"[Excellent.]" Katarra growled cheerily when Melissa confirmed green lights. She plopped her heavy frame into the pilot's seat, and scanned all the systems, checking them herself as she always did. It wasn't that she didn't trust the humanoid, it was just that she preferred to know for certain, that way if something went wrong she had only herself to blame.

"[I'm ready to go anytime. I never planned on stopping off on this rock, but it seems to have been mostly beneficial for us both.]" She grinned toothily at her companion. "[I haven't had a partner in a long time. Had one once... a Rodian.]" She frowned irritated at the memory. "[Bugger tried to steal my ship, dump my cargo then shoot me in the middle of the night, and of course we were in hyperspace and couldn't risk dumping out without reaching our destination...]" She smirked. "[So I threw him out the airlock. Course then I had to clean green slime off my hull.]" She growled irritated. "[But I'm sure we'll get along much more fabulous.]"

Of course she was only half-joking. She was serious about her ship, but had a feeling that Melissa was trustworthy in her trade, as much as Katarra herself could be trusted that is, which is to say...not farther than you could chew.

"[Right. Destinations.]" She punched up the nav computer, and scanned the list of planets in the area. "[Hm... not an entirely large selection.. What about Onderon?]" She asked, tapping the class with her paw. "[I don't care for seafood, but the people there are good traders at least, with needs for supply and shipping.]"

Clad in a miner's outfit and armed with a Mining guild ID and a vibropickaxe, Pash wandered the streets of Olmando, Ruusan's capital, looking for the Dark side presence his master wanted extingushed.

The Grand Master had spoken of a dark force on Ruusan, One corrupt and foul that sought to heighten the chaos that reigned across the Galaxy.
Pash was sent to find it and destroy it.
Simple enough.

The trick was finding it on this forested world. The dominant power here was the Mining Guild, meaning they took money from both sides of the war. That meant that, despite technically being a Republic world, the Sith had a prescence there.

That prescence was solidified in a Sith academy on the edge of town. Pash heard about it through miner complaints in the bars and taprooms of Olmando. Now he leaned against a wall and inconspicuously studied the Academy. That was the first place he would have to look in order to find this prescence. Simply sensing out the power would only draw Dark sider attention to himself. That was a Jedi Shadow no no.

Peering out from under the brim of his hard hat, Pash saw an acolyte argueing with a Sith Guard over a demonstration of Force aptitude. he stroked his chin and pondered if getting in really was that simple.

The trooper spoke to Shisstal again.
"Look. I'm kinda getting sick of you just hanging around here. It's been over six hours."
"Where else am I supposed to go? I specifically came to this planet to come here." Shisstal responded sharply.
"Well, there's a small town not far from here. Why don't you go there, head into the cantina, get a drink, and wait for this whole thing to blow over."
"And what if, while i'm gone, someone comes to allow me to come in?" he asked.
"Here's an extra communicator." said the trooper tossing a small device to Shisstal. "I'll give you a call if you get clearence. Alright?"
"That'll do." Shisstal said. He turned from the acadamy and began walking towards town. While he was walking down the steps, he had the strange feeling that he was being watched. It wasn't coming from the trooper but from someone or something else. Shisstal ignored it. He kept walking towards town but he pulled out a small vibroblade knife just incase.

"Hard luck gettin' in, eh kid?" Pash remarked in a rimward drawl as the Sithling passed him. "Maybe being Sith aint what you're cut out to do."

The corner of Melissa’s mouth twitched, barley noticeable at Katarra mention of the planet Onderon. Melissa was faille with the place, for it had been required reading when she was younger. She leaned over and looked at what Katarra had brought up on the screen and her eyes ran down the short list of planets that was displayed. Sighing she straightened back up.
“Onderon huh, I heard that that place has had a lot of bad juju.” She said as she shrugged her shoulders. “But you’re the captain so what ever floats your boat is fine with me.” Sitting down in the co-pilots seat Melissa started the pre-flight checks. “Shouldn’t take us all that long to get there.”
PostPosted: Thu Feb 07, 2008 5:06 pm

"[Juju?]" Katarra blinked at the unfamiliar word. She'd not heard that before, but she could extrapolate what it meant. "[Perhaps we should choose another planet then, I have no preferences in truth. Wherever we can get some funds, I'm low on credits.]" She sighed. "[With this repair, I need more funds or we can't afford to get into another scrap again.]"

