well, My Daedric bow is pretty handy, but I have to admit my staff has saved my a** on more then one occasioun. That and the Blade of Woe.

i say swords because they are (in my mind) more elegant than beating the scene out of people or stringing them full of arrows

Ah. My enchanted Perfect Madness Longsword coupled with the lvl 25+ Escutcheon of Chorrol. Such a beautiful couple. The most powerful standard longsword in Oblivion coupled with the shield with the highest Reflect Damage enchantment. All I now have to do is get the Ring of the Iron Fist and Necklace of Swords and I'll be untouchable by melee!

I prefer blades. I use the Sword of the Crusader most of the time but when I'm not using it I use my Sword of the Inferno.

Short blades i guess, because size isnt everythign. But the best blade Ive ever had was the Umbra blade. Lets face it It weighs nothing, and does 17 damage. pulls 125 attacks of soul trap for 120 seconds. that and a bow and arrow, I like mocking my enemy by doing a back flip then filling his face with 30 arrows.

Although the ownage inherited in the bow, attacking enemies from far, and being able to keep'em far, the sword is mightier than the bow, grabbing an Ebony Longsword, or a Daedric Claymore and slashing through your enemies is a wonderful feeling, plus if you have the Escutcheon with the 8% reflect damage, it's cool.
But I also like Blunts, they do a lot of damage, and are cool(maxing this).

I prefer one handed blades, and bows biggrin Daggers just aren't my thing :/

Alchemist of the Twilight i like blades because i prefer to slice through my opponents rather then smashing there skulls or shooting an arrow into them. (no offense to anyone. thats just my opinion)
I agree 100% with you girl! It is much more fun to slice the enemy , than it is to shoot it!

I use both Blades (longswords and Daggers, specifically) AND Bows...
I have my enchanted Glass Longsword, Vampyr. It does drain health 40 in 1 sec, and also fortifies my strength on strike.
Bloodletter is basically the same thing, but a glass dagger, and it fortifies me agility or speed (can't remember which)...
For Assassinations i EXCLUSIVELY use a bow. I have an enchanted bow (Glass), which does something like 25 Fire damae in a 10 foot radius, and then enchanted arrows, which deal 10 Ice gamage (5 foot radius), and light 10 feet.

I like to use every weapon, i like cutting through my enemies, smahing their skulls and shooting an arrow through their heads

I personally love the bow, its really the only weapon i ever use in all 5 times playing the game over. Its just so good, you can hit all enemies with it, you can enchant it, get enchanted arrows, deal damage to more than one enemy at a time and can give a times 3 critical while in stealth mode.

longsword or shortsword i like using swords but sometimes when i play oblivion on the computer i use my werewolf claws.
