"He attacked you?!" Asami said a little angered that someone would attack her new friend. Her little paws scratched at the dirt a little as she looked around a bit more. "How is your daddy mean?" The little kit asked thinking about her father who she thought was the best Ulaya in the world.

Takumi nodded. "My brother hates me. He says I'm not related to him. He'll regret it.." He made a vicious face and growled at no one as if Thonas was right in front of him."Yep, My daddies the meanest around." He was kind of proud to tell about his daddy. "He's beat up my mommy, and a bunch of other ulaya." He added. "He's orange with spots, but I've only met him once." He nodded again.

Asami nodded at her new friend. "I'm sorry." She said hearing about his father and brother being mean. This made Asami appreciate her father and sisters even more. "My daddy is really nice, and my mommy is caring." She said nodding her head at her words.

He snorted. "My mommy is an idiot." He said and rolled his eyes. He didn't know what idiot meant, he just heard his father call her it before. "She doesn't pay attention to anyone." He sighed and flopped on the ground. This was suppose to be a good day.. Now he was all depressed. "Lets... Try to forget about this talk and go do something else?" He asked.

Asami noticed that he was getting a little sad, so when he offered to forget their talk, she nodded her head quickly the pounced him. "Tag!" She yelled out before running in a random direction. Whenever she saw a huge bush next to a tree, she jumped in it and stayed quiet.

Takumi was puzzled at this game what was it? Well, Tag of course, but how do they play. "What?" he said as the other touched him and ran. Well, that was weird. He looked at his newly found friend strangely.

Asami poked her head out from the bush she was hiding in. "You don't know how to play tag?" She asked walking back over to him. The kit thought of other things ulaya called tag. "Maybe you know it as... cat and mouse?" She shrugged a bit at the names.

He shook his head. "Nope, never played it. Or cat and mouse." He said honestly. Of course, there was no point in lying since she noticed he didn't know how to play. If he lied about it, then she would have expected him to do something. But what? Chase her?

"Well," She began, "You run up and touch someone then run off and that person runs after you and tries to touch you." Asami said nodding her head softly. "If you don't want to play it we could chase some bugs or something." She said wagging her fluff tail.

Takumi smiled. "Sounds simple enough." He grinned and walked towards her tagged her and ran off. He didn't have to play fair. "TAG" he said and started to run off in some odd direction. Which wasn't the best. Since the part he was heading to was extremely dark and gloomy.

Asami scratched one tree before running off after her friend. "Hey! Get back here." She said as she wagged her fluff and ran towards the dark and glomy part not even noticing how it looked. Her focus was on Takumi so that she wouldn't lose him. As she ran, her ears twitched at the sounds of twig snapping under her and Takumi's paws.

Takumi continued to run around the edge of some type of water that he didn't even really think about it. Nor did he notice that they were being watched by something that was in the water. Two eyes had watched with interested at the two things of food.
"Never! You'll never get me!" Takumi said as he laughed running around the water still. Though he stopped when he had no where else to go, but into the water. It didn't look very good. It was all dark and full of green stuff.

Asami giggled as she ran after him. When she finally caught up to him, her breath was quick and shallow. "I have finally caught up to you!" She yelled out as she looked around at where they were. "Woah." She said amazed at how dark it was in this part of the forest.
The small kit hadn't even noticed the eyes watching the two of them, since her attention had been on Takumi the whole time they were running around the large thing of water. Her fluff tail wagged as she walked over to Takumi and sighed softly trying to get her breathing back to normal.

Takumi eyed the water. "Do you think it's safe to swim in?" He asked totally forgetting about the game they were playing. This looked wicked cool, yet very scary. He could see dark shadows under the water but he couldn't tell exactly what they were. Probably frogs or something.
The eyes moved closer to them. Black as ever as it watched them. Still a mystery creature hidden by the dark waters. It got closer to the little things of food it could eat. It hadn't had fresh meat in a long time.
Takumi looked to Asami. "Want to swim?!" He asked playfully as he pawed at her. Still oblivious to the creature that was stalking them.

"Um..." She said as she pawed at the black water. "It looks kinda gross." The kit said looking at her friend, but she decided that since nothing ate her yet, it would probably be safe. "Sure, lets go swimmin'!" Asami yelled out as she patted the top of the dark colored water with her paw. "You first." The kit said with a small giggle. Of course, she wasn't going to let her friend go in the water by himself, plus she would look like a little girly ulaya if she didn't go in with him.
