa, for the first time during this meeting with a bit of a blush. "Or maybe I'm just talking rubbish, who knows?"

Oh, Luc was loving the attention, just loving it. He wrapped both of his paws now around Kiro's ankle, surrounding him in something like a hug. Chirping softly, Luc was really hamming it up, but it was worth it.
Nyxa smiled gently at Kiro, "They're amazing creatures, I don't think you're talking rubbish. I was fascinated when I first saw Luc emerge from his jar, it was like everything was becoming real." Rubbing her hands on her upper arms, she chuckled at Kiro's blush. It was refreshing to be around someone who wasn't trying to get under her skin.

Kiro nodded. Amazing was the word for it. And he wasn't sure what made the Aerandir more amazing than any other animals. There was just... something.
He then realised Luc was effectively hugging his ankle. It made Kiro grin, and he then lowered both his hands onto Luc's paws gently and loosely, mimicing the motion. "I guess we're friends now, huh?" he murmured quietly.
He then glanced up, still smiling, but this time with another hint of embarassment. It was amused embarassment though, as he then realised what a strange sight he and Luc must look right now.

Luc clacked his beak in approval, nuzzling Kiro's hand with a gentle brush of his beak. Friends, most certainly. Unwrapping his paws from Kiro's ankle, Luc rose and plopped himself down at Kiro's feet, shaking the dust out of his feathers before slowly and diligently grooming himself.
Nyxa nodded quietly, finding the exchange between human and Aerandir to be just darling. "You two are so adorable." She grinned and put her hands on her hips, shaking her head in amusement. "He's never acted like that around anyone but me and Julian, my Tahnee kid."

Kiro rose from the crouch as Luc moved, smiling bashfully at Nyxa's comment, his ears twitching and blushing a little. "Really? That's kind of weird... isn't it?"

Nyxa nodded thoughtfully, "Mm, it is. A little baffling, too." She smiled as Luc finished his grooming and lazily moved to his little sunbeam again. "I mean, he likes Syrenrei, but he's never been that gentle." She shrugged and turned back to face Kiro. "He does like her Aerandir, though. But Osu is his favorite playmate." She smiled softly and glanced hat her watch, noting the time. "I've got to prepare dinner, you should stop by and eat with us sometime."

Kiro couldn't help but smile at that. "Sure... I'd love to sometime." He paused thoughtfully, before nodding with a smile. "I'll let you get on with it then. It's been nice talking to you."
With that he continued on his walk, extremely glad he'd decided to take one today.

Foenix walked quickly along the path, Nehanda doing her usual looping and twirling about in the air. They were heading over to Ieyasu's to make sure he had found the salve they had left.

Ieyasu headed down the path after Osu, turning to head in the direction of Foenix's house. He was intending on trying there first, and then checking into the community centre if that idea failed. Catching sight of a figure not too far away, he squinted, trying to make out who it was. It looked like Foenix - if it was, that made finding her a whole lot easier.
Now, he could see a little ghostly shape zipping about. It was definitely them alright. Nice one. He didn't even have to look now.
Spotting the figures too, Osu trotted on ahead. Not quite the head-on charge that he would usually have done, but he made his way there in fair time. Stopping at Foenix's feet, he chirruped in greeting, the blue-purple ribbon still in his beak.
Ieyasu grinned, lifting an arm to wave to the pair. Approaching after Osu, he stopped a short distance away. "Just the ones we were looking for. Thanks so much for dropping off that salve."

Foenix smiled as the figures ahead of her became visible; it was Ieyasu and Osu! How convenient. "Oh, good! We were actually heading over to see you. Glad to see you got the salve." She crouched down to Osu's level. "Feeling any better?"
Nehanda came over to twirl around both human and gryphon. Her giggles rose up musically through the trees.

Osu gave a muffled merp, nudging playfully at Foenix's knee. He was supposed to take this ribbon to her, wasn't he? Pausing for a moment, he then let go of the blue ribbon, placing it on her knee. Unfortunately, he didn't place it quite properly, and it slipped off and fell to the path. Chirping, he picked it up again and laid it back over her leg again. Ieyasu had said it was for her and Nehanda!Ieyasu grinned as Nehanda waltzed about, giggling. "Nehanda looks happy today." As Osu laid the ribbon over Foenix's knee, he smiled down at the little gryphon. "We managed to dig up a couple of ribbons for you - I hope they're what you were looking for." He held out the other matching ribbon to the other guardian.

((Whoo-hoo! Quest finished!))
Foenix lifted the two ribbons, as Nehanda happily flew over to twirl around the dangling strips of royal blue. "Oh, they're so lovely!" she exclaimed. "Thanks a lot, Ieyasu. And Osu, of course," she added, winking at the charming little gryphon.
Nehanda began to whirl back toward their house.
"Whoops!" Foenix cried. "Looks like someone's eager to get going. I'll see you both later."
