I have a pink one... I love it... I put a dangling red fish on it and a Do Ko Mo Strap I got in Japan (also pink)...
Actually I was once at a LAN party at a Comp USA:
--LAN leader guy: *walks up, picks up my gameboy and yells* "which of you Girls has a pink gameboy"...
--Me: *squeeks* "Me..."
--LAN leader guy: "oh... the girl"
... man did he get his.
also I posted in violet... because I forgot the magenta code...

I'm the proud owner of pink DS. It's my favorite color and I kind of happen to think it suits the DS. Anything would look stupid though...wouldn't want a pink playstation. That is just my 2 cents on the matter though.

I talked about this subject with an employee at one of my local agmestops. I told me how my prefrence is black or silver, depnding on the system or handheld. His repsonse was, and I'm trying to quote him was 'Yes but that's because you're an actual gamer. Most girls who buy the pink ds or gbasp sually come in here and go 'Mommy Mommy! I want the pink one' and walk out of here with a pink ds or sp and a barbie game to go with it'
(Note he said most not all)

my pink ds rocks!
and it’s actually pretty convenient for me. I go to a lot of game tournaments (usually for another consol but it's nice to have a ds around for the down time) and like it or not there aren’t that many female gamers out there so I usually don’t get my ds mixed up with anyone else. But I do see a lot of “no that black ds is mine, see I scratched my name on the back” and “here just load the game and if the character is named *krill the killer* (true story) then its mine”
anyway i just don't think the color of the system should matter- because we all know it's what you play that counts. wink down with barbie games. haha.

I hate pink because it reminds me of the girls when i was younger who rly used to pick on me (and do a lot of s**t too) I like dark colors ..i would like to see a jade green ds but thats not gonna happen ..I'm buying either a black or that shiny white and buying a skin for it maybe AC Cloud or kingdom hearts so minds would look different from others

In all honesty, having a pink DS doesnt make you an automatic girly-girl, but pink seems to be the automatic color people think females would like.
Okay, I admit, I like the color pink, but only a specific shade, other than that, most of the games I own are arcade games.
I guess it really depends on the person whether or not they find themselves as girly, and if other people think so when they are really not... Well srooj them.
(and that was a very bad attenot at l337 speak xP)

I got a black DS Lite cuz I have a white SP, so I didn't want a white one, and I hate pink. I think my fav color on a system was the clear GBA's. Srsly. You could see the inner works and everything. They should do that again.

I really just dont like pink really. Ima black and blue kind of person. Yea I grew up with pink and white just about everywhere in my room. Now I close to despise the color. When I see pink it is usually on those girly girls that are stuck and or slutty so I dont connect anything good with that color.

I actually despise the colour pink...
It is an annoying stereotypical colour for girls that suggest soft and fuzzy...I am everything but soft and fuzzy, and the pink marketing is insulting.

I was late in the game to get a DS, HOWEVER that meant that I was able to get the DS Lite, which is sweet and hot. Mine is an onyx (black). A DS-gamer classmate of mine (a boy!) has a normal DS and is rather jealous of me, hahaha.
I actually don't mind the pink DS lite. It sort of scares me, it's a weird pink.

My DS lite that I just got is black. The pink one looks lame. I just don't like pink, but if it works for them then they can keep making pink consoles.

I admit I have a pink GBA with pink accessories (blame my bro for buying me the pink accessories and I love my pink GBA, but what is funny to see a pink PS2 remote. I was so attempted to buying it....Yeah I love pink stare

The shade of pink they're using is the kind that people wear with brown or black now, and I really don't like those combinations. sweatdrop
