Cairo finally reached the top of the last hill before the capital. It was calm now, but hours before, it was full of mayhem from where he was at the Arena. He wondered if everyone was killed from that cloud. Only way he could find out was if he went down and checked. So as he walked down the hill on the rocky road, he smiled. He hoped the King wasn't dead, but the water, wind, and earth members could all be toast for all he cared about.

When Ellen reached the castle she giggled with excitement. She had never seen a castle that was so big. As she took in her surroundings she noticed that the place didn't seem to be in the best condition but then dismissed it quickly. 'Oh well... this is still cool.' She then happily sat down on the ground and pulled her notebook out of her bag and began sketching while her cat, Kana, climbed into her lap.

Hrothgar mumbled and shook his head after scouting around for clues to no avail. He scratched his head and mumbled, "There's nothing here. I wouldn't be surprised if nobody even got hurt in this little skirmish. That's going to have to change. Nobody's going to start a war over a sissy glove slap duel." As he turned to face the castle his face lit up then a large twisted smile reached across it.
Hrothgar looked around the courtyard to make sure nobody was watching. He chuckled and dropped to his hands and knees to draw something in the dirt. As he finished the circle he mumbled some terran phrases. He punched through the circle into the ground then stepped back.

Ellen turned her head towards the loud sound that came from somewhere behind her. "What..." her words cut off as she saw the man punch the ground. 'What is he doing?!' Kana climbed out of her lap hissing, so she pet him soothingly hoping he wouldn't freak out.

The whole castle shook as a hurricane like gail shook it to the bone. Princess Illusion Paramore had arrived. She stood on the castle steps before the great door, the guards looked at her bewildered as she sent streams of air targeted at their heads, their helmets dented, and they slumped unconciously. With another fluid motion she made to kick the door from 3ft infront of it, and even though her foot never touched it, the door flew inward and splintered on the floor. "KIRO!!! DUKE OF WATER SHOW YOURSELF!" She yelled as she opened her 3 pairs of wings and quickly began her man hunt through the castle halls. "Xen! Princess of Water!!! I WILL FIND YOU BOTH! You will pay for how you wronged me!" Her speed grew as she combed the castle for any of the water nation.

Hrothgar looked up as he felt a hefty draft. Largely unimpressed, he picked his nose looked up at the castle again as it rattled. "Actually this could work to my advantage."
Hrothgar's circle shimmered in bright yellow and red as light burst forth from the ground. The ground trembled as ash and cinder burst from the crater. As the dust cleared a humanoid figure was shaped vaguely from an assembly of magma blackened boulders. It's eyes shown as white hot stones smoking with heat. Large reinforced eternium bracers floated where it's wrists would be. The figure immediately raised it's arms as it completed itself then turned it's gaze to Hrothgar.
"Welcome back, Smoldar."
The being of hot rock dropped to a knee and bowed, still towering over it's summoner.
"Lets cut to the chase... Attack the castle! Burn it though. Make it appear as though the fire elementals had something to do with it." Hrothgar turned his focus to his trusty golem immediately after issuing the order. "Come on, Obsidion. I have a great place to watch the fireworks." Hrothgar turned and walked toward the gate. He chuckled sinisterly under his breath as he left. With a few loud thumps, Obsidion followed behind Hrothgar.
As Hrothgar's order was received, Smoldar turned to face the castle. As it began a smooth confident walk toward the castle it held out it's stony hand just above a tree. A drop of searing lava seeped from it's finger and onto the tree rapidly igniting it and the shrubbery around it.

Dusk quietly climbed over the south fence and waited in the shade of a tree for her companion. Something WAS going on in the castle. As she reached out a hand to feel the earth she could hear its screams as trees and grass burned away. It still seemed hazy, what was causing it. Dusk had not encountered this kind of heat before, it felt natural in every sense of the word though, it utterly baffled her. She continued to wait back in the castle for the queen...

Valkyrie stepped up beside Dusk, and watched her touch the earth.
"You're an earth element, aren't you? What do you feel?"

Tala rode through the gates as fast as Makani could run. They skidded to a stop and she jumped off of the she wolf's back not far behind Valkyrie.
"What's going on? I feel the power of fire here but.... it's different. Not like any I've used."
She took a deep breath; the smell of smoke and burning pine filled her lungs. Someone was definitely trying to burn the castle to the ground.

Taun ran up behind Tala and Makani and smelled burning wood. Taun asked her "Tala what's going on?"

Smoldar began to glow red hot amongst the flames. It plodded up to the castle wall and pushed it's way through the walls melting through the stone almost instantly. It dragged it's hands about the wall tabards igniting the fine velvet and silk. Making it's way to a support pillar, Smoldar's steps ignited the carpeting spreading the fire to any nearby wooden furniture. It gave a good hard right to the pillar, sundering it and creating some instability.

"I don't know," Tala replied. "Something is trying to burn down the castle. So far we think it's the fire nation but.... I'm not so sure. It's not magic I've ever encountered before."
She glanced worryingly at the Castle which suddenly looked unsteady at its foundation. Someone needs to go in there and get those people out!

"I'll go." Valkyrie smiled at Tala. "I'm probably more help as a warrior, but I am a fire element. I'll last longer in there than anyone else. Except you, Tala. And you're needed out here."

Tala looked worryingly at Valkyrie. She hoped that she would be okay; they still weren't sure if it was multiple people committing this heinous act or a single person.
"If you need help, call for us."

Smoldar grappled another pillar at it's base and pulled it free of it's position. As it's hands seared the marble of the pillar, Smoldar took the pillar and smashed another one breaking them both. It took the remaining fragment in hand and tossed it through the ceiling and up to the next floor. Smolder pursued the fragment of pillar it tossed through the ceiling and up to the next level, jumping through the ceiling and leaving a fiery second hole.
