Hmm... That does bore some considering. I would then have to bring in more loyal toadies to balance out my rebellious toadies. Then inevitably some of them would quit. Eventually I might end up with 3 votes, to maybe 7. Still unsatisfactory.
I guess I have to be nice to my Toadies Protoges. Curses.
Anyway I am having abysmal luck in the recruitment department. Apparently no one wants to join this type of rp. It's too complicated for the Barton Town Rper's. And not complicated enough for the DnD'ers.
Are any of you having better luck finding minions?

"We were looking? And seriously, Gonzu, you should be nicer to your Proteges. They may out-recruit you someday, you know, and switch places with you."

"Yes indeed Gonzu! You never know when your underlings will overthrow you! Thats why I designed the Order to be set up like that. You have to EARN your power here!"

"Unless! You figure out some uber spell that can wipe out all the little rebels!" He turned from the window, chuckling at a mind image.
"Oh and by the way... Not to cause any trouble, but I really don't think I can call myself a wizard. Because technically, I rely on a sword as much as a spell."

"Thats why you are refered to as Bellamin the Blue! Though i thought for logistical purposes I use the term "Wizard" as a user of magic to enhance his/her abbilities. You can title yourself Bellamin the Blue Spellsword, or whatever you want. Let me know And I'll put it up. I just didn't want to type Wizard/Sorcerer/Witch/Warlok/Spellsword/Mage/Magic-User/etc. on every line of the discription.

My newest tactic is to PM different people I find in the Barton town forum to see if they might want to join. I have one who said she would look into it.

Isn't that called "door to door sales"? Do you really suppose we should be doing that?

Gerbo, I feel like a one-trick pony. All I ever do is cast fireball. But it's always the best thing for me to do at the time. Even if I power up my magic it still won't compensate for the damage I could have done that turn instead. Maybe I should look into locating a stunbolt. Then again I could always just buy stunning blow, as I never use my AP. Then I could occaisionally use my stunning blow to stop assorted spells.

Gonzu, that is the down side to being a Black Mage... You just get to nuke everything in site! Thats pretty much what your character was asigned to do...
Though you could try and buy the AP Fightermage potion from Firu. It lets you spend 4 character points to aquire the Fightermage ablility, which lets you use a spell and action evey round! So you could nuke them AND use your stuning blow!

Hmmm...
Well, due to the currently obtainable spells, there's not much choice on which nuke to launch. Just hope you get some kind of unique spell that is equal to fireball in usefullness.
Oh, and Gerbo, where did he get that Fighterpoton AP?

OK Guys! I have a new project for all of you since for now, recuiting is slow.
I want you all to rewrite your type of Magic Descriptions! At this point in time, you can change the color you want to represent and everything! I would also like everyone to think of a name for there type of magic as well! Red Wizard, could be "Battlemage" or something!
ALso feel free to write your own "Favored spells and actions". Also include the new spells accesable in the school of necromancy whenever posiible!"

Spellsword-
One of the more distant offshoots of the mage community are the spellswords. What makes them a unique classification is their abillity to not only use magic, but also to attack with a sword (or any other melee weapon). This combination of melee and magic makes the Spellsword a very versitile combatant, able to switch from two distinct types of damage when nessesary. However, this abillity to cover both relms does come with an ironic price. A Spellsword's magic development is hindered by the development of his close combat skills, which in turn, hinder magic. However, once off that bumpy start, a Spellsword can become just as powerfull as both mage and warrior.
Magic to a spellsword varies between preference. While some Spellswords utilise white magic, others follow the paths of black magi. Then, there is still some who follow the grey routes, chosing to cast magic of both planes. It is a Spellsword's choice to follow any road, just as it is a mages right to pursue any domain.
Favorite spell- Any Favorite action- Any
((Is it too long?))
