"You just need more experience. Within 50 years or so, you definitely be a great queen that would lead her people to prosperity." he says and dismounts the dragon. "I could go hunt if any of you are hungry. Do elves eat meat?"
Favian takes a peek at the cave exit and checks for anything suspicious, maybe even enemies that decided to stalk them.

"I'm of the rare few that eat meat. Could you find some dear possibly? Rabbit is quite stringy. IF you find any herbs or even vegetable. I could make a rabbit stew...or do you not favor rabbit?"the elven girl peeked into the cave, there was deffinetly no one there"Tonight, I will form a root wall over the entrance..."stepping into the cave, the elven woman raised her hands, clenching them tight, they glowed a gentle green, the earth broke infront of her and roots slowly made there way through the rocky earth"This should be quite comfortable...".

"I dont mind rabbit. We cant depend on rabbits though. They have a lean body and do not have much fat. I will go out to hunt, whatever comes in my way."
Favian exited the cave and searched the forest for wandering animals. Surely it will take a while to find food but he should arrive back at the cave before sunlight dims.
A few hours later...
It scurried across the forest floor, blowing away dead leaves by its speed. Rabbits were very quick- an observation which picked on his curiousity. How are they so fast when they are so small? Realising that his thoughts distracted him again, he returned focus to the vigilant animal. Back sticking tagainst the tree trunk, Favian took a throwing knife within his pouches and aimed for the rabbit, waiting for its occasional stops. It halted in its tracks, warned by its instincts as it cocked its head looking for wandering predators. Favian threw his blade but the creature jumped, dodging it by a few centimeters. Favian threw more at random, guiding the blades with telekenises. The knife struck the rabbit and it squiggled in agony before Favian's feet. Favian ended its pain by striking its throat. He did not enjoy killing the creature but he had no choice. After picking up stray knives, he hurried back to camp with moderate haste.

Lecta wipped the sweat from her brow, the front of the cave was covered with roots, minus a hole like door in the wall of it. Asay layed inside, breathing in slow deep breaths, a fire had bin formed, it lit up the entire cave. There werre two beds, a regular sized one for Eleyym...So he could toss and turn during his comma without hurting himself or anyone, he was tied down with peaces of silk from her dress, the second bed was large, capable of fitting Favian and herself comfortably beneath the warmth of the leaves. There werre pillows formed from bundles of cleaned yellow and red leaves, and the thick blanket was formed of green"T-that should do..."she whispered to herself and rose to her feet. Walking over to the larger bed and layed herself down.

Favian was partially suprised at the makeshift door although he had already expected it. Walking in, he showed Lecta's silhouette the dead rabbit being held on his right hand.
"Where shall I put this?" he asks and stares and his other hand, covered in blood.
He was satisfied with the room considering they were in a cave and had started from scratch. Elyym was further back in the cave, sleeping silently-almost lifeless. His face was pale as snow which worried Favian of his future. The torture caused him to lose alot of blood.
"How will we feed him? He's asleep and fragile." he says and makes his way to the dancing fire.

"I dont know..."she whispered and stared towards Eleyym"If my grandmother was still alive...we would know. She has had children..."a weak laugh escaped her lips and she stared towards the rabbit, the girl raised her hand and a hook shapped root shot out from the wall"Here, skin it on that...How would you like it prepared? Just reguarly cooked with nothing special?"she smiled and stood from the bed and stretched"Tonight, we will be sleeping there..."Lecta pointed towards the bed, and stared back at the young boy, her gaze weakened"Ugh...you look...so much like him...".

Favian used the hook like root to cut the rabbit skin. He discarded the insides and cleaned it until only flesh remained. Then, he took the hook, broke it and skewered the meat.
"We cant do anything special since we dont have any cauldrons or the like." he says and put the meat over the fire. "Dont worry about the past nor the future but instead, dwell on the present moment where everyone needs your leadership. He's not going to come back in that other form because he is already here." Here in me.. he says in his head. Maybe I am him?
As the meat began to cook, the shadows danced with the fire for they were an eternal pair which bonds cannot be broken. Crackling wood resounded within the cave, piercing the occasional silence between them. The fire sometimes grew or shrinked in size following a complex pattern. It shed its light to Elyym, their injured comrade, as his stars weakly orbited his body.

"I dont beleave I am right to be a leader...."the elven girl layed on her stomack and closed her eyes"My grandmother was strong, I would never be as good as her..."playing with her hair, she examined Favian"Did she hurt you in any way?"the smell of the rabbit was wonderfull, sitting up. She stared towards the cooking peace of meat"I wonder if Asay is hungry..."the dragon raised her head at the sound of her name, sniffing along the thin figure of Lecta then licked her face"Would you like to go find yourself something to eat?"the dragon rose and stepped around exitedly"I guess thats a yes...."the girl sat up and motioned towards the wall of roots, they untangled and seperated to form a large hole"There you are Asay have fun...".