Shisstal turned towards the person who spoke to him. "I was told to come here. Just because I haven't gotten in yet doesn't mean i'm done. I will become Sith." he told the stranger. "Why would you even care stranger" Shisstal asked him.
PostPosted: Thu Feb 07, 2008 5:27 pm

Pash shrugged and spat off to the side in typical blue collar manner.
"A man can pass on advice, cant he? I've seen plenty o' fellas like you try and get into that damn academy. Everyone of 'em thinks they're the next big Dark lord or what have you. But all i see is 'em wastin' their time. Most of 'em dont get in, and those that do dont even leave entry level positions. Like I said, its a waste of time. You're better off earning an honest living."

Shisstal looked at him. "An honest living how I want to spend my life. I may not be the next big dark lord but I will become Sith. One way or another. I will not give up that easily. One way or another, I will get into that acadamy." Shisstal said.

"Why, kid?" Pash asked. "What do the Sith got that would make you so eager to join?"

”Well if your low on credits Onderon should do nicely then. We can pick up a cargo nice and cheep and then sell it at the next port of call for a profit, hopefully.” She replied as she sat down in the co-pilots chair and put on a headset comlink.

meanwhile on Thule, calliga sat brooding in his darkened chamber, as Sith where given two. Transfixed by a riddle, calliga sat still on the edge of the bed, thinking over what he had be stuck with since Siren's demonstration as to what was done with prisoners.
There was power there, immense power. But the nature of it puzzled calliga.
Siren used Pleasure and surrender as the most effective tool he'd ever seen-If jedi burst in the tower that moment, she'd likely give up, surrender, maybe do one or two sith-like things to make it convincing, but allow herself to be taken prisoner.
Within a day she'd have them eating out of her hand.
Calliga reviewed the scene of the torment mentally, recalling how siren had summoned such moans and cries, and then skillfully withdrawn the source of pleasure, dangling the bait, setting the hook, and sinking it in.
Both those women now were reduced to giggling, submissive servants that would do anything if it mean they'd get a reward in bed.
Why!? All of siren's staff acted like that-had she enslaved them that expertly? More effective than any conquerer to date, teh Sith Seductress had taken over a planet and capital with almost no casualties, leaving them all alive to be her willing servants...
Disturbed by the scope of this, the Ascending Sith was left paler than usual and stiff with stress-what was going on? The raw bands of power holding siren's empire and schemes together where incredible, and the fact that he couldn't crack them scared and angered the Sith; His Evolution must go on, He had to return to his goal of power-he desired change, to be eventually the one left standing at the top of everything...
And while he had smiled and approved of Siren's torturing of the two, the Result was that after he left he prescence, he felt oddly unnerved-something dangerous was at work. If he didn't master Siren's methods and understand them completely, Calliga felt like something was stalking behind him, ready to pounce.

