This was pretty damn irksome. There were doors on that end as well! Around the corner...DOORS. All of them the same!! God, why did this maze even have to exist?
Moreover...why was her door, on the other wall face, any different from the rest?

Tau kicked herself, swearing under her breath. Not even during the worst days at the bar did she pull out these words. But now seemed appropriate. Rule number three of thieving: Notice everything. ******** ******** ******** ******** ******** returned to her own door, examining it. Why did a little thief get such a door? What, indeed, made it different from the other infuriating plain doors?

[This is so funny.]
Well, it was the same, really. Or was it different?
Actually, it was sort of similar to the ones on its wall...or was it? Nope. Yes. Mayyyybe?
Yeah, she had no clue.

[You suck. razz ]
Well, since her sense of intution seemed either off or playing with her, Tau didn't really know what to think. She needed to do something soon...and she just didn't like the idea of more doors.
Maybe I'll head back to that room again... see if I can figure out where that girl is. She just needed one clue as to which way to go, where to look -- the doors were driving her insane! So, Tau headed back to the first room she entered and watched the screens, looking for anything new or a little clue.
[Can't I do a clue roll or something? I'm a wuss. I hate decisions.]

[Yes. You may do <>, a d20 roll.]
Nope.
Poo. This sucked.

Two answers became clear.
She could try to search the WHOLE area, making as many turns as possible..
Or she could check the OTHER wall of the hallway. Perhaps that one had more rooms like hers. She'd only been opening the doors on one side, after all.
Maybe there were more patients to be found...

Decisions, decisions. Well... since she was here... why not check the doors along her side of the hallway? Hell, why not the one to the immediate right of hers? If she didn't find anyone else then she could run aimlessly around this place.

The door slid open easily, revealing a room much like her own...everything about it seemed to be the same, in fact...but was there anyone inside?

YES! Someone else!
Strapped to the table with large METAL CUFFS (lucky...), the boy affixed to the large steel, bloodless table seemed to be unconscious. Unlike your room, this one had no radio, but it didn't really matter. The kid was out cold.
He was wearing a thin, light hospital garb, much like your own...and his head was shaved. Whether that was a product of his own or of the hospitals didn't really matter.
There was someone else.

Tau approached the table, regarding the boy with morbid curiousity. Well... what did she do now? Did she try to wake him or check the other rooms?
Whatever Tau was, she wasn't inhumane. So, she decided to try and rouse him and then get him out. She didn't quite know how yet, but she'd figure that part out when she got to it.
She shook him roughly. "Hey? Can you hear me?"

Was he stirring? Man, if he woke up, she really hoped that he wasn't some annoying brat.
