ionno my mom kinda likds some of the songs, but i guess parents are all haters of the new world rock my mom doesnt really like some of the screams they do in their songs

I think that parents hate any type of music we like... my mom.. she can't stand my taste in music.... and I keep being told that my taste in music is going to send me hell. But who cares.... there just parents lol what more can I say.

My parents hate rock music period. They say.. how can you even understand what there saying. Apparently its obvious if you listen to it long enough you will understand it.

they actually have no reason, my dad says "what is that s**t" i am like "its my music, it rocks" he is like turn it down, i wait till he leaves and just turn it right back up. i think it might be because they yell.... lol.

I'v never heard of parents having a problem with LP but if they do its probably cuz their sound is heavier.

my mom seems to just hate numb for some reason. i dunno she just doesn't like it, and she hates faint and 100% of all the other LP songs.
i guess its just a parent thing

I just don't care what the hell my parents say about it... it's my music, they'd have to take away my MP3 player to get it away from me and that'd raise hell in the house

My mom loves Linkin Park, she thinks they're awesome. But she can't believe how their lyrics are never happy.

Mom likes Linkin Park and lets me listen to it but dad gets mad when he finds out mom let me listen to it. He doesnt like it because its rock and he doesnt like Rock music. Only oldies. ((Note: My parents are still together))

my parents don't care as long as they don't have to hear it.. My parents as far as LP goes just ask me who can you understand what they are saying, and how are you not deaf from listening to that stuff so loud. I tell them that it is not that hard at all to understand what LP is saying, and as far as me not being deaf I told them I am used to listening to the music at the volume that I do...

Uh... my parents still don't have a problem with LP or any of my other music... I have an awesomely incredible room. It's soundproof.

I an see why parents don't like LP. I mean, look at it from their point of view. They hate screaming and rap. A lot of LP's songs have rap in them, and a few have screeming parts, like Faint. So other than the alternative-style songs, like Numb, it's not the kind of music parents tend to like. Although I can say my parents TOLERATE LP.
