Corbin!" Oceanid couldn't help but giggle seeing the fish escape, but her attention turned to her friend almost immediantly afterward. "Corbin?" She kneeled in the water and put an arm around him. "You 'kay?"

"I-I'm fine.." Corbin stuttered as he blinks, then looks down. "Whoa..water!" he said then got up rather quickly. He looked down at Oceanid. "Umm.. that was a bit embarassing," he said, his cheeks becoming a dark blue.

Oceanid stood, smiling a little. "Yes, water. Nice isn't it?" She leaned against Corbin, wrapping her arms around his shoulders. "For being so afraid of it...your being very brave."

Corbin paled a bit, then nods. "A....bit," he stuttered a bit there, then flushed his entire face. "I--I---I-I-I wanted to get fishes for..br--r-r-r-eakf--a--a-ast!" he said, trying to finish his sentence and breathes hard.

"I'll help." Eyes the water, clear turquoise eyes narrowing. "...and I won't leave your side." She tilted her head and kissed his cheek lightly before letting go.

Corbin grunts as he moves nervously in the water. Occasionally in the last few seconds, he been twitching anout the thinking that was going on in his head. He was afraid something is going to touch his legs and he was going to flee from Oceanid and everything. It just.. ew, slimy stuff touching his legs.. ew ew ew!

Oceanid on the other hand was very much at home in the water. Resting hands on her knees, she watched the water waiting for a fish to pass so she could grab it.

Although, Cobin is nervous as ever being in the water, the fear has aside of watching Oceanid waiting to catch a fish. He gaze closely as a school of fish came towards them. ".." he muses as he steps away from them even touching him.

Oceanid watched the fish as they came closer, hands slipping down toward the water. She moved to snatch a pair of fish as they swam by, carefully plucking them from the water. The other fish of the school scattered.
She giggled. "Got a couple."

Corbin's jaw just hang there in surprise. "You got them.." he squeaked, but went flabbergast over that before he grins lightly at Oceanid. He peered closely at the two fishes that his very close female friend caught. "They look good," he said, then nods. "You think they'll be enough?"

"I think so." Oceanid stood, holding the carefully as they flopped in her hands so they couldn't get loose. "Back to the beach then?" She grinned and righted herself.

Corbin grins lightly. "Ok.." he said then made a cringing apperance on his face as he made his way back to the beach. Once he had touched the dry sand, he breethes evenily and shook off the excess water from his lower body. "Nothing like a unwanted bath to wake you up," he murmured, then grins sheepishly at Oceanid, then went to fetch a stick to put the fishes on.

Oceanid waded out of the water, not even bothering to shake off the excess, she simply let it run off her skin. "It wasn't fun for you?" She tilted her head, watching the angel as he went along.

"It was ok," Corbin said as he shrugs lightly, then looks his shoulders at Oceanid before picking up acouple sticks to determine their sturdy figures. After going through quite a few sticks, he picked up a stick with two endings. "Ok.. got one!" he said, showing the almost pitchfork stick.

Oceanid giggled. "Alright!" She tossed one of the fish over to him. "Catch!"
