He chuckled. "As much fun as... other activities seem," He said as he swept her bangs from her eyes. "I'd suggest we wait for a later date, hm?" He stood and headed back to the kitchen without preamble. "How about something to eat before we sleep then?"

She faked a gasp and put her hands on her face in mock-shock "Oh my god, Did you just make a joke? The world's gonna end!" she gasped sarcastically. She grinned at him, then followed him into the kitchen. "and what food art thou suggesting; I doubt you keep blood bags in your fridge."

Bane looked puzzled. "Not really." He felt unsure of himself. He'd forgotten all about her being Lamia and the whole Night World. He turned back to her. "Not that much of a drinker." He wanted to hit himself on the head, why was he making jokes and fumbling in his kitchen?

Bane grinned "Well that solves that." He leaned on the opposite counter trying to avoid eye contact.

That was when Bane looked at her. He bent his head, "Anyone else, and I think we wouldn't be talking anymore." Then he shook his head. "Well, if you consider akward silence conversation."

She smiled slightly and looked at him "It all depends on who the silence is with, I guess." She walked over to his side and stared up at him "Someone quiet like you makes a silence an entire conversation, it was only awkward cause we viewed it that way, if that makes any sense." she said, second guessing herself at the end of her little speech.

Bane grinned down her, His hair falling forward just slightly. "You really are something else." He said as he pushed at her bangs again, which he realised could become a habit, really quick.
