Turning to face the new challenger, Tai grinned underneath his polished iron mask. However, he had a better idea.
"Why don't I kill both of you?" he said, smirking at his own power.

"Because... I will seperate the two of you..." The man said, and waved his right hand, causing a wall of black energy to rise from between Tai and Elais... Then the man rose his right hand into the air, and said, "Two stars of Calamity shine in the heavens... Together... they form the Calamity Sword!" A longsword with a golden blade, and a green gem set into the blade materialized, and gently floated down into his hand... "I am Marcus... the weilder of the Sword of Calamity... and I will defeat you!"

Tai grinned evilly as he removed his helmet, letting it drop to the ground. A white liquid seemed to be pulled from the surrounding air and attached itself to the left side of his face, hardening into a material similar to bone, yet greater than steel. It had formed half of a hallow mask, and the proccess continued slowly from there. An dark energy exploded from inside Tai, surrounding himself, and even his sword.
"Let's dance," he said in a voice different from his normal one.

Marcus grinned, and readied the Sword of Calamity, and glowed with a purple and golden light... "Yes... let's dance." Marcus charged toward Tai, and swiped at him...

In a flash, the Dragon Katana Tai weilded was up and pressed against the opposing sword, having parried the incoming blow. Tai pushed harder so that his face was within a foot of his new enemy's.
"You're gonna have to do better than that." he said, laughing maniacley.

Marcus grined, and said, "Heh... foolish one, you've played right into my hand..." Marcus grabbed Tai's chest with his left hand, as it glowed with a bright white, searing light!

"Or have I?" he said, grinning evilly.
His armor helped against the light. Tai grabbed a hold of the man's sword carefully, yet firmly, pulling back his own sword and placing it in the position of being able to stab Marcus, should he decide to thrust forward.

Marucs grined, as Tai foolishly grabbed the Sword, for as soon as he did, his skin started to feel as though he was on fire...
"Fool. I still have the upper hand..." Marcus said, as he and the sword turned into a shadowy pool, and then, rose behind Tai, and had the Sword at his neck. "Game Over."

Tai turned his head, still grinning evilly.
"I don't think so," he said with a small laugh.
He grabbed ahold of the arm the man used to hold the sword, gripping tightly. He then switched the position of his katana so that it was ready to stab into the man, stepping aside a bit, so that it would hit himself as well. Thrusting it backwards, towards the man's pelvis, Tai looked on to the end of this battle. To him it was clear that he would win, seeing as he had the territorial advantage. This Lyte scum had wandered into the wrong kingdom to pick a fight.

As Marcus fell, he said, "No... I will not die yet... not yet..." The two runes on his hands glew with an unearthly light, the right one glew purple, while the left one glew gold... He then rose up, and rushed toward Tai, and yelled out, "Darkness Slash!!!" He then ran through Tai, slashing him with the Sword... "I avoided your Vitals... you'll live... but... farewell." Marcus raised his hands, as Tai glew with a mysterious light... and warped away...

Tai's eyes narrowed as he realized he had lost, and blood burst from his body. He fell to his knees, and let our a loud, inhuman cry, half roaring, half screaming. The hallow mask shattered, and the black that covered the whites of his eyes receeded, taking away the yellow of each iris, and leaving them thier normal red.
