She jumped gently from the bed and walked over to him, and wrapped her arms around him. "Yes......I feel I could conquer the world with you here."

"You're warm tonight...." She muttered, mostly to herself. She looked up at him, and brought her hand up to touch his cheek.

She smiled back, and pressed her cheek to his chest. "I think it was beating all along......you certainly make mine stop....." Everything seemed to disappear when she was with him. The dangers that were coming didn't phase her as long as she was with him.

She laughed softly and looked up at him. Her heart gave a profound leap forward at just looking at him.

The quilt slipped from her shoulders as she pulled herself up, deepening the kiss as best she could. She wondered if she was heavy as she wrapped her arms around his neck.

"Yes...you did." She gasped softly, pulling in a breath. She smiled against his lips, feeling so at ease with him with her. His kisses were like something fiery, deep, and hot against her lips. She didn't care if her heart ended up stopping from the thunder of the beats. It was him who caused it, so it didn't matter at all.
