Eros stood where he was, unanswering for long moments. He didn't know what to say. For once he was at a loss for words. He didn't know what drove him to want to make Baylor leave so badly. He just didn't like the idea of others alone with Devinity.

Devi brushed the hair from Eros' eyes, then walked away from him, sitting on the bed. "You where jealous." Devi smiled playfully. "I dident think you were capeable of that."

Eros looked up in pain and shock.
"Why?" It was all he could force from his lips.

Devi laughed and got up, circling him. "You where jealous! You thought something was going to happen between Baylor and I and you had to come up here and make sure nothing did. And yet you come up here and nothing happens either. Hehe, I say I get the same either way." She walked away from him, sitting on her bed.

Eros looked away from Devinity. He had nothing to say. The accusing tone of her words cutting at him coldly. He knew she could be right. That could have been exactly what he was thinking. It happened so quickly, he couldn't quite remember. Yet somehow, he thought, almost knew, that she was wrong.
"You misunderstand my actions. you have misunderstood me many times this night. I have lost the strength for your childish games."
He knew saying that was hypocrytical. He viewed his entire immortal life as a game, a play. All others were his actors and actresses. Devinity was his ultimate primadonna, and he himself was the director and audience.
"It seems this act has come to a close. The curtain shall fall soon, and it seems my heart will follow. I wonder, shall this performance end as tragically as Shakespeare's most famous tale?"
The last he seemed to mutter more to himself that anyone. With that he simply turned, as if in a daze, opened the door and walked out. He passed by Baylor and Jusaku, unnoticing and uncaring of their presences.

Devi ran to the doorway. "Wait! Please!" She yelled...Her tone dropped to a whisper "I love you..." she stared at the floor, tears flooding her eyes.

Eros stopped in the middle of the parlor. He did not turn around, nor did he go to Devinity. He simply stood still with his hands hanging limpy at his side and eyes closed. His trembling lips opened just enough to quietly utter the simple words, "I know. I love you too, my dear Devinty." The words barely reached her ears, but she heard them. He walked out the door after that.

Devi dropped to her knees in her doorway, sobbing with her face in her hands. She'd never felt so alone, so trapped. It was her fault...He'd leave her as so many had. She wept on the floor, ignoreing her onlookers.

Baylor, not exactly sure of what the heck just happened, ran up to Devi. "Devi, are you ok?" Baylor put a comforting hand on her soulder.

Devi shoved his arm away. "Get away from me! All of you!" She stood up and slammed the door, throwing herself down on the bed and burring her face in the pillow, sobbing and screaming. "If you love me you would be with me! If you love me you wouldent leave me here!"

"..." Baylor went and knocked on Devi's door. "Hey Devi... you ok...?" Baylor asked from the other side of the door.

Devi threw a small vase at the door, smashing it instantly. "Go away! Leave me just like he did!" she screamed.
