i've been made of a lot but not usually for my sexuality, although i've been hit in the face at a party before by a guy who found out i was bisexual. wtf. i came out to everybody when i was 14 in 9th grade so all through high school everyone knew. i did get hit on a lot and have many girlfriends and all though. i was always very proud of my sexuality and my girlfriends so i guess you could say i didn't get f***ed with a lot because i was overtly open. i'm just a loud flamboyent girl to begin with. biggrin

i'm not saying i didn't have girl troubles or any of that but being made fun of for that wasnt the major issue for me in high school, it was having food and money thrown at me and my property destroyed because the jocks and cheerleaders hated me. (something to know about my high school, its a middle to upper class town where everyone has money and bad kids dont get suspended because their parents give money to the schools. there were only a few crowds, the jocks and stuck up cheerleaders, and the "freaks" which includes everyone else (being band kids, goth kids, punk and skater kids, etc.) and there were absolutely no minorities at all excpet maybe 5 black kids and a few korean girls that were transfer students.

UGH I HATE MY TOWN FOR THIS!

I've always I guess have been semi feminin for a guy and I used to always get made fun of because people thought I was gay since I got along with girls well (although I still had crushes on a couple of them,) I get easily freaked out by spiders, insects and snakes, I'm not overly masculin (I had man boobs for years from being overweight) and I've always been pro LBGT and I tell people that there idiots if they use "gay" "f**" or "f*****t" as a insult.

Plus I've heard that I walk a bit feminin xd

Hey.. Theres nothing wrong with that! *watches you walk*

Just recently i let slip tat i was bi to the wrong person and now she thinks its a big insult to call me "gay" or "dyke" or "f*****t". Truth be told.. no one believes her ^.^. Most of my friends know that I'm bi and they have no problem with it, and they treat me the same as they always have, some a little better. I have gotten used to the insults in my career at school so nothing bothers me, I just look at them and laugh. But we as a whole are too scared to start a pro LBGT group because of our mainly "radical catholic the always have to follow what ever the bible says" people. So we just stay together and silent.

Heh.. yea.. made fun of is an understatement. I live in Baptist Florida, very close to Alabama and Georiga.. There are enough red necks (no offence) and the like to swam my high school and kill everyone of us with bad breath (yet again, no offence). I haven't come completely out, because if I do, my life might me in danger. Thats how bad it is. There is still a thriving Ku Kluz Klan ((KKK for you who don't know what that is)) organization down the street from me, like I'm going to come out!

Bob. I am.

I'd assume alot of us have been made fun of at some point in time. We all went to or go to school, we're all different and people seem to not like different.
Truth be told, ta hell with people that don't like you for who you are 3nodding . That makes them shallow and they will get their comuppance. And yes before I get any more off topic, I have been and still do get picked on. Alot. But you just need to let it bounce right off, don't even acknowledge the person immature enough to pick on you. wink

i've been made fun of from preschool through my junior year of high school because of a slight disability i have. no one was aware of my bisexuality for the main simple fact is that i wasn't really aware of it until nearly 2 years ago, but i graduated before that. i however told my ex-husband, which was a mistake, and he kept asking me when he was going to get to watch or join in on the fun. sick son-of-a-b***h. i hate him scream

I've been made fun of at school for various reasons. I have been called rude terms plenty of times. I have dealt by fighting back physically as well as through language, and going to authorities. Unfortunately, the same way never works forever, and I ran out of ways, and I ended up going to a different school just for fifth grade, which didn't make much of a difference in the end.

Not at all. The worst reaction I've received is shock or surprise. There are enough strong non-straight girls at my school to be accepted, no problem. My girlfriend, for instance, and a very kickass lesbian girl I'm acquainted with. She and her girlfriend are also very open about themselves, so others have been coming out recently.

With the guys, it's not really happening, but there's a fair seven or so queer girls who are out.

To be honest, the only people I have admitted my bisexuality to are my cousin--who has a girlfriend, and is a female((Yes, she is a female homosexual, so as not to try to be sexist))--and my girlfriend. My girlfriend supports me all the way, but I am just too afraid to tell everyone at school that I'm bisexual, mainly because they all know me as a rock-solid Christian, and I get made fun of enough at school for having a mental handicap, even though I've overcome it.(Aspurger's syndrome). I don't know who else to tell. I can't tell my mom, she'd probably kick me out. I've already told our counselor, and she said confidentiality prohibited her from telling anyone else, which is nice, I've told my cousin, and my girlfriend. I can't tell anyone else, I feel. I feel this way because I am afraid that I'd get beat up and all that stuff. . .Can someone help me out here? I found out I was bisexual in the middle of this summer, 2005.

Ookamisuke- It really depends on your school Is it uber Christian? Than I'd probably stay on the down low. Just to be able to make it through a day.

Me personally, I was made fun of once. But it was by this like morbidly obese uberly ignorant chick and I got back... I knocked her books on the floor and she was too fat too bend over and reach them, and I said something like, "Well being a dyke is better than a fatass." I was never made fun of again. Besides no one really has malice in the school except for the gross kids. x3

I go ta an all-girl school, and te majority are homophobes... it's awful.
However, I hang with the minute population who are also bi or lesbian. It's great to have that support system watching my back.
Sadly... one stupid skank went as far as stalking me as a hate-crime... I hate them all!

I have never been made fun of at school, however I know a guy who is really discrimanitive against bi/gay people. he says that bi isn't really an orianation because you can't like both sexs, and that bi people are just confused. And at one of my schools dances, his girlfriend(who is my friend, and hangs around with many other bi girls and one gay guy) invited him into the dance and the two of us were dancing with our gay guy friend. My boyfriend didn't cause of obvious reasons, but my friends boyfriend was like "lets go kick his faget a**" to my boyfriend. Right then the girl I like (who was also invited to the dance as she is 22) shoved him twice and asked him what he said that for and that it was rude and that she had many other gay guy friends. She procceded to put him in a head lock and told him he had no idea how badly she wanted to bash his head onto the metal thing on the gym wall behind them. He told her he was only joking and that our friend would have laughed.
