Rojiza considers these little trinkets. She's naturally attracted to pretty, shiny things, but she shrugs a bit. Her Banyas are fine on their own. She'd rather have them prophesy naturally than to enchant them to do things differently. She nods, though, signalling that she understands, and searches for something else to ask. Finally she writes the question she's been wondering for a few days now: How did you catch Aurelia again?

"I didn't... catch her. She found her way to me. When I saw the Banya scattering overhead, I realized something was wrong. I tried to call them back. I have a gift - my voice flows through our tangible world as well as the Meij. The Banya can hear it in threads of Meij, and often come back.
"The others didn't come back, though. I'm waiting for their owners to come talk to me. There are a few things I can do, but I won't do them without being asked to. They're very... tiring."

Rojiza nods. That's a very interesting talent. She's very glad Aurelia came back, in any case. That's a useful talent. How did you discover you could call to Banya?

Tamlin had been wandering about, getting more an more accustomed to the caravan when she came across a wagon she hadn't seen before. it took her a moment to realize that this was the stranger with the banya who had been helping to retrieve those who had lost theirs.
they were lovely birds, her family never had one, but back home in Ireland there were always a few who kept them. she walked up to the wagon, her curiosity peaked.
"ive not better today this afternoon, perhaps a look at the birds is in order." she mused to herself as she stepped in front of the wagon and gently knocked on the door.
"excuse the intrusion, but might anyone be home?" she called from outside.

The door swung open easily at her knock - apparently, it hadn't been closed all the way to begin with.
"Yes, yes - do come in! I'm a little indisposed at the moment-" the voice came from a chest, where the young man was looking through things- "but I can help you in just a moment. Don't hesitate to look around!"

Tamlin stepped lightly into the wagon. There were various chests and nicknacks all around, it was a bit cluttered, but rather lovely how everything was shown together.
"please excuse the interruption then, take your time, I jus' thought I'd take a-look-about your shop."
She wandered aimlessly around picking up various charms, admiring them and then setting them back down, until she noticed the small blue banya chick. She was drawn to it, it was absolutely beautiful. she walked over to it and very slowly and gently reached out her hand and skritched its small head.

The chick looked at her for a moment, then scittered out of her touch to the other side of his perch.
Taniel was finally finished with whatever it was he'd been doing. "Oh, he doesn't like being touched. But he's very well behaved, otherwise."

((Time I did something about these missing banyas))
Heather noticed the new caravan and that several people had been going in and out of it. She held Kala in her arms tightly and went to have a look, she had left Amkia in her own caravan as he was still sad about the missing birds though the caravan was so much quieter without them.
She walked over to the caravan and peered inside, seeing quite a few in there she stood outside and waited for Kala to fall asleep as it was about the right time for her nap. Once the cat girl was asleep Heather entered the caravan, smiling at those who were inside.
"Excuse me sir. I am guessing your the banya man, I'm sorry I don't know your name." She paused and shifted Kala about in her arms a little. "I am Heather and I was wondering whether I could ask for your help, you see two of my banya's flew off and my son is rather missing them, I was wondering if it were possible at all to get them back somehow." She smiled again and held Kala tight, it wouldn't be good if the cat girl decided to wake up in here. She liked birds and had eaten several during her animal stage.

"Ah, i see" Tamlin was disappointed the little bird had shied away from her, but if that was normal... ah, well, nothing personal. She came closer to the chick, but this time refrained from touching it. She figured it was best to respect magical creatures.
"You will be quite beautiful when you grow up, I'm sure." she said to the Banya. Then turned back to the shop keeper.
"My family never had any of these birds, but there were often plenty when we returned back to the gathering area, so i know a might bit about th' birds, but i don't think i know this type. Could you per'aps tell me a little bit about it? Its a baby right now, but will it give fortunes?

So many customers! Taniel turned a welcoming smile to the newcomer and her child, then held up one finger.
Turning back to Tamlin, he nodded. "Yes, this one will give fortunes, just as any Banya. He's a sea loam breed. Sea loams are quite loyal and dependable, and rarely fly away. Their fortunes, though, can be quite confusing, and often will only come true in the long run."
Stepping back towards Heather, he brushed some of his dark hair out of his eyes. "Do forgive me, I'm not that used to having several customers at once. Anyway, yes, I am the "Banya man". My name is Taniel. So you own some of the Banya that unfortunately flew away? I've been waiting for you.
"There are a few things I can do to return your Banya to you. My voice can call back stray Banya that continue to follow the caravan, albeit at a distance. If that doesn't work, though, we'll need to talk further, I'm afraid. And I can't guarantee anything in the end..."

Rojiza, who had faded into the woodwork, as it were, listens intently to Taniel's explanantion. And there was the woman whom Mama was talking to. Rojiza hopes she purchases the Banya to give him a good home. Sea Loams aren't as bad as all that, she thinks. Taog is nice enough.

Heather listened and sighed, "In which case I won't be surprised if one doesn't come back." She checked Kala quickly and turned back to him, "If you can help that would be great my son Amkia misses them greatly, unfortunately two of my birds flew off." She wasn't quite sure what to say or dom she was slightly paranoid about Kala waking up near so many birds.
"Sorry to interrupt you while you are so busy, Amkia has just been rather moody since the birds flew away. I can come back later if that would be better for you?"

She hadnt planned on buying anything, her money situation being as poor as it was. but the banya was just calling to her. she knew it would probably be too expensive, but just maybe, maybe she could afford it.
"I see... is he, perhaps, up for sale?" Tamlin asked tentatively looking longingly at the chick.

"Well, Heather, I'll gladly try the first step for you today - if you will wait until my other guests are gone?" He smiled gently, then turned back to Tamlin.
"He is, for sixty couplets. And that will include perch, all care instructions, and everything else to help you settle in."
He caught sight of Ro from the corner of his eye - she was still there? Oh, but he felt like a bad host! Suddenly, a thought occurred to him. Holding up a hand to excuse himself for a moment, he went over to the girl, bending his head slightly to whisper to her. "I have a question for you, if you don't mind staying a bit longer...?"