"Not really. I was just another human you 'flirted' with, she said. That is why she underestimated me or never thought to have unique abilities." he says, rotating the root skewered into the rabbit, exposing the raw part to the fire. "But who else would have taken the throne if not you?"

"I dont know...but I wish my mother was still around, I dont want to be burdened with something like this. I want to live a normal life..."the girl released a sigh and stared plainly at the stonny ground"My grandmother never liked humans...she never did understand how I felt..."closing the root wall. She turned over onto her side and watched the sleeping Eleyym.

It was a glorious dance they played. darkness and light, different counterparts, yet the perfect partners to display their own beauty. Night and day passed like fish in a river, sometimes quickly, other times dragging it's tail through the rocks, and mud. I watched the display, halfheartedly, for i knew the end was near. I spoke to the darkness whom held my soul, please, let me say goodbye.... i pleaded. I would not leave without letting them know....
why should i, elf? it asked suspiciously, they know what happened, and they know your love. They would not have asked for more, would they? continued the entity. It seemed to have an odd aversion to the humble request, as though it would lead to it's own poison.
I must tell them why....they know not the message. My young queen's mind stirs with turmoil, and thoughts of an invaded throne haunt her mind. I must tell her....she has to know...Please, i beg you. Let me have my request, and i will surrender to you, willingly.....i beg you... and it was the best argument i could imagine at the time. I prayed silently, hoping it would agree.
Hmmm..... it seemed to ponder the thought. I knew it had nothing to gain from it, but equally nothing to lose. do you believe you have lived a full, and complete life, small one? it asked me precariously. It was an odd question...Perhaps i would answer the wrong one...it waited for my answer patiently, so i mulled the possibilities, and the meaning of what he'd just asked.
I believe my purpose is fulfilled, and my heart is content, except for this last matter. Upon the completion of my request, my life will be in your hands, to do with whatever you so please.... It was the truth. I'd guided my little queen through life, dodging obstacles with her, training her mind, as a father.....very much like a father. I decided at that moment, that Lecta was my daughter. Realistically or not, it was truth. I loved her as a daughter, and treated her so. Yes, she is my daughter, and i will address her so, at the appropriate time.
The dark entity seemed on the verge of a decision. What would be wrong with giving it more time? it asked itself. Perhaps this one is different....Then it replied, I can see you value your life little. None others before you have so humbly asked for such a thing. I suppose it is little a task to admit.....hmmm...Yes, your wish will be granted....but not now. I will tell you when it is time my friend.... it answered.
Relief washed over me, and contentment started to flood my soul like water over a rock in the mud. I was glad, and happy, and had never felt such joy, although the intrepidation of the soon-coming event soiled the joy, sapping it of it's luster. It will come...i told myself.....it will come.....

Although the meat was not seasoned nor special in anyway, the starving Favian enjoyed the fragrance it released. The aroma climbed into his nostrils, causing him to drool-alsmost. His grumbling stomach ordered him to devour the sizzling meat as it slowly came to a cook.
"It is done." he says, offering her the freshly cooked rabbit. "Take your portion of it and i shall take mine thereafter."
Favian's consiousness nudged him. He did not want to feast on a rabbit and relish himself while his comrade was lying on a bed, reaching the brink of life. T'was as if the death god himself was struggling in a decision wether to cut his life thread or allow him to fulfill his destiny: to complete the oath which he made with Lecta-to be her eternal guardian.

The elven girl pulled the leg from the rabbit, staring back at the lifelessbody of her father figure"How will i feed him?"she asked herself. Taking a bite of the rabbit and released a gentle sigh. It tasted wonderfull"I fear for him...I never realy had a familly before. I was almost alway's on my own, my parents died when I was six...The only time my grandmother took care of me is when I fell from the tree city...Even then she hardly cared...", she had quickly finished off he leg, placing it down on the ground. She released a sigh"What to do...you may have the rest of the rabbit if you desire Favian...".

Favian ate the rabbit and devoured whatever she left. Finishing off, he wiped his hands with a napkin he retrieved from his pocket. Walking towards Elyym's body, he examined his condition though he knew nothing could be done. I wonder if those torture instruments were tainted by undead blood. If so, I fear for his future.
"We are caught in a spiral of death, no?" he says, tilting his head to the cave ceiling. "The undead limit the population of us, humans. I certainly hope Elyym had not caught himself in that deadly spiral. I have this feeling that both of you have a bond of some sort, probably from a memory lost deep within the deep abyss of my mind..."

"Yes...he saved me when we first met, just after I met you...18 years ago...You may not remember. But my blood was poisoned by an undead..."releasing a weak laugh, she sat up against the stony wall and placed a hand to her stomack"....This may sound discusting to you...for you are still young." her breathing came in deep breaths"But...I would like to have....a child..."her heart was racing, for the first time in a long time she had finaly said it, Eleyym wouldnt be to impressed, his fatherly instincts would have kicked in if he hurd it"Hmm...if Eleyym was awake...he would protest...".
