"We didn't come out for mud anyway, rememeber. Daddy can we go back to the beach?" She turned to her dad and smiled with her big eyes.
Tiki Jim turned to Reira. "Only if you mother wants to go. Or else we'll go back later." He smiled and at Waikiki KiKi and then looked back at his mate and adopted daughter.

"Want to..." June commented out of nowhere, looking around. She didn't really care where they were; she could find something to do wherever.
Reira thought for a moment, then replied, "I suppose it doesn't matter to me. If that's what you want, we can go." She knew, though, that she wouldn't get to surf since she needed to stay with June. She was so preoccupied, in fact, that she didn't notice June speak.
Waikiki Keanu gave up on the mud. "So we're going to the beach?" he asked, excited to try surfing again.

"Alright, everyone. Let's go, but not stay too long." He then put his arm around Reira. "This will be nice. Anyway, if you want to surf I can hold the baby." he nodded as he began to walk to the beach.
Waikiki KiKi bounced her way to the beach still inside her father's bubble. Once there she turned back to him. "I want out please!"

"Alright," Reira replied, giving Tiki Jim a well-deserved peck on the cheek for being so considerate. She shifted June in her arms as they walked, paying much more attention to the many fleeting thoughts passing through her mind than the steps she was taking.
June looked here and there as they walked, attempting to mimic her family and coming up with a word or two every once in a while.
Keanu tried to plot a way to pester his sister as they went to the beach, but by the time they got there, he felt like he'd rather just get along with her so they could have fun. "Let's surf!" He exclaimed before Kiki was even out of their father's protective bubble. He began to run toward the surf boards.

"There you are." Tiki Jim said and the bubble was gone from around her. He then sat down. "Want to sit?" He asked Reira with a smile.
Waikiki KiKi ran to the water's edge. She looked at it with a smile. "It bet it's colder now." She said as she watched it roll in and out of shore.

"Sure," Reira replied, taking a seat next to Tiki Jim. She watched the twins as they went out to the water, cautious as ever to keep them within sight.
June grew bored with sitting very quickly and struggled to gain freedom. Upon succeeding, she played with fistfuls of sand and dug a small pit.
After grabbing the same dark surfboard as he had before, Waikiki Keanu hurried back to the water. "You think?" he asked, poking his foot in the water to find out. His sister was right, but he found the coolness refreshing.

Waikiki KiKi put her foot in as well. "Yeah, it is cold." She giggled as she made a wave with her foot. As she watched the wave she made it turn into a fish.
Tiki Jim looked up at the sky. "It seems to be clearing up nicely. I guess the island was due a big storm, huh?" He asked Reira as he looked back over to her.

((Yeah, I was trying to come up with an idea for how/when would be best to grow her. Right now actually works well, so it shall be! ))
"I suppose so... I can't recall ever seeing a storm like that before." Reira raised her hand to shield her eyes from the sun and scan the horizon for more threatening clouds. She didn't see any, and the sunshine caused her to smile. When she looked down, she was quite surprised (and honestly, a little relieved) to see the June had grown into a child. "My, my, you're just growing like a weed, aren't you?" She asked the girl, still smiling warmly.
June looked up from examining her now-longer limbs. "A weed?" she repeated, then shrugged. Her eyes followed the twins out in the water.
Waikiki Keanu watched the wave with a look on his face that suggested he was proud that his sister could do such things. "I'm going surfing," he announced to her. "Coming?"

Waikiki KiKi looked up at her brother. "Oh, yeah." She then got a surf board for herself and put in the water. She sat on it and paddled out a little ways.
"Not too far you two!" Tiki Jim called to the twins. If they went farther then he would go out there to watch them or something.
Tiki Jim looked down at June. "Ah, a very pretty child you are. Very awesome!" He winked.

((I'm moving in a couple of days, so life's pretty hectic. I'll do my best to keep up with posting at least fairly often. Also - I'm loving the Luna in your sig. I just saw the 5th movie. Fantastic. whee ))
Reira managed to keep an eye on the twins and June while striking up conversation with Tiki Jim. "So..." she began, a dangerous glint in her eyes. "Ready for more kids?" She laughed, as she honestly wasn't ready herself.
The compliment clearly registered with June, as she gave Tiki Jim a searching gaze, but she didn't reply. She blinked before looking elsewhere.
Waikiki Keanu paddled out into the water and carefully pulled himself up. He was getting pretty good at surfing and was having an awesome time. He kept looking to make sure his sister was doing well also.

Tiki Jim looked at the kids and then to Reira. What was the answer she was looking for? "Well, maybe one day if you do. Right now, I"m happy with the three we have!" She smiled and kissed her hand.
"You can play with the Waikiki twins, but you might want to learn surfing first." He told June.
Waikiki KiKi didn't go out too far. Instead she just sorta floated out there. She was watching the waves and using her power. It was fun.

Reira nodded in agreement. She was ready for a little break from the baby food and diapers. Maybe once the twins and June were older, she and Tiki Jim would be able to explore the island a bit more, like they had when they were younger.
"I'll stay," replied June vaguely. Surfing didn't interest her much, she was fonder of staying on solid ground.
Waikiki Keanu grabbed onto his board after falling into the water and paddled over to Kiki to watch her play with the waves. He needed a short break and it was rather entertaining.

"Did you see the bigger the wave is the bigger I can make the shape? That's awesome." Waikiki KiKi giggled as she made larger dog from Keanu's wave.
"All right that's fine too." Tiki Jim just figured she would want to play with the twins as she is now their age. Still, not everyone liked the water.

((Finally getting settled in... Back to RPs! ))
Reira raised an eyebrow at June but let her do as she pleased. She didn't want to force the child to do anything. "It looks like the twins are really taking to the water," she commented to Tiki Jim.
June ventured a small distance away to be by herself. She didn't dislike her family, she just wasn't particularly fond of them either.
"Cool!" Waikiki Keanu replied as he surfed around his sister. The dog startled him a bit, but he managed to stay on the board with a slight shift of his hips. He found this reasonably fun and tried to navigate the water more by turning here and there.

"They are related to Hula Bob aren't they?" Tiki JIm chuckled. He hadnt' seen a pae realated to the surfer pae not like water. That would be a new thing.
"Look June's bigger. Should we get her to join us?" Waikiki KiKi asked her twin as she saw the other child on the beach. She was their sister after all.
