I think I remember another MOD say something like that.
So try to start up a conversation even if you already know it's gonna' end up locked. ^_^ Happiness to spread around!!!

Exactly. As soon as you start talking about something else in a spam thread, it makes it worse because it's just being bumped to the top every ten seconds. Take it to the chat thread, it's there for a reason! We will deal with the spam threads when we get online.
