"Fine! Do what you want. I am going back to the Silver", she said. She was the one needing protection? She didnt need anyones protection. She could take care of herself.

The black fire from before suddenly appears down the hallway along the walls, scorching anything it touched and slowly making the wall crumble. The ground in the underground market that they were in was now shaking and trembling, as the entire place seemed as if it was about to collapse and bury all evidence of things that happened inside. Pieces of the ceiling began to fall down from above, breaking into smaller pieces after hitting the ground.

"Damn it all. Hurry up over here." Ramas grabbed the magician slave and ran towards Kristin, He was doing a hand rote with his free hand. "Kristin if your going to make it out you better come with me then."

Kristin nodded and followed Ramas. "Someone wants us dead", she said, stating the obvious. She looked around her. "Where to now?", she thought to herself. She tried to use magic to keep the as safe as she could.

"out thats where. Just take a deep breath." Ramas grabbed her and finished his rote. The three of them sank into the ground. Ramas maneuvered them in the ground until they popped back up above ground. "Now that thats over with, where were we."

Kristin dusted off hetr clothes."I think I was on the point of leaving and you were busy with the magicians", she said. She turned to look at him. "Here we part. I will go back to the Silver and tell them what happened", she said. "What are you going to do?"

Ramas shrugged. He didn't know exactly where he was going yet but he knew what he was going to do once he got there. " I've got alittle family business to take care of. I'll probably be seeing you all alot sooner than you think though." Ramas turned around and started to mess with the bracelets on the slave. "Oh and tell everyone not to worry about payment for now. I'll make you pay through favor. But till then I say goodbye and nice doing business with you." Ramas couldn't wait to talk to Meryll. She was the only one who could help now.

"Looks like everything is safe around here now." The twins said as they showed up just as Ramas was leaving. "Do either of you know why the underground area collapsed like that?" Hiroko looked at Kristin first and then at Ramas. The marketplace above still looked normal, as if nothing below had even occurred.

Ramas shrugged. "Hell if i know but i figure its got to do with the guy that fried Fenix. Now if you'll excuse me i have some serious family business to deal with. " Ramas began to walk away then stopped. "Oh and you two can deal with this guy i guess. He was being sold as a slave but he's not acting like any slave i've met." Ramas pointed over at the Slave who still hadn't moved an inch, and walked away.

Kristin explained them fast what had happened. "So, who was that guy anyway? He said I was supposed to know him since I am in the Silver but guess what? I dont", she said and folded her arms. "Why dont I know him?", she asked them.

"A man in a rune covered black robe. That's quite interesting. I don't ever recall Firomis saying anything about a person like that... Maybe we'll have to ask him in person once we return to the capital. For now, we should all high tail it out of here, any minute now a swarm of guards will come heading this way." Hiroko looked at Kristin and began dashing down the nearby alleyways with Hayate towards the back gate of Thelmios.
