As if I wasn't worried to hell about paying for a good education [$45,000 at the University of PA! Fack!] plus med school.... s**t, man... And all that guidance counselor "you're smart, you'll make it!" is doing nothing for me... Network network network.
Make friends with people in college that are doing well, keep in contact, befriend your proffessors.
Really, that's the best advice I can give, in real life it's ALL about who you know and then about what you have on paper.

Actually that was the possible goal after Jan '10. Head out west and apply for wildland. That stuff is effing crazy.

Just a general FYI for everyone:
Please READ all the way through posts. There have been several discrepancies about character locations, and actions. I know that sometimes we miss things (Even I do) but we need to be just a wee bit more careful to avoid confusion.

In said cases is it wrong to ask, if someone notices it, to send the wrong doer a PM? I mean I wouldn't take offense to it nor take it personal. I would just look at it as I missed something...I would certainly appreciate it.
