((omg, I just realized my last post was a HORRIBLE displays of the English language and grammar.... I am so sorry you had to read that sweatdrop ))
Dear approached closer to Kuval, but kept her distance in respect. "This is a place of rest for some and living for others. We call it the Valley... a term a Knight gave a long time ago. Many of us stay here our whole lives, but when the Knights would come to train, we'd offer what we could in their training."
Angathi interrupted, eyeing Kuval worriedly. "Remember I said some creatures will hurt you, but not purposefully?" The stallion shifted in the water, "Well, Dear is one of those. She is nice and kind, but if she were to touch you... " He shook his head to prove his point.
The creature smiled, stalked eyes rolling in humour. "Now, Knight, you know as well as I that it is a defense mechanism for my kind."
"Doesn't mean it doesn't hurt..." Angathi grumbled, obviously he had been a victim of such pain before.
Dear gave Kuval a mischief look, showing another side of herself: she was responsible, but also enjoyed some play and banter when able.... not to mention ths was something she'd done before; things weren't always as they seemed.
But Angathi knew that look, "No... nonononono!" Quick, the kelpi swam and hid behind Kuval.

(( Lol not at all!!! ))
Kuval was still confused by the interaction between the two creatures, and he only sighed a few times before watching Angathi swim behind him.
"So why would you bring me here, if 'Dear' is potentially harmful?" he said, in a low and grumpy voice. He was starting to realize why Angathi might have been a bit insane, look at the world he had to live in!
Kuval was able to spend his days lazily, with no worries in the world! But Angathi on the other hand.. his worries just never ceased to end!
"Whatever, this is stupid." Kuval said, and he pushed by Angathi and looked around the area, trying to get a feel for where they were. Damn, he really had no idea, and it was stressing him out big time. If only he had payed more attention earlier, he could have figured it out easily.
His worry wasn't Dear, or if he would get hurt. His biggest stress was hoping that he could hold his sanity for a little while longer, because it seemed as though it was impossible right now..

Angathi blinked after Kuval, and looked to Dear for assistance. He simply didn't understand what was going on. "Was it something I said?"
The creature shook her head, "I don't think so.... he seems.... upset? You should go talk to him. I don't think he wants to be here either."
The Knight was confused. Someone didn't like Dear? She was so nice and sweet, but she couldn't help who she was. The bright creature definately made up for all that with personality.
Either way, he took her advice and swam to catch up with Kuval. His mood was dampered, but he still tried to be polite. "I can lead you out, Kuval." Angathi paused and waited for an answer. If the other kelpi didn't want to be here, well, he should be made to stay.

Kuval looked Angathi tiredly. "Its nothing against you, I am just exhausted. I appreciate all you have show me today but.. I think I have reached my limit." It was strange, a lot of what Angathi showed him was sort of hanging on his shoulder, and he felt as though he had a lot to think about. It was a strange feeling, of strain and sadness.
"Maybe I can meet Dear another time.. I'm just not in the mood." He just wanted to curl up on soft patch on the ground, and doze into sleep. He could tell that Angathi looked upset, but Kuval only grinned, hoping to cheer him up again. "I have enjoyed everything you have showed me so much, though."
He couldn't tell if what he had done was rude, but Kuval was not the type to keep his mouth shut. "Your not mad, are you?" he said, quietly.

Angathi shrugged "It is your choice. And no, I am not mad." He swam up, towards to the surface. Up and up, until his head broke free of the water and into the air. He waited until Kuval did the same.
"Now, we are actually about in the center of the entire range. Because you are not familiar with this area, there is a trick to safe passage. We have not figured out how it is that this works; but it does. One theory, perhaps the predominant one, is that the protection of the gods are on the one who follows the King's Trident." Angathi looked up. It wasn't quite night, but it was dark enough for the stars to show.
"The King's Trident," he explained, "Is almost directly up if you look for it from the Sea. It does not move. You can see the line that is His staff, and the triple prongs that are the head of the Trident. You follow the staff, and the brightest star - the one in the middle Trident prong, will guide you safely. You see?"
Angathi gave the other stallion time to see the figure. After awhile, he chuckled a bit, "But you have me still. I will guide you safely out. It is the time of year, though, when many of the predators are gone from this area. We shouldn't have any trouble."

Kuval glanced up like the stallion said, but then drooped his ears for a moment in wonderment if Angathi had really lost it. Maybe that was what happened when someone started living in an imaginative setting. Besides, it seemed that way when Angathi was bellowing about Mishos not being in this world anymore as well.
"Well I appreciate you leading me out." he said, still looking to see whatever it was he was talking about. After feeling bored on the idea, he turned back to Angathi, and was ready to follow him.
"Hopefully its not too far.." he scoped around the area, noticing a few scents that seemed familiar. That was a good sign, and it made him relax for a moment.

Angathi shook his head, mainly to himself. Kuval was obviously not seeing it. Well, he probably shouldn't worry too much, the other kelpi was most likely never going to come this way: and therefore, won't need to find his way our of the range's maze.
With a splash, the Knight dove back into the water. "No, it is not far at all."
The sunlight was faltering but the rising moon gave off a lot of light. Angathi stayed close to the surface, and looking down saw the darkened and menacing range. Yes, they were close to the edge.
Before no time at all, they were clear, and the blue of the Sea went on forever. "Here we are, the end of the line."
Angathi turned to Kuval. "Take care, and I am sure I will see you again." His voice had a far-off sound, as if the words came from somehwere else.

Kuval followed Angathi swiftly, and noticed him stop abruptly.
"Thank you.." he said, when he finally noticed he was back. "I am sure I will run into you too, Angathi. Its been fun." Hopefully the stallion would take care of himself, Kuval was almost worried for his sake.
"Well, until then!" Kuval turned his body and swam away, only to feel sort of bad for leaving the stallion there. Ah well, he was finally free, right? Though.. his stomach churned uncomfortably.
"Come find me if you need me." he finally spat out, and he darted away to regain his thoughts.

Angathi watched Kuval go without a word. He just had that feeling... yes, he would see the other stallion again.THE END!
