That would probably annoy me as well. I will say that sometimes I'll see an avatar I really like. If I can see what they've equipped I like to pick the style apart on tektek and decide what items were put together make me really like it. (Usually one to three items) Sometimes I'll make a new avi inspired by the one I liked but I try hard to make it my own, most of the time by using a similar color scheme but totally different items. Or I take the few items I really like on it and create something totally different. I like to be original even when being inspired by something.
I don't think I've ever had anyone copy my outfits. But I don't really pay much attention.

With certain outfits I have had..people have copied exactly. It pisses me off sometimes, and I PMed them before complaining about it. They changed their avatar right away. xd
