Serenity laughed. "My, what an excitable boy," she grinned. "And Skye's quite energetic as well ... or was until she became too homesick."
She cupped Elnara's chin in her hands and looked at her face, examining her closely. "You look much healthier than you did when last I saw you," she murmured contentedly. "I think this world agrees with you ..."

"Uhm...." Lore chuckled a bit more nervously, he felt like such a fish out of water, and to be around so many people.... "I've never met... uhm... Nako," he replied.
Akward much? Very much in Lore's case, he wondered if the lady's name was Nako. Since it was hard to explain to Skye that a person could have more than one name.

Skye blinked. "Lore not know Nako?" she asked him, puzzled. She pointed up the stairs to where Serenity and Elnara were standing. "See? Nako!" she told him. Elnara grinned at her mother. "Come on," she said excitedly. "Let's go downstairs where there's actually room ... the stairs are hardly the best place for a reunion." She laughed and started leading the way down the stairs, smiling widely at Lore as she drew near him, her eyes sparkling as they rarely did. It was only then that she patted Skye's head, then reached up and gave her a kiss on the forehead.

Serenity nodded and waited for Kara to go first - since the angel was further down the stairs anyways. Her eyes grew warm as she saw the way her daughter and granddaughter interacted with Lore ... it was touching, it really was.

Kara followed Elnara hopping down the stairs even though she was trying not to. She was excited to be back home, maybe someone was making dinner, maybe she should start making dinner.

Lore smiled up at Serenity before following Elnara, "I see," he told Skye softly.
Even though he knew better introductions probably awaited him. Hopefully he would make through it all in one piece.

Elnara led them all down to the first floor and just stayed in the open space at the bottom of the stairs, near the fountain and the bar area where there was lots of room. Why go further, she wondered. Then she wondered where Celebor was with Serenity. Nothing she could do until they came. So she waited until everyone else was downstairs as well. Skye was positively beaming as Lore carried her down the stairs. She was home, she was with Lore, and she had gotten her kiss from Mommy - not to mention, she was following Mommy now, not leaving her behind! Her wings fluttered happily, the wind from them blowing Lore's ear clasp around gently.

As Serenity stepped off the last stair and into the open room, she looked around with awe-filled eyes; especially at the fountain. She had never seen an indoor fountain before.
Little did she know it would be the least of the wonders she would encounter here.
"It's beautiful," she murmured softly.

"Thank you," Kara murmured, "It's a big place, but with all the children running around it's a good thing," she giggled, "But now it's so big at times you can't tell there are a lot of people here unless you look."

"Speaking of people, where are they? I know we left Salty and Jin with Trisha," Donovan muttered, "Maybe she took them out."
Salty seemed to like the lake a lot and it would keep him busy.

Lore could hear the trinkle of his clasps and the light breeze against his ear. He didn't mind so much as he took the final step to the ground floor. Things just as it were, but now he noticed how big it was. Which made sense really.

Celebor ran back into the room just as they all arrived, with Serenity in tow. "See?" he grinned at her, pointing at the elven woman standing with the others. "She looks a lot like Mommy!"
Serenity's eyes grew big and her mouth shut tight, and she ran to Elnara and grabbed at her legs.
Elnara laughed and picked up Serenity, then patted Celebor on the head, careful not to mess up his prized braid. She wondered who to introduce first.
"Mother," she decided finally, "Kara, Donovan ... this is Lore. Though ... Donovan, you already know him, don't you," she laughed, slipping her hand into Lore's, hoping he wouldn't mind. Well, after all, she supposed, this was the reason he had come here in the first place.

Serenity laughed at Celebor again, then smiled at Lore. "Pleased to finally meet you," she said politely, putting two fingers to the space between her eyes, which were sparkling much like Elnara's were. She lowered her hands after a moment and added, "Skye's told us a bit about you, though of course not enough." She laughed again.

"Don't look at me," Donovan muttered not even trying to look innocent, "I was just checking out cookbooks, and research documents for my cousin."
The latter is what he had told Lore in the first place.

"It's a pleasure to meet you," Kara chuckled even though she knew that she too had met Lore but only passing by him as she was looking into the library for school purposes.
