EvilSilverDragon Caleten couldn't sit there and listen anymore, she had to see what was going on outside. Up until very recently, that was her home! She stood up and Gem joined her instantly, takng perch on her shoulder. "Excuse me, it sounds like its getting worse out there, I am going to go an check out the damages so far." Getting away from her seat, the young woman walked from the kitchen still extremely disturbed by the weather. Her mind was plagued with the thoughts of what she would have done if she were out there?
If there were no cave near by, Gem and herself would have gotten soaked to the bone with no where to go. Thinking over which way she would have gone, she knew that in good weather it would have been two days before she found any sort of shelter that could possibly helpped from the rain. Being alone in something like this, and with the danger to Gem, she had to shudder at the thought. N'tren said his goodbyes to the other riders at the table and ventured after Caleten. Splotch muttered under his breath as they tried to stay dry. He was tired of the weather and feared the worse. Afraid of drowning in all the rain, N'tren instead used Datiath as a messenger.
Tell Caleten to wait up. I will check with her.Lazily, the bronze opened his eyes. He was still up in his weyr sleeping though he would need to hunt soon. Relaying the message to Gem, Datiath waited for Caleten to speak to him.

Caleten was surprised when Gem squawked and flew off of her shoulder. The image of Datiath was sent to her, so she stopped just feet from the out doors. Hearing the violent rain and punishing wind, she shivered a bit. Shaking her head, Caleten reached out to the dragon, 'Datiath?'
Part of her wondered if the dragon was getting restless. It wasn't something she'd ask, but she was wondering.

I vote for warmth. I believe there are others checking and I expect they know far more than I about fixing damages. There's nothing any of us are able to do until the rain stops anyhow. Khavida sighs. She wished the rain would stop. They would have a lot of work to do once it did so the sooner the better.

"Yeah..." Far agreed. Something told her that this wasn't going to be easy. However, she got up and went to the door. She opened it slightly and stood out side. The wind ripped at her clothes and sent her hair in all mannor of directions. There wasn't anything she could see through the rain and wind and she went back to the kitchens.
"It's bad out there. Really bad." She smoothed her hair out and took her seat at the fire.

We're going to have a lot of clean up to do. Khavida sighed and stroked her feline gently. I wonder when it will stop...

"Yeah... wonderful." Far didn't like clean up. It just wasn't something she enjoyed. "I hope that the dragon weyrs are okay and the dragons in them... Since when did hurricanes hit here?" She asked suddenly. She had never remembered a hurricane at the Weyr before.

Orana bade them all a good day and quickly cut the meat she had requested. Within her mind she felt Ilorith become restless even in his sleep. The storm's worsening bothered him and so bothered Orana. "Farewell I need to tend to Ilorith." she said with a curt bow before she left.
he signalled her flits to accompany her back to her weyr and they followed led by the image she implanted into their minds. As Orana fled back to her weyr getting soaking wet along the way. But after all it couldn't be helped.
