Our first thief/rogue wasn't as much interested in helping us out of our cells as much as she was interested in saving her own hide, by walking out of the cell room door and into a room full of goblins and an ogre I believe it was, though she may very well have not known balls about role playing, if thats the common conception of a thief then god help us all.
Personally when I played Bauldur's gate I always MADE either rogue or a druid (Rawr I'm a bear! blaugh The class stuck with me after Everquest), even if Imoen was partly one, the ability to locate, disable and set traps can come in very handy, as are light fingers if the need arises. Being too focused on the sometimes stereotypical "Ah Like Gooooooooold and shinies" version of a thief is basically making a pincushion.

Coldhands (and anyone else who is wondering): In regards to the current situation in the forest shrine, this is Laren's class quest to become a Warden. Once I am out of this insane deadlock of RL, I'll see what I can do about creating some small diversion for the rest of the group while Laren is traversing the dream world.
Also, small personal update:
"She said yes."

Also sorry everyone for disappering, I got locked up in classes. That and Tales of Vesperia is an awesome/long game... >.> I'm sorry I'm a sucker for the Tales Of games. If they were a tv show I'd totally watch them...

Thought I'd bring this up.
Character Development!
Aside from Tjaden, (and possibly Erron) nobody has really integrated *any* backstory into their characters during the journey as of yet.
I'd love to see more development (Subtle of course, don't make some random post about "Oh, this reminds me of that time waaaaay back.") from everybody.
Makes the characters actually mean something beyond just "Well, we're here, we're adventuring. Yay.."

Yesh yesh, Tales of games rock my world, especially when they dont look overly cartoony, aside from the 2D-2D ones. (I was not impressed by Tales of Symphonia, it seemed dead and empty in comparison with TOD2, TOD, and TOP.) I've been looking for it a while now, but to no real success.

Alright!
We are officially back in business!
Now, as we are waiting for purest_heart (Laren) to post to proceed with her story arc, others who are asleep may use this time to face *nightmares* of their past in order to develop their characters a bit. Selce, being a mage, has the option of assisting others in their nightmares, if she so chooses.
I will be doing a check-in 1 week from today. Those who do not respond will be given 2 extra days then will be auto-piloted out of the RP.

Brurag is active.
Laren has declined returning and has given me permission to write her off.
Selce has not responded, so she will be puppeted out of the role play and stashed away for possible future return.
