One side of my mind is saying "She's Dead you Fool!!" but another side is saying "Aww, She's alove. She's Just playing Dead for Azula so she can escape and be lovey dovey to Sokka."
If My other side was correct, then I think Sokka would try to suck it up, but then get total revenge on Azula (and maybe Zuko, since he doesn't like him either and they're related)
Most definiatly they will say what's going on with suki, maybe she'll get her own episode! ^^
I still hope that Suki is alive and that Sokka will go with Suki. (They are made for each other! heart )
But if Suki is dead and Sokka finds anothet girl, she may die too (or he may die trying to save her *shrug*)
To be honest, I think the creators are not only torturing Sokka but giving him a bigger part if he finds someone else, or something like that.

I've barely thought of Suki as dead, thinking she's been alive the entire time. So, I'm still thinking she's alive.

It would really be a downer if she WAS dead. ;__; I really like Suki. The again, I liked Yue, too. D:

I prefer Suki over Yue...so I am hoping she's alive. And until it's proven that she's dead, I am automatically assuming she's alive. 3nodding

Suki's alive. She ends up teaching Sokka how to use his new bad-a** sword.
She may be alive, but she was probably beaten to a pulp and survived by some miracle that Mike and Bryan only know. rolleyes

If the theory is true, I still stand by my prediction Suki will have some burn marks on her.

I could have thought she was alive. I got that impression from watching the preview of the next season that they showed at Comicon. Didnt go, just watched it online.

Butterfly Nebula I CAN MAYBE DISPROVE THIS SO-CALLED 'LEAK'. ('Maybe' being the key word here because all I've got for evidence was the SDCC trailer.) Okay, take a look at this screenshot. As you can see, Sokka is training with a MAN. You can see the beard and the topknot. "Aha," you say, "But maybe he's simply fighting with someone, not training." As you can see in this screenshot, which was from the same scene, it is not a metal sword, it is a WOODEN sword, and therefore a training sword. So, whether Suki's dead or alive remains to be seen, but Suki does NOT train Sokka in swordsmanship. (All glory to Avatar Spirit for the screenshots.)

I personally think Suki is dead and the slow-mo thing was a way of telling the viewers she's passed on without actually saying nor showing it.
But I hope she isn't dead. Suki is an awesome warrior and a great character to the series.
Sokka should be with Azula. Just so Azula can get jinxed and die. mrgreen

i would REALLY hope shes alive but honestly it looks like Sokka lost ANOTHER girlfriend....poor guy....best case scenario is she found some way to escape and is injured badly,but i doubt it
i think maybe the writers might've put Sokka through all this in order to make him grow as a person i guess- and if it is for giggles, then thats REALLY twisted emo and i agree...emo Sokka would not be cool

I think she just got knocked out, hence the sudden ending. That normally happens when people are stealing clothes. XD They knock the people out and usually tie them up somewhere so they can't get help and what not. I highly doubt Ty Lee and Mai would actually kill people and Azula wouldn't want to bother wasting her energy killing someone other than the Avatar.

Butterfly Nebula Okay, I have an interesting update. Y'know, if you're a nitpicker like me. I swear, it's the by-product of my past obsession with Harry Potter. I was trained to look for the tiniest little details in hopes that they might hint at something greater in the future. This means analyzing ANYTHING and EVERYTHING given to me.The Second Season Box Set was just announced for September 11, 2007. Woo! BUT. There is an interesting detail on the cover. Now, if you look over to the left, you'll see Sokka and Suki. INTERESTING, NO? Why is Suki included on the cover? She's not a main character. Azula, Zuko, and Iroh aren't there, though they're indisputably main characters. WHAT'S UP WITH THAT, EH?! (Canadian, lol.) So, what does this inclusion of Suki mean? WELL. If you want MY take on it. She's dead. xDDD No, I'm serious on this one. Look at how they're standing. I mean, woo, relationship development, but what the heck?! I think it's just a liiiittle too protective. Call me crazy, but Sokka looks pissed. I mean, yeah, except for Suki who looks girly and weak to the point that it's OC, they're all fierce, but he looks actually MAD. The rest look all like, 'rawwwwr battle', but he looks MAD. He looks like how he'd look if you just did something horrible... like, oh, I dunno... KILLED HIS GIRLFRIEND! Or, y'know, you could go with the totally plausible explanation that pretty much from The Serpent's Pass onwards, Suki was mentioned often. Also, Sokka's role is sort of the protector, so him protecting someone would make sense. HOWEVER. I think it's hinting towards something. Suki's death, namely. (I have a slight feeling of horror about the placement of the characters on the cover. The Zutara fans are gonna jump ALL over this.)

Suki is alive i say for the fact she was the only ones tall as Azula if i rember correctly and there where no burns on the 3 dresses and nit very posable ty~lee used her abl to stop them form moving.

If I had to decide, I believe she is somehow alive, but with terrible injuries. Maybe she and the other Kioshi warriors are taken prisoner somewhere in the Fire Nation. The only thing that's leading me to believe that she is dead is that Avatar doesn't give you a clear idea if someone's dead (besides Yue and Zhao).
