Pokemon only became a kid's show because the American censors edited out all the interesting bits, like James's inflatable boobs and the fact that Gary was gay.

eek Are you serious?! Now I have to go watch the entire uncut version. gonk

Aw man you're in for a treat. XD

I'm not certain about the Gary being gay thing... there are lots of rumours about uncut versions that never made it into international shows.
People say that there are even lost sex scenes and lesbianism between Jessie and Cassidy.

There is a kickass website on the subject that will change how you see Pokemon forever, I can't bring it up right now cause my family is in the room but if you google for 'Pokemopolis' you should find it.
Trust me, you'll know you're there when you find it.
