Ther was a aire of shock. Terrence looked over at Ryuu and gave him a reassureing smile. He was not after Yukimi. In fact, he wasn't planning of wooing any lady permenantly. It was all to get to know everyone, it was essential for the future.
"Let's go Miss. Yuriko." He said taking a few steps to indicate to finally leave. He looked back at Ryuu and gave him another smile, but this one was filled with a secret agenda, for a timeless hour.

"I suppose the Sakura Garden would be the best place to do this." Yuriko said, "After all the trees will make it easier to tie up the string."

The Next Day
Yukimi went into the salon waiting for the little girl who lost her rabbit in the fountain. Yukimi promised her a sweet, and because she didn't know how to find the little girl she waited to see if she would return to the salon.

Mari came in to the Salon holding her bunny tighter than usual. She made her way over to a table and sat down.
"Don't worry Mr. Whiskers, Momma will be ok."

Yukimi noticed the little girl enter the salon. She walked over and sat down at the table with her.
"Thank you for being so understanding yesterday," She said smiling, "By the way, my name is Kuroshima Yukimi."

Mari looked up at Yukimi, "I'm Mari." She said still at bit quiet.

"Okay, Mari, I promised you a treat today," Yukimi said sweetly, "so what sort of thing would you like? Crêpes? Shaved Ice? Cake?"

Mari looked up. "Cc-cake." Mari than broke out in tears and pushed her face into Yukimi's chest.
"I don't want to loose my momma to a baby." She cried.

Yukimi's arms wrapped around Mari, giving her a tender hug, like a Mother holding her child.
"I'm sure your mother will love you no matter what, that is what mom's do," Yukimi said softly, "You wouldn't love Mr. Whiskers any less if you got another stuffed animal, would you?"

Mari sniffed, "That's not it. The baby is making momma sick. She has to stay at the hospital now." Mari sat back, "Why would the baby want to hurt momma?"

This information struck Yukimi hard, it took several moments for her to compose herself enough to talk to Mari again, "The doctor's are very good, they'll take care of your Mom. You need to stay strong, that will help your Mom get better too, if she doesn't have to worry about you she can concentrate on healing herself."
Yukimi stroked Mari's hair, "Now how about that cake? There is a tray over there with seven different types of cake on it. Shall we go try some?"

Mari smiled and nodded, "You are right. Momma will get better."
Mari's sunny disposition returned as she ran over to the table with all of the cakes on it. "That one!" She pointed to a rich dense dark chocolate cake with just as rich raspberry filling, topped with a rich chocolate ganache and a beautiful chocolate flower.

Yukimi grabbed two healthy slices of the cake Mari designated.
"Now, Mari, tell me about yourself, what do you like to do when you aren't in class?"

Mari followed Yukimi to a table. "I play the viola. I'm hopping to move to the violin soon. I want to be first chair in an orchestra someday."
Mari took a huge bite of the cake. "Yum this cake is great!"
Mari looked up at Yukimi, "What about you what do you want to be when you grow up?"
