Zell however was more than relaxed enough to laugh loud and unhampered at the mental image. Especially as the Quistis in his mind started yelling angrily and the Shoom just played and avoided her real whip as she tried to use it on him. "Haha!! Yeah!! If I ever find out Quisty's 'round we'll have to get them together! Booya!!"
He padded without fear, casually bouncing on his paws as they traveled. "Squall's here. And Irvine. Seifer too. As a kitsu I mean. & Rinoa. I've not seen Seifer or Rin. Rune saw him though...." The fistfighter grew oddly thoughtful for a moment, blue eyes frowning ever so slightly at those things he did not understand. Then with a shake of his head it was gone, warm boyish smile back in place. "Betcha knew that though, huh? And the secret area? Sure! I can find it blindfolded!"
With a front paw-spring Zell trotted that direction, moving only as fast as it seemed Kitsyn wanted to. And as if to prove his word: those bright blue eyes of his were shut. The SeeD whistled cheerily as he used other senses to slip between the trees & foliage. "Wanna fight sumthin' on the way?"

Not that Kitsyn was particularly afraid... just wary. It was her nature in any place that could be potentially dangerous. Once she knew how she stacked up to the possible threat, she'd be fine. Still, she could practically see the same mental image as Zell and couldn't help laughing.
His comments about the others had her nodding thoughtfully. "I've seen Squall around, though I've never actually spoken with him. I knew about Irvine and Rinoa. I didn't about Seifer, but... well I can't say it suprises me with so many of the rest of you here."
She snickered at Zell's blind walking, appreciating the humor and his skills even more than she had before. She hummed rather than whistled. She could whistle, but she liked the range humming and singing gave her better. At his question she flicked an ear forward. "If something feels like fighting us, sure."
Of course saying something like that qualified as "famous last words", and right after it left her mouth she felt the fur on the back of her neck stand on end. She didn't even bother to look behind her and went into a forward tumble, drawing even with Zell in the process. She knew something was there. A glance behind them revealed a pair of Grats, and she play grimaced. "Don't they spray for weeds in here?"

Zell really wasn't surprised by the company, casually shifting into battle mode with an eager grin as the female rolled towards him and laughed. "Now why'd we do that? It'd take all the fun out of the Training Center!"
Rolling his shoulders, Zell got ready for a fight. Just two grats. Easy pickings. With a grin towards Kitsyn that said 'c'mon, lets have some fun!' the fistfighter bounced forward to pound on one of the creatures.

Kitsyn wasn't far behind Zell, and while her hand-to-hand movements didn't flow as well as the blonde kitsu's for lack of practice, she made up for it with agility learned both by curiosity and by dodging during paintball. Zell had learned to adjust his human fighting style to the kitsu body; Kitsyn had learned how to use the kitsusagi's innate animal abilities, like that bizarre sideways leap she'd used earlier at the paintball course. And with little trouble, too, which made her wonder if some of her pieces had been non-human as well.
She took choice openings, which weren't hard because of the Grat's nature, and after darting in and out a few times landed a blow squaire to the plant-beast's core that gave a resounding crack/snap sound. It died and faded away in typical fashion. "Well... that was fun." She gave a goofy grin and stretched herself before giving her body a good shake. "Think I need to practice a bit more, though. I know I can do better than that."

The SeeD was playing with his, using only light punches like he might with the small bag set up in his room. He was grinning, laughing outright as his jabs took out the last of the monster's health and it faded away. "yeah..." He said with a grin, bouncing around a bit. "Fun but barely a warm-up."
Hard to miss the female's goofy grin, much less not be able to laugh back at it. "That was cool, Kitsyn! But if it's practice you want, I'm always up for it!"
Even as he spoke, Zell sauntered towards the secret area.

