"So... this thing, although without the advantage Legion has of like one thousand, is just as powerful as the aforementioned demon-man? That's fairly cool. If I could learn to get this sucker around, I'd increase in usefulness tenfold. The big question is, how is it done? I'm not a demoniac. Robert is not a demoniac. And you called this thing a demon. So... how does that work out?"

"Well, demon isn't a very precise term. It covers all forms of troublemakers, evil beings, and corruptors from most belief systems, most oni, and a big variety of other spirits," Alan informed him. "Let's just say, it isn't a very precise term. He's more of a Shadow-slash-Elementalism incarnation than a full-on demon; he's just a spirit who is inherently... ah... not nice. As for how to summon him, I imagine the book would explain that.
"As for the power issue, only a few of the demons Legion is corrupted by actively remain with him at a time; he does, however, contain several of the Farthest Fallen, the fourteen most powerful demon lords. If Legion were to bring those and his most powerful others to the front, he would be of a godly amount of power... but he has to worry about burning out his body. It can only take so much between the strain of his variable nature and the beings within him. He has to take a new host whenever he does run it out..."

Kayla had been sitting quietly for some time now, and the crate of assorted citrus goodies was digging into her shins where she had wedged behind the seat in front of her. She picked one orange out and leaned forwards to place it in the driver's seat cup holder, next to Alan. "I heard you're a citrus fan." She grinned awkwardly, then leaned back into her seat. "Anywho, I'm gonna make a trip to hell before Puglith and Oscurfilius think I'm ungrateful. If we get there before I'm back, you should be able to lead me inside by the hand, I'll sort of sleepwalk after you. Mind I don't hit any walls though. Ah...wait, would Legoin notice if I made the trip?"

Paul slapped himself. "Good point. It should be in there." "Why not?"
"You say nothing of it."
"Who would it have been?" him in another passage further down the way. If you really wanna summon him, you have to build him a body first.> "Wait. I thought he did that himself."
"He doesn't already have a body?"
"Curious."
"So... he doesn't assist you at all?"
"Fascinating. I presume this would take a lot of effort?"
"Again, fascinating. So once it was beginning, he could balance it, pull it together, and inhabit it, and he probably would?"
"How do you contact him?" Robert crowed in victory.
"By the way, Kayla, I'll make sure you get inside," he added, only partially paying attention to her. "Walls are bad," he added subconsciously.

"Legion would not likely know; he rotates the demons about once every half-year or so, Alan reports," Josh answered. "We have a good five months before his next switch-up. I- Alan, what the hell?"
Alan's hand was hovering near the citrus, groping around for it as he drove down a freeway at the mediocre speeds the traffic demanded.
"Oh, for ******** sake," he muttered. "Let me get it." Josh grabbed the orange and handed it to him.

