"Then be mine..." He smiled a little. "Forever." Keeping her close with his wings, he nuzzled against her neck and forehead. Staring into her eyes, he leaned over a little and resting his nose against hers in a type of kiss. "I hope you don't mind, but I think I've fallen steadily in love with a Goddess that can sing and she was wing markings upon her back. And she's made a fallen angel find his wings. Think you would know her?" He arched his eyebrow slightly, his nose still resting on hers.

She laughed softly, nuzzling him and purring deeply. "Weeelll..." She drawled, fighting the urge to pounce him right then. "I think I might know her... I'm sure I could find her if you gave me a description and I managed to tear myself away from your side for a heartbeat.. But I don't think that's going to happen, so you're stuck with me..." She kissed him back, and couldn't stop smiling.

"Well, would it be a sock if I told you that I knew her name?" He smirked gently, and only tearing his nose away for a second, he brushed his muzzle against her left ear. "Her name is Songstress." Halo nipped her ear gently then pressed his nose against hers again. His wingtips brushed against her back and rump as he gave her a mischievous smile.

Songstress giggled and snuggled close to him, purring. "Well darn.. Maybe I do have an evil twin... But she didn't have to steal my name... Or my male.." She pouted, eyes glinting with humor. "Maybe you've heard of him? Handsome, high-flying angel... He's far too charming for his own good..." She shrugged. "But I adore him anyway..."

"Really now? Must I have to chase him off so that he doesn't interfere with my Goddess again?" He nuzzled against her neck, purring deeply. At this point, the storm clouds were high overhead, their roars getting louder and louder by the minute.
Instinctively, he stared up at the sky watching the clouds closely. "The heavens are about to burst open with their eternal tears. Think we should get going?" He turned to Songstress, staring into her eyes.

Songstress smiled, then looked around the area... It did look like it was about to pour.. And when it did, she had a feeling it would rain for awhile... They really couldn't afford to be stuck in the middle, so it was best they left.. And soon.... Another rumble shook the sky and she winced, pinning her ears for a moment. Yep.. Definately soon... "Well..." She sighed. "Yeah... I suppose we should head to the Pride... I think we're about to get rained on.."

"You'll have to show me where to go, Songstress." He released his winged hold upon her and stood up shaking to try and wake himself up. Looking toward her, he slightly crouched to the ground. "Hope on, M'Lady. Your chariot awaits." He gave her a slight wink, eyes alive with mischief as well as other feelings. Feelings he didn't know he could have.

Songstress giggled and climbed astride, playfully gnawing on his neck as she wrapped her forepaws about him. She purred deeply and nuzzled his ears, resting her right cheek against his left. "For now, it is straight ahead...."

He smiled gently. "Yes, M'lady." Stretching his wings, he jumped up to the air, his wings flapping to gain momentum. It would be harder to fly in the storm. The wind could be extremely dangerous. Flicking his tail, he used it as a rudder as he climbed into the sky.
The angelic leveled off in the sky, the clouds becoming thick with storm. "Songstress, if you get scared just tighten your hold on me and hide your face in my mane. I promise to get you home one piece." He said to her, smiling a little as they flew, the rain slowly starting.

As though deaf to his words, Tessa loossened her grip on him and tossed her head back, closing her eyes and enjoying the whipping wind and the faint mist that had started. The thunder rumbled, and instead of shrieking in fright, she opened her mouth and sang. Words to wind and sky and rain, to the great lions of the hunt who caused storms... To the Fayth.. Her mother... Her brother... Words that had no real meaning, and yet meant everything. Words and Not-Words. Along with the rumbles of thunder came her brother's voice, and he sang to the storm alone. Casalure was the Storm's Singer, born with this abilty... He called a request to clouds and rain and sharp winds... And the skies were soothed.... "It will hold until we get home." Tessa whispered in her mate's ear, and then began singing her strange song again... It was a gift of sorts, a boon for a boon... If the rain held off until they landed, she would sing until the rain started....

He watched in amazements as the storm seemed to calm. Her singing calmed him as he flew. His ears twitched a little as he heard another voice. It was male and seemed to be controlling the storms.
His flying was extremely easy at this point. "Remind me to thank you...and the other voice that seemed to quell the storms." His tail flicked trying to ease himself in the skies. "Do I still keep straight, M'lady?"

Songstress paused in her singing, smiling as Casalure's voice swelled to fill the void left by her silence. She smiled and listened to him for a few moments, nuzzling Halo's cheek. "As you wish, my Angel." She smiled, purring softly... "That is the voice of Casalure, a Prince of Temple's Decorations.. My elder brother.. You will meet him when we get home..." She nibbled at his ear. "Yes... It's a small oasis... Not too hard to miss.. With a nice sized den at the heart..." Her home came into sight ahead, and she sighed. "There..."

He stared at the small patch and smiled. "It seems almost like mine. Just not really surrounded by desert, desert, and more desert." He smiled gently and slowly began to dive downward toward the paradise that Songstress and the rest of the Temple family called home. Finding a good patch to land, he slowed and settled his paws in the grasses.
His ears flicked as he tried to listen for other voices of her family. By any means, her family was probably way bigger than his, which made him quite nervous. He tried to ease his tensions as he crouched low for Songstress to get off him. "Do you think that they won't mind my scent all over you? They won't be offended?"

Tessa hopped off his back and glanced around the lands eagerly. It was good to be home... Casalure's voice faded around her and the sky darkened. Lightning sparked and the light mist turned to a rain, still gentle. "No, they won't be mad... My siblings will love you, I'm sure... And mother likes everyone... She'll adore you... Daddy might take a bit more talking to, he doesn't much like males comming to the Pride for... Us." She playfully pounced him and nibbled at his throat, purring happily. "They'll be you flew me home..."

"Alright..." The male stood, wrapping a wing around her frame. He nuzzled his chin against her forehead. "So, you think I won't be torn to pieces?" Halo gave her a playful smile as he nipped at her ears. "Alright, enough of that. I want to look respectable in front of your parents." Suddenly, the angelic became serious. His wings went right back to his sides as he stood as regal as he could.
If he wanted to continue seeing Songstress, he would have to prove to her parents that he could take care of her.