Kitsyn followed after. "Not much of a warm-up, but eh... good to know where I stand if bigger trouble ever pops up, I guess."
It didn't actually take all that much time to get to the secret area. The monsters were either being quiet or didn't feel up to challenging the two. Kitsyn trotted up and peered out over the night-lit waters. "A bit odd if it's always night... but it's a good view, anyway."
There was a beep from underneath her scarf and Kitsyn tugged out a watch set on a chain. She looked it it in suprise before tucking it back under the cloth. "I didn't realize we'd been out this long! I'd better head back and make sure Bryna's home. She'll wander off again if I'm too late."

Trotting to the rail of the secret area with a sense of uregency not often in the fistfighter Zell only twitched an ear as he smiled, blue eyes watching the famliar sight. He was about to comment to Kitsyn when her watch went off, quirking his head more surprised she had one than anything else.
"Going?" More surprised than disappointed. "We just got here!" But already Zell was shrugging. Going with the flow. "Well, guess we might as well head back then."
Casting a glance back out it looked as if the SeeD would be returning later in the day, probably to do some thinking over the bomb of info Kitsyn had dropped on him. Now he was heading back the way they came in with a grin. "Yeah. Odd it's always night. But like running into SeeD cadet's it's kinda nice not having to freak out anyone who might be looking in."

Kitsyn frowned briefly and then shrugged and followed Zell. "Yeah... time flies when you're having fun though. And... well, thanks again for listening earlier. I know I didn't explain things very well, about me or him... it's nice to have someone else know though."
She batted playfully at his tails as they walked. "And I'll definitely have to come back and practice! I wanna see what happens when all three of you get together in here, anyway. That's gotta be something to see."

"Hey. Anytime." He turned to flash a grin at her. "Sides... even if ya had told in perfect clarity, not like I'd get it in full until I met the fellow, right?"
Zell laughed as she batted his tails, drawing them away then 'teasing' her with them as a game. "Oh yeah! It's awesome with the three of us training! The tala's been around for much longer than me but he's been a pup for so long, he just goes nuts in here." Blue eyes crinkled at the thought.

She played along with the game, acting rather the kit for most of the walk back, which was still oddly quiet. As they approached the doors she moved to walk next to him again. "Maybe I should try to get ahold of a video camera for it."
Moments later they were entering the actual abode again. "You want me to bring Atae over tomorrow a little earlier in the day? Give her a little more time to get used to you and you can have more time to see where she needs to work the most or whatever."

It was fun kit-playing when one chose to... and when he wasn't being ridiculed by a Seifer. Which actually wasn't that often considering two tended to be with Runes while the tala was often either off on his own or focusing his ribbings on his 'twin' Zell. "Sure, if ya want! Used to being on camera, what with Seph before." Seemed Zell had taken up the family's way of talking about life remembered living in a different form.
He was not really surprised about the lack of monsters. Only the T-rexaurs tanded to bother him without Zell having to go out & find them anymore. But then that's why he would train a whole bunch of the average monsters together & practice taking on vast multiples at once.
"Earlier than what? Lily & me train at dawn so that's good, or wait til she leaves for lessons if ya think she can handle me all by her lonesome." There was a teasing quality in the SeeD's voice even as he glanced around here as if much more worried about an attack than in the Training Ground.

Kitsyn made a mental note to check for a video camera at the house even while noticing Zell's far more wary looks around the room than in their previous location... but then she also remembered the mobbing he got when they came in the first time. "Actually I think she'd be more comfortable coming after Lily leaves, as long as I'm around. I don't have anything else to do tomorrow anyway."

Thankfully, it seemed most of the family was out and about and those remaining were either sleeping or content to be engaged in quieter activities. The female glomp-trio of doom and their sometimes 'leader' Trel-kit seemed no where to be found. And that worried Zell more than a little bit. He & Aear had managed to become the perma kits' preferred glomp-magnets.
"Kay! So what say 8:30 -9ish tomorrow?" Blue eyes grinned charmingly.

Kitsyn nodded and nudged Zell's shoulder with a paw. "Can do. Should be fun!" She waggled her ears just for the sake of silliness. "I better get going, though, so I'll see you tomorrow." She trotted to the door to outside, waved a farewell to anyone in the room that was paying attention, and made her way out and toward home.