Kayla grinned. "Excellent." She pulled the crate onto her lap and closed her eyes. Before long, she had dropped into a trance and had slumped against the door, seemingly asleep.
She opened her eyes in hell, facing the same old gates and holding a crate of oranges in her hands. This time, she entered without hesitation. The atmosphere felt less oppressive to her now. said Vassily. Apparently she had been thinking loudly again. As she sought out her two demons, she realized that the crate no longer seemed heavy to her. All the way that they'd walked from the grocery store to the car, she'd switched the bag containing the crate from hand to hand to alleivate the strain, but here she hardly felt it. She reached the area of the town where Puglith and Oscurfillius were most often found, and was immediately distracted by the fact that almost everything was on fire. This included the area where her two demons were standing shoulder to shoulder, facing a demon whose black skin was cracked up and down his body, revealing an inner oven of flames. His glowing eyes set on Kayla as she rounded the corner, and a white-orange grin split his face nearly in half. "So, this is the human girl-child that bought your dignities so easily. Let's see if she's worth the fuss." Before Kayla could manage a 'Wait-a-minute-what-is-this-can't-we-just-talk?', her was charging at her, throwing fireballs and roaring like a wildfire. Kayla dropped the crate and dove to the left, tipping over one of the tables of the al-fresco cafe that some poor, misinformed soul had set up in this district of Hell. She waited there for a pause in the blasting.
Vassily started to speak again, but was interrupted when a break in the blasting fanally arrived. Kayla ducked out from behind the cover of the table. "It's a shame that we have to meet like this." She hoisted a grin over her face, even as her heart was hammering her fear against her ribs. "My name is Kayla. And you are?" Her mind was buzzing. She could see his shoulders tensing up for another attack. Vassily had said she could still use magic in Hell. She didn't quite know what that meant, but she had an idea that was worth a try. "Erta," spat the demon. He drew his breath in, and then literally spat at Kayla, in the form of a giant ball of fire. Reacting almost instinctively, Kayla pulled her magic flow to the skin of her hands, something she wouldn't have been able to do on Earth, and pressed her palms together in front of her face, fingers pointing at the fireball. As the missile made contact with her hands, she pulled them apart, splitting the fireball down the middle and letting it careen harmlessly into the ground on either side of her. She breathed out, having not realized that she had been hloding her breath. It had worked. And now she knew what to do. She began strolling casually towards the demon. "Erta. Good name. Well, I see you've had a bit of a falling out with thses two fine gentlemen." She gestured with one miraculously unburnt hand at Puglith and Oscurfillius, who were standing there looking bemused and indifferent, respectively. "I'm afraid that I take issue with that. Quite a lot of issue actually. I really don't like it when people threaten those that I care about." She shrugged apologetically. Erta stepped back as she walked towards him, tripping over the crate of oranges and landing flat on his a**. In a moment of inspiration, she ran forwards. Erta cringed away for a long moment, before cracking an eye and seeing that Kayla was standing with her hand outstretched. "You know," she said. "I really hate making enemies. I'd hate to have to call a firestarter like yourself anything other than 'friend'". "What's in it for me?" asked Erta after a moment's hesitation. "You get to see Earth. Some interesting things are happening up there these days. It's worth a look-see. And you get to fight against Legion." She knew immediateley that she'd daid the right thing. A murmur ran through the sparse crowd of demons who'd gathered to watch the fireworks. Apparently, Legion was less than popular around here. "If I get to damage that officious b*****d...very well" Erta grasped Kayla's hand and pulled himself into a standing position. She was caught slightly off gaurd, and didn't bolster the magic in her hands quite soon enough. She felt the skin around her wrist singing, and fought to keep her face under control. "Excellent. I expect I'll be seeing you again soon, then" She bent down, biting the inside of her cheek to stop herself from crying out, and picked up the crate. It felt very heavy to her now, and she realized that she was going to snap into the human world soon if she wasn't careful. She walked over to her to original demons and handed the crate to Puglith, who grinned lopsidedly.
In the car, the oranges and crate vanished with a pop, and a burn etched it's way round Kayla's wrist.

"Woacrap," Paul exclaimed before he could contain himself. The burn looked kinda bad. But Paul wasn't a healer; there wasn't a lot he could do. "The oranges have reached Hell, it would seem. And... she got hurt. I suppose when you wander around it demon territory, that happens."

Kayla snapped back to wakefulness and immediately began cursing loudly. "******** hell, this hurts like a b***h. s**t, s**t, s**t, what the ******** dumbshit idea was it to have burns hurt this damn much? a*****e..." Tears had sprung into the corners of her eyes as she let out the pain she'd been holding in since she'd recieved the burns in question. She leaned back in her seat, trying to breathe evenly. She wasn't used to pain, not real pain, and demonic burns definately qualified. She barely had space to reflect on what she'd done in conquering a demon on his home turf, or on the demons' reactions when she'd mentioned that she was fighting against Legion.

((Whoo. Freed up a couple minutes before Calc))
Legion clapped his hands together.
"So," he began, waiting for a zombie in front of a door to open it. It led to the exact training room that was certainly not through that door. "We're going to begin an exercise. I want you to do everything in your power to inflict damage on my body in any way, shape, or form." The door closed behind them. "I will not attack back. Now. Hit me."

((Still... stuck... making up... crap... for unneeded fillers...))
*Ring, ring* Siber dropped the dæmon he had like it was hot. *Boodly-doop* He fumbled through his pockets for the source of the noise. It would only get progressively more embarrassing until... "Arabian niiiiiiiiyiyiyiyiights, like Arabian daaaaaays..." "ahem, um..." He snatched it before it switched over to other Disney movies' music.
<***** checked the caller ID and only saw a number. "Hello?" "Hello, Siber." Siber grinned at the voice. "Captain Sparrow!" The grin faded. "What I mean, of course, is 'Who the Hell are you?' It just came out weird." "No worries, becoming a Warlock can begin to grate on one's nerves, I understand. So, how've you been?"
Siber continued before his uncle could pick up on the hesitation. "Fairly well, considering the times. What are you doing in L.A.?" "Ha-hah, always quick, weren't you? Funny story, that- one you don't get to tell your mother." "She thinks I'm dead. Or kidnapped, one of those." "Right, right. Well, just thought I'd drop you a line; maybe we'll chat later. If you see me on the street, feel free to talk. Just take the usual precautions." "Yes, Sir." "And don't call me 'Sir,' boy." Siber grinned. "Yes, Sir." They hung up. Keldan was pointedly silent for a few moments.

Linda looked over at Siber, maintaining a flame orbiting her as she asked, "What was that? Both the ringtone, the 'Captain Sparrow' comment, and... just, yeah. Mainly the ringtone."
