So, if someone has only one weakness, then this makes sure that the match is still even?
May Deity step in and respond? Here's an example, using Deity's character...hopefully this will clear things up:
Say, for instance, that Deity somehow transforms into his Demonic Form. There isn't really any way to defeat Demonic Fierce, so this rule would apply better to weaker characters, but it still works... Injuring D. Fierce only makes him stronger, but if such a being existed that was
stronger than Demonic Fierce...and they did battle...he still wouldn't have a chance. You see, there is only one way to 'defeat' Demon Fierce: change him back to normal. Unless someone can do that, the fight cannot end under any circumstances whatsoever...
So, until someone manages to do that, Demonic Fierce is unbeatable until the requirements for his defeat are met...for instance...you can't just blow him away and be done with it, even if you're stronger. He'll just beat the crap out of you until your character's life is in danger, and move on. D. Fierce is strong enough already...so let's use a better example.
The same goes for any other character, such as Keno's. If Keno underwent a rage-induced powered-up state, he'd go berserk and be irrational...but powerful. Unless someone found a way to calm him down - like, if Raleigh got involved somehow - then he'd be a hassle to deal with, and thus would be temporarily unbeatable.
This rule can probably also apply to choreographed battles, with a predetermined outcome. Even if it seems dangerous... (for the surrounding characters) ...you should try not to interfere in someone else's battle. If you do, and it disturbs the eventual outcome of the match, they may have the temporary ability to avoid/block/dodge/counter mostly anything you throw at them...so that they can continue.
Deity would also go so far as to say that a temporary counter-godmod (auto-hitting or otherwise godmodding to get someone to leave you alone) would be legal, but that's easily up for debate...
::huffhuff::
....s'that about right, Keno?
sweatdrop That was Deity's impression...
