Yesterday's revelation:

Anyone under 21 is a kid. No offense for those under 21, but at that age you're a lot more energetic, feisty, ignorant and foolhardy. When I was that age, I thought I was the coolest thing and I knew everything that I needed to know. ha ha... and now I realize I will never know enough & I am only cool in my own world. If I could meet my 19 year old self today (I'm 2 cool I would probably get in a huge fight with myself. xd

Another thing I realized, is that people hate has some major validity & substance they would probably enjoy, but because of a few minor factors that particular subject is banned, or "off limits." Point in case - Yu Gi Oh and Duel Masters. I hate them both, primarily b/c they seem like really long commercials to sell their cards to kids. And the target audience is very young. Yet, I see & hear about the shows and how fantastic their dragons & demons & wizards are. But I can't ever bring myself to watch any of it beyond the first season and only in Japanese subtitles. What a geek! Anyways, ya see my point. It's possible that I WOULD like those shows, but I'm against the principle & I hate the voice actors & the target audience. ha ha...

*spins in circles* WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

So, when you turn 21 you magically stop being ignorant and foolhardy? Not to argue that those of us under 21 aren't fiesty, ignorant and foolhardy, I'm 18 and I know that there are a lot of things that I'm very ignorant about. But I don't think that there is a magical age where you suddenly become enlightened and are no longer a "kid".

Getting into college is actually harder than the classes and work itself. sweatdrop

The one night you actually would need to go home early from work... you end up staying the full time. stressed

Most People are more afraid than most realize...

Some People are just can't handle the truth.

You can give up my friends, You can give up my family, You can move hundreds of miles away, but most couldn't EVER give up my personality.

you know what sometimes i would prefere to be crazy then right
how can you tell what the truth is when every other word is a lie
if you have proof of something very strange thats going on but its not physical but it is proof what do you think
how can a person speak a language they've never heard before and then have people translate it for them. people who have never met, people who've never even studied languages before in there life yet still come up with the same translations

As much as you say you won't get your hopes up for something, you can't avoid the disapointment when it doesn't come true.

The life of a hermit tends to encourage homesickness.

I thought the same "crazy than right" thing when I think about noises I heard one night when I was alone...
Sound heard three times of a door closing quietly (or attempts to), and the sound of "the cat" at the door when both cats were sleeping. Even more that makes me hope I was hearing things is when Mom herself says she heard what sounded like the cat at the top of the door in the bathroom... and nothing being in there. sweatdrop

(And... last night we hope it was the dog the first time, but we heard what sounded like a crash and scratch in the living room... then the dog scratched on the glass door. It sounded completly different to me both times. eek When the noise happened first... Mom and I looked at each other, and she said "I didn't hear anything... it wasn't me I swear...".)

While we're on the subject;

I hate being right all the time.

And as of yesterday, another revelation has received even more outside confirmation.

Drunk people are only truly funny when you're drunk too.

Otherwise, there will be parts of the conversation that will leave you gasping for breath, because they are indeed being less than intelligent in an all too entertaining matter, but there will also be parts of the conversation that makes you wonder just how much damage your brain will incur from contagion as you stand nearby and listen.

Santayana's principle of history repeating itself can be applied to anything.

Such as, my recent dating life. stressed

Why is it I always try to go out with my close friends? Why? God damn it anyway...

the line between friend and more than is simple but some will think it's cruel:
S-E-X...whether you do it or not...the difference is the desire.

My revelation:

No matter how much i try, I have no control over my borne instincts...body will always overcome mind.

Hmm...

My latest revalation...

The internet is an amazing way to find people into your same interests. And there's somebody for EVERY interest, no matter how obscure. Especially on Gaia. So, our lives move away from local to global. It's both sad and amazing that most of my friends are internet pals from Japan, England and other parts of the US. The world is only going more and more global and our economies and markets are slowly melding. We are all quite dependent on each other, even when we are halfway across the planet. Summary.... Friends can be found everywhere.

Just because you say you're going to get up early in the morning to finish your homework, doesn't mean that it will actually happen. In fact, it will usually result in missing breakfast on the day that you don't get to eat lunch, leaving you hungry and cranky by the end of the day.

I hate Mondays.