-Addiction.
Calliga drew in sharp breath and looked up. It acme in shocking wave-Of course, that's how it worked: Siren made her subjects enslave themselves; offering herself to them if they would put on chains of servitude, and addicting them in doing so.
Calliga flashed back to the twi'lek, who'd called him "master". It wasn't just a game, The Twi'lek had meant it; He'd given her great pleasure, and thus held what she wanted.
Ever member of her staff was addicted to pleasure provided by intimacy, which meant that siren ruled them, as she could give it best.
Furthermore, calliga realized something with a freakish chill. Siren had him, and was dangerously powerful to him: every time he took her, his power grew overall, fueled by the passions and craving of more...and he was very, very close to addicted. In fact, If not for the distraction provided by his nagging curiousity, he was hoping to be with her again today, as she'd been busy with the prisoners for two days straight.
Paralyzed, calliga realized a new meaning to the last, bitter words of Phayir: "She'll take your soul, and that object."
While not after the Holocron section yet; if she enslaved him, then she would have it anyway. And worse, calliga suddenly realized he couldn't break off and leave: he needed siren-for even though he was becoming hooked on her, the fact was he was also gaining a extremely powerful energy.
All of this left two major conclusions:
-Siren's teachings had to be learned, and he wanted it badly.
-He couldn't let himself become another slave (Calliga noticed abruptly that he was possibly the only male in the citidel...meaning siren would want to retain him bad, likely.)
The Sith held still in the gloom for a awhile longer, then cracke dit all with a rush of dark happiness:
Siren could be beaten. She didn't fight with a lightsaber, she fought on bedsheets. But she was still fighting. And it that realm, he could win, even if it wasn't his normal methods of conquest. Conquering siren would make her a slave, and he would then be equal to her or above her, and thus safe from defeat. He could also enjoy her teachings without danger. Supressing his reaction to reach for his lightsaber, Calliga instead began to think over how she'd loved it when he'd gone to her by force, and the fact that she pleasured someone at least once a day. Or close to it.
She was obsessed, and addicted to it herself!
By enslaving so many, not only was it her weapon, but it was also her weak point: he could dominate her by her own hand...if he presented to her a source of pleasure she couldn't go without.
Smiling darkly, Calliga got up, cleared of his doubts. Enough tarry; his future as a Sith warlord called, but first he would need to set up his own master-plan counter to Siren's.
On a Whim, Calliga scooped up the Holocron fragment from where he hid it; holding it out in front of him.
"What would you think of all this, him? Pleasure and pain fused might be potent indeed.... -What!?"
The dice-sized pyramid flared with light suddenly, and drew on Calliga's force powers of it's own accord, Shocking the Sith. Suprisingly, the Drain was less than expected, perhaps due to the increased passion from his times with Siren.
In a cloud of shadow, the ragged specter from before burst from the Holocron's depths, looking more pleased this time with it's crimson eye-orbs.
"Excellent. You have not only acquired Power and Passion, but come up with a backstabbing, underhanded scheme-!! I sense potential in you, boy....Much better."
The Phantom leered, smiling with a ghostly, fanged mouth.
Calliga regarded it coolly.
"Oh, Now you show up. What do you want, anyway? Don't think I'm a fool-I know the legends of Sith Shades. If you're planning to get me to be your pawn, better go back to sleep in your relic for a few more millennia...."
The Specter snickered.
" Very impressive. You are well informed. However, for now I do not desire a new body or such things yet... What you should learn, Young Sithling, is that Siren's teachings are incomplete."
Calliga raised a eyebrow.
"Hmm? "Incomplete..." ?"
"Correct. Time to see if more than air is in that swelled head of yours. Siren's tactics are Deffensive, passive. While excellent for Sith with feminine charms, you must alter them-You could perhaps be A sith warlord worthy to inherit my power properly; or maybe you will find only hungry shadows to devour you in the dark-such is the risk of power."
Calliga waved his hand dismisively.
"Spare me the Dark Foresights; Old One. In fact, I have no time to play..."
Calliga suddenly drew his Lightsaber, The firey blade throwing the room into a red haze. Cleverly, Calliga did not threaten the Holocron's shade, but instead turn it on the Holocron itself. Dead serious with menace, Calliga questioned the Phantom of Tulak Hord.
"Tell me what you know, Ghost. Or I'll smash this artifact and find another one. If you aren't useful, I have no reason to keep you. Now get useful or return to nothingness."
The Specter frowned, irritated.
"Watch yourself, Boy. Though dead, I still wield the infinite power of the Dark Side...!"
calliag laughed mirthlessly.
"I'll bet. I think I can kill this Holocron before you can kill me, and as a Living being, I can recover. Care to talk now?"
"Fine! Think Agressive, Fool! Allure and appeal befit a Sith female; you are one who Conquers to get what he wants! Make Her "passion" into a weapon!" The specter snarled before vanishing back into the Holocron.
Calliga shut of his saber and stowed the device.
"I see....A weapon. ....I see, indeed...."
Calliga remarked before walking to the wall panel. and sending a message for Siren.
"Mitress Siren, I know you must be busy and/or tired from the...ah, Conversion, of those two recently. However...I find myself in want of company. Therefore, May I offer to... test the loyalty... of those two for you? It would seem ideal. If anything is....uncorrected, I can deal with it for you, and make sure they permenately ready to serve you..."
Secretly, Calliga wanted them for more than just that-he wante dto test his theory-if he was to beat siren at her own game; to come up with his own brand of her style, then he'd need to practice, first.

Koren's landing on Mandalore was far overdue. Although it was not his natural planet, he had a strange longing for it's air, its feel. Though his being Mandalorian was surely reason enough. His first stop was the mechanics booth, to let them know of the repairs Koren's ship required.

Soon after that business was concluded, he removed his helmet. He took a brisk stroll amongst the people, headed towardshis favorite Inn.
PostPosted: Thu Feb 07, 2008 6:00 pm

A large armored form passed infront of Koren and blocked his path before he could travel much further.
"Su'cuy, vod'ika." Cen said in a low tone that implied either pleasre or extreme anger. Unfortunately it was hard telling which it was.
"I've been waiting a long time for you to show up..."

I recognize that sweet voice... Cene! It's wonderful to see you!

He was almost overjoyed at seeing another member of his Clan, especially one he knew so well. He lunged forward and grabbed her, giving her a large hug. It was alittle odd and not something usual, but he didn't care at the moment. He pulled back and gave a big, bright smile.

How goes the hunting, dearest sister?
