OH, and you can donate by sending to the SDRP mule (above), because that way it can be used for more than just purchasing subforums.

Hello everyone. I answer to Celeste, Mona, or Chrissy. I had a question earlier, but it got answered already (go fig). Well, any way I'll have to get used to RPing here. I'm not really sure how different it is from RPing on my other site, but I guess I'll find out soon. xd

Karieda I'm new to this guild, and have some RP experience, but not enough to be qualified as 'literate'... So I want some help with that. Also, what are sticky's? xp Check out the Questions subforum, because there is an RPGing guide that has some advice appropriate for intermediate and advanced RPGers. Stickies are threads that stay at the top of the page no matter what. On Gaia they actually say "Sticky" but on other forums they might not. Announcements also stay at the top but above stickies. This right here is an announcement. smile

*Hands shoots up* Oooo, ooooo! Anyone can pop into a role play as soon as they join and go by the restrictions and guide lines dealt out by the person who created the role play, as long as they go by that if there isn't any problem right? If this has already been asked/answered then don't be too harsh on me ... mhm

Karieda I'm new to this guild, and have some RP experience, but not enough to be qualified as 'literate'... So I want some help with that. Also, what are sticky's? xp Literate is the e-slang for a role play which is more over formal and in story format, meaning no astericks to denote action and having to have the quotation marks to denote dialogue. I've actually found to using this term would make you more or less the illiterate one if your using it in the fashion of desiring a role play consisting of not only proper grammar and book/novel style format but also consisting of atleast a paragraph, and not a real paragraph at that, usually atleast two sentences and the like ... I mean I use it but still, I always thought it alittle silly, since being literate would mean that they would have the ability to properly put together a sentence (Not this long a** sentence of mine, yes'm I'm very informal). Yes, I love run on sentences, others don't like it ... makes their eyes bleed, but if I used proper puncuation and the like it'd probably be broken down into sentences and the like, mm'kay? Did I answer your question or did I just rise more questions?
