Pretending was not a word that usually described Ahote. In fact, things slid off of him quite easily, and he had already gotten over the fact that is wasn't the fish talking to him, and was looking around for a new adventure.
"Well, what do you want to do next? Do you wanna swim some more?"

Rashkae smiled and shrugged her shoulders delicately, "I don't know, I'm not sure we can swim in a stream like this." She chuckled, looking at the stream of flowing water frankly. It may be pretty, but the deepest part of it still didn't give her the need to swim in order to stay afloat.
"Well, if you'd like to swim, I'm sure we can, or of course, we can explore some more in seperate places and come back and compare at another time." She suggested, tossing her head. Perhaps it was time for them to seperate for a little while. It wasn't that Rashkae didn't enjoy the company of the Usida, she did, but she needed to check in on her "family" soon.

Ahote looked around for a bit, and then shrugged himself. It didn't seem as if there was much else to do. He looked at the sky and noticed that the sun had moved a considerable amount since they first met each other.
"Wow...we've been out here a long time! I think maybe I should go get something to eat..."
Indeed, his stomach was feeling a little empty, and as he thought about it, he heard it growl a bit.

Rashkae smiled, "Then perhaps we should part for a bit and meet up at some other time...?" She offered, canting her head to the side and ignoring the increase in amount of long wet hair.
"I'm sure we both have things that we need to be doing; we should go ahead and do them so that there are no intrusions the next time we meet, yes?" She took a step back, out of the small stream, "I shall see you again, Ahote." She bobbed her head in a good-bye, and waited for hisresponse before she took her leave.

Ahote smiled and bowed his head.
"That sounds like its probably a good idea. But I hope we'll see each other some other time! You've still gotta tell me about all those lines on your body!"
He giggled, half kidding, but half dying to know the secret behind them. He, too, stepped out of the stream and bowed his head to Rashkae in farewell. He then turned in the opposite direction and trotted off towards the mountains in the distance.

Rashkae smiled, thugh she really wouldn't say what those lines were to anyone, even someone she considered a friend. It was a secret that was meant to be kept, even if she ever acquired a mate in this lifetime.
"Perhaps sometime, Ahote," She conceded and she laughed as he trotted away, turning toward the direction of her own home.
