putting a hand to her forhead she closed her eyes, takeing a breath before opening them again. looking at Reks she said quietly. " well.. your here now.. " biteing her lower lip she mentaly smacked herself, stiffening her spine and looking at him. " your her father."
Reks, not hearing this, tugged at the statues hand again. the finger came off with a crack and she flinched, trying to put it back on before anyone noticed. she didnt want to get into trouble with her mom.. and she could already she Bain's frown when she found out.. balanceing the finger where it had been she took a large step back, keeping her hands neatly behind her back.

Sergei looked at Reks for a moment, then back at Bain. He cocked an eyebrow and then sighed, smiling.
"Well, then I guess I have a daughter. You realize you must both live in this castle now, I can not permit my family to live in anything less. But, Bain, does she know?"Sergei smiled and the room seemed to light up, he had something more to fight for.

blinking she stared at him for a moment, then shook herself out of her stuper. looking at Reks she tried not to smile, releived at how he reacted. " she doesnt know. its commen for a parent to be gone in the demon realm.. no one asked, and i never told her a name. she does know about you though.. i made sure of that." her eyes caught on the broken statue and she surpressed a laugh, clearing her throat she managed in an amused voice. " Reks.. has trouble with her strength. ill fix the statue for you Sergei."
wondering to the next statue she sat down, looking at the large figure with awe. twin swords drawn, the man looked feirce. lost in her thoughts she glanced at her mother, noticeing the amused look she ducked her head guiltily. of course.. mom sees everything.

Sergei laughed at the finger and snapped his own. A servant appeared and began to fix the finger with magic. Sergei knelt to be at level with Reks and smiled.
"You know that father your mother told you about, well, he's very close, in fact he's here with us. Actually that statue was made in his image."Sergei took a step back and looked at the large statue of himself wielding his ceremonial blades.

Reks stared from one adult to the other, trying to understand for a moment. finaly understanding she made a thrilled laugh and threw herself at Sergei, catching him around the waist in a hug.
Bain smiled, watching the two of them. most demons had thought Reks's father would be a demon, others knew better than to ask at all.. Bain wasnt very accepting of anyone calling her daughter anything but what she was... Heir to the New Moon, and daughter of two warriors. it made her happy to see Reks smile for a change.

Sergei was truly happy, he held his daughter close and smiled uncontrollably. He looked at Bain and he looked at Reks. He snapped his fingers and two servants brought out a long sword that had Sergei's name written in ancient Vamparic on the hilt.
"In my family, and most Vampire families, it is customary to present the next in line with a sword made and enchanted by me. Whether you use it or not makes no difference, it is the meaning that counts. I was presented a sword by my father, and I hold the other blade that my father gave to my brother to unite the two powers. I would be honored if you were to take my sword."

takeing the sword Reks looked at it quietly, then at Sergei. in a sudden movement she hugged him again, murmering " thank you.. dad." then she was darting off to the side, lifting and swinging it as she had seen many warriors do.
Bain came to Sergei's side, watching Reks with an amused expression. " well.. she did always want a sword." she shook her head, laughing a bit. " now ill just have to worry about anyone rude being near her." still smileing she looked at Sergei, looking a bit sheepish. " i would have told you before.. but i didnt know what would happen."

Sergei laughed, how could he have turned away family, it was not something he could ever do no matter what.
"Well, it only matters that you told me, now I can finally care for my family."

Waiting patiently, Viktor was in awe of the love affair in which his cousin apparently had with this woman... He was glad to hear that an heir was now appropriately placed. And, just as as swiftly as Sergei had taken this little one under his wing, Viktor would be sure to do the same. He loved spoiling children anyway.. Noting this to himself, he began making a list of proper court attire the little one would have to wear, and other things that he would issue her at his disposal... He smirked as his thoughts moved farther and farther into the daydream..

"But if you'll excuse me, I never finished speaking with my cousin."Sergei walked away and addressed his cousin.
"Viktor, I am sorry to keep you waiting. But by now I believe your mansion is ready. There is a portal in the castle leading there, I will make sure to come and see you. Oh and there is a battalion of men waiting for your orders just in the next room."Sergei walked back to his family, smiling again.

Looking at his cousin and smiling, he gestured softly by nodding towards the others....
But cousin, you will not introduce me to family? I wish to become one with the family as I had been befor-...
Cutting himself off, he could not believe how he had come so close to such an utterance.. This blasphemy appalled him...
I thank you greatly Cousin. I will await your orders at the new mansion. I appreciate your gratitude for a lost member such as myself... It is good to be home..
Moving into the next room, he summoned his men to meet him at the mansion, in which they would soon be taking up their battlements. With this, he stepped out, and stepped through the portal to the mansion.

Reks looked after the man, tilting her head to the side and takeing a step after him. catching herself she held the sword loosely at her side, the blade nearly as tall as she was as she looked up at her parents. it felt weird.. to be able to say that. " he's gonna come back.. isnt he?" she had caught what he said, and understood how he felt. it didnt seem right to her that he should have to be alone either.
Bain tugged teaseingly at Reks's baseball cap, saying softly. " im sure you will see him again. he is family after all, and familys stay together." she raised an eyebrow at Sergei, desprately trying not to smile.

Sergei laughed and patted Reks on he head.
"Yes, of course he will be back. We can even visit him later on if you'd like. Call him uncle Viktor, and later you could meet your cousin Gregor. Actually, well I haven't really seen him in a while. Your uncle Issac should be around somewhere, why don't I call him."Sergei called out to Issac and the sound of a person warping into the castle could be heard, following the sounds of large foot steps.
"Issac, my friend, meet my family. Bain I'm sure you've met, but my daughter Reks is rather new."
Issac froze, the child of the Latverious clan was most precious indeed. He could not risk killing her with a hug, but he knew her mother, she had to be durable, the daughter of Bain and Sergei. So Issac smiled and knelt down to hug the girl ever so gently.

Reks giggiled and huged him back, just a bit stronger than he huged her. "hi uncle Issac." she was thrilled, haveing so many family members.. her mom had always told her she came from a big family, she just hadnt realized how big.
laughing a bit Bain said kindly to Issac as she stayed at Sergei's side. " its alright Issac, you wont hurt her."

Issac held her tight and then let go. He was positively radiant with happiness.
"Master Sergei, I promise that as long as I live, no harm shall come to the young lady."A tear came to his eye and it rolled down his cheek.
"Issac, your heart is a pure as gold, and your loyalty as strong as steel. It is good to have you in the family."Issac stood and the two of them linked arm and hand bashing their chests together as was the old Lycan custom.
